What a wonderful experience. Cant believe Im saying that about an auto mechanic. Took my car in right before they closed for a wheel alignment and balance (for like $80) and he pointed out the inside of my front tires were dangerously worn down. He didnt have time so he recommended another tire shop because he I told him I lived an hour away. He could of said come back tomorrow and Ill sell you some tires but he put my saftey first. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a fair auto service.

Had a new clutch put in he was reasonably priced and had it done in no time 5 stars for these guys!

All the men that work there were so considerate...even with the covid policy they didnt have me wait outside in the heat. They offered me a seat inside, some water, and took the time to show me what was wrong with my brakes. I would highly recommend this place. They have reasonable prices and have excellant customer service.

Great and honest place

I was fortunate enough to find this place with knowledgeable and capable mechanics. They are transparent about what the issues are and the different options available to fix them. I felt completely at ease having them service my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. I was worried about my brakes and the horrible noise they were making but George and team were able to identify the issue and explain the fix to me. Wonderful service and very prompt.

My tire on my car was flat. They said there was a nail in my tire!!

These people are crooks they supposedly changed the motor and all the wiring and was the same..the car was there for 6 months kept coming back during the 6 months and the car was the same .. took it somewhere else and they said they didnt do anything to the car motor wise.. these people are ripoffs

The service was good and the people were very friendly and nice.

My alignment was so bad I white-knuckled it all the way to their shop. They immediately went to work on my car and showed me that unfortunately the inner half of the two front tires had no tread depth whatsoever (I waited too long to bring it in). There was also a bolt that was so loose an accident was imminent. So thankful for their friendly and competent service. Joe is the best!

BEWARE NOT HONEST!!!!!Ive been going there since 2013. Ive given them thousands in repairsI just now found out that they overcharged me more than $300.00 for a part for my car and added tons of extra labor expenses..Paid $1633.33 for a repair that was not complete and should have cost half as muchAnd would not provide me with the purchase invoices for the parts nor the warranty (which they said was 3 months and as it turns out is for a year !!!! NOT HOnorable.......BEWARE NOT HONEST (TWO)The Part is warrantied through Honda for 1 year or 12,000 miles.Once again Your lack of honesty !!!!As a business we are allowed to make a profit on partsHonda $324.00 You $650.00 I should say so.......Honda $1065.00 on the service You $1633.00......Above and Beyond more like Below and Without.......Because of your macho posturing and deception its a pity you dont realize what this has cost YOU......NO HONOR !!!!!

I was fortunate enough to find this place through a smog coupon. They’re great! I went back for an oil change, and they saved my brake rotors. I had forgotten that I needed to have my brakes serviced. I liked that they showed me on my car the broken items so I was sure they were telling the truth about needed repairs and not just trying to sell me something.The waiting room is spacious with a ping pong table, and the owner is very friendly and kind. Prices were reasonable for smog, synthetic oil change, brakes, and air filter. There’s ample parking and they’re dog friendly too! Many of my neighbors also recommend them on Nextdoor. Thank you, you guys rock!

The pricing is remarkable! I needed a service most shops refused and broadway tire was able to completely reconstruct my whole steering column on a hard to find 91 model chevy for a rather low price.

Service is great here, very accommodating and the staff is very friendly. Joe, the manager is awesome and will give you the best price and only replace what needs to be replaced. I recommend Broadway tire & automotive to everyone I know that needs a realiable mechanic.

Great service friendly people. Had brakes done on my car then we took the truck in for service. The check engine light came on it was a misfiring from the plug that had fluid in the cylinder. A bit pricey for this work but they fixed the problem Im happy. Also had a missing wheel cover for the tires on the car and Joe replaced all 4 wheel covers to match. Thats awesome service. I share the previous comment that it was a total disaster. For starters they do not have visible hours in the store and I was never informed that they closed at 5pm the case is that I arrived there today December 22, 2016 at 4:20 pm approximately to have an alignment to my car and I was told that they could do it today that took 45min assuming they closed at 6 oclock to see me said that they were going to take the time that they gave me they would pass by 5pm. I took the time to walk around the area while towards that time and to my surprise arrived and the premises is closed and there was absolutely nobody was not even there my car. A complete lack of respect and consideration because they left me walking while it is raining since it is the only car that we have any emergency that could have caused them never got to think only retained my car and they were not able to tell me before they closed at 5pm or at least think about everything I mentioned before and wait since they omitted that great detail. Fatal. I hope not to need your services again and will do everything on my part to make it happen.

This place is the worst place in the world.i was charged over $600 to have my air conditioner repaired. It never really got very cold. And after 1 week it stopped working entirely . so i took it to a different shop where they fixed it correctly for half of what broadway tire and automotive charged me. Not to mention they told me that it wasnt repaired correctly and that it was the worst work they had ever seen in thier life. If you want your car or truck fixed wright DONT GO THERE!!!

Do not go here !!! Awful service, I feel very disrespected as a customer. I came to this place a couple months and got new front brakes as well as rotors that came with a warranty . I stopped by because I noticed my brake light on .when I came by right off the bat the man behind the desk was very rude . They could not even find me in there system . And had told me that did a paper invoice, so they had no proof of me being there . I had even recognized him as being the man that helped me that day and he was told me he did not remember me or my car one bit . I feel so disrespected to have spent my money at this car shop I will not recommend this shop to anyone !!!!

Broadway auto repair is the worst shop ever.Joe is the biggest crook Ive ever encountered his own family members wont even bring their vehicles to him for repairs. If you like beign ripped off and lied to your face then go here.

Total disaster. They did substandard work which damaged my car and caused other problems. I filed a complaint with the CA BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) which found in my favor but Broadway Tire refused to mediate with the BAR. My next step is to take this company to court and sue for my money back, though no amount of money can compensate for the hassle and unbelievable level of BS this so-called repair shop put me through. My recommendation: RUN AWAY - take your car somewhere else.

Broadway Tire is a reliable mechanic shop on the corner of Broadway and First Street in downtown El Cajon. They have been in business 25 years, and through two devastating tragedies to the building (a fire that destroyed everything, and a construction truck running 3 cars through the front door and front bay area), have managed to bounce back and continue to provide great service in El Cajon. The best part is that they guarantee all of their work and warranty their parts as stated. They will not do work on the car if the customer dont approve it, and they will only write what their specialists suggest on your invoice. Owner Issa is there to see work get done, and the manager Joe is resourceful, personable, and caring. Joe makes every customer important and genuinely wants the customer to leave satisfied and pleased with their service. If youre looking for a reliable and honest mechanic (who isnt), give Broadway Tire a call.
