We love Safeway. I worked at one for 10 years so I know the quality and friendliness of them.

I made appointments for both my parents at 10am today to get their booster shot. When they arrived there the lady at the counter said she has no record of an appointment for either of them. My dad even showed her the confirmation printouts and her response was only she has no record of it and they have been having trouble with their new system. She said they can fill out a health history form and go back to the end of the line. Which that form shouldnt be needed to be filled out for the shot anyway. She didnt apologize for their error or anything. Just that they didnt have their appoints and they can go to the back of the line and wait after filling out a form that isnt needed. If you need a dependable pharmacy, Aberdeen Safeway if not the one to go to.

Very accommodating and stocked with a wide variety of goods, including organic. Great deli, bakery, and floral areas. Workers were very hospitable too! 😀

I had some groceries in my cart and my mom needed to use the bathroom and I was sitting at the tables where people eat waiting for her to come out of the bathroom and the lady came over there and told me that I couldnt sit there with unpaid for groceries. Rude.

Always fresh produce. Organized with quick check outs. Only fault is the weighted self check out machines. Hassle for sure because of weight sensitivity.

Safeways pharmacy needs more help! I went in for a 10:00 immunization got their 15 minutes early and got out of there at 10:45. Pharmacist was racing around trying to get things taken care of as fast as he could. You need to seriously look at your staffing!

Coffee at Starbucks was awesome! They also had everything we needed for our trip. Large liquor section and wine section. One of the nicer Safeways Ive been to

Best Grocery store in town. Excellent selection and low prices on gas. Deli and check out lines are usually pretty backed up, but still worth it.

We were looking to buy one bottle of Crown Royal. They have a button to request help. We pushed it twice but no one came. We waited 20 minutes for some one to come unlock the cabinets. Two different times we checked with employees, one from the bakery department and one from the deli department, they were nice and tried to get someone to help us but no one was available to unlock the doors. It is as if they did not want or expect customers to purchase any hard alcohol?! It was definitely a frustrating process.

This store has some highs and lows..... Highs - bakery, excellent cakes. Very good at rotating product.Lows - produce and deli, horrible at rotating product. Need more drivable carts.

Decent store and at times has some good deals, but without a sale goin on it can get kind of pricey.

There is a manager here that is a genuine true angel. I had some trouble at the gas pump, it was just one more thing that could go wrong. I was at my whits end and called the store. Sarah came out to the pumps, assessed my situation, and more than fixed it. I cant tell you how thankful I am for her today, and if you see her give her a shout out. She is amazing.

Good selection of food products. Yesterday they were out of benihana yakisoba and stouffers baked chicken, but new today!

Always friendly and courteous. Any questions or suggestions they will answer and handle.My favorite is the sushi. They do a great job with both freshness and presentation.

Couple things: Got gas here, they really should expand and get at least one more row of pumps. It is very hard to get in and the lines are long even in non-peak times. I am appreciative of Safeway though as it is a place I can always count on for groceries, snacks and the last minute ice cream runs.Also, corporate if youre listening... can we just use our card / phone number and not the dumb app? I swear it makes our visits twice as long trying to add something to the app and sometimes it takes 5 min just to find it and we are tech savvy. I am starting to wonder if they hope people dont use it so they just pay full price. I asked my mom if she has issues and she said the same thing. Great place to stop but if you find a screaming deal on ice cream it could take you awhile to find it in the app which is frustrating when you just want ice cream for your favorite tv show and want to be in and out in a few minutes...

Lets just say that I was unimpressed with Cashier Karen. She almost completely destroyed a family moment.I hope Dreyan takes corrective action against the woman, before someone takes more action against her, then the Safeway chain, for having such a despicable person(s) working with customers and patrons.It doesnt matter that the 3 of us are health care professionals. It shouldnt matter that we are people of colour, dressed for memorial services. We are human beings! Dont accuse me of stealing $h!+ from your store, when we have plenty to pay for what we purchased, especially your electric carts.

Safeway is a Great place to shop, not only do they have great prices. You earn points towards gas and other things. They also have one of the Best in store Bakeries of any of the other store chains. You cant go wrong here.Jim Mattingly,Google Guide 7

Is Safeway what can I say. I went in for their sale items and of course I ended up buying a whole bunch of other stuff as well but thats whats going to Safeway is all about. Their cashiers are so nice. I like Safeway you can get in from any direction they also have gas.

Love using the app to save! Me and my husband are here near daily for odds and ends and have met some really great staff who work here! Lisa& travis to name a few there awesome and work well with the public! Great experiences here thank you guys!

Went to store at 1100 pm thursday after checking hours and calling customer service to confirm they were open until 1 am friday 3 days prior to insure I could get the items I needed in order to leave town at 200 Friday morning, as soon as I got out of my vehicle a guy working there told me they closed the store to clean the floors he was sarcastic and rude ..... There was no warning of different hours other then those which were posted and advertised. Most professional businesses choose to have floors cleaned/maintenence performed during closed hours in order to prevent loss of revenue and damage to reputation .. way to go Safeway

Really like this safeway.. kept very clean and organized..always able to check out in reasonable time because they keep alot of cashiers working ..like they should..hate jt when I go to a store and theres only one cashier lane open..and lines of people trying to check out. . Also.at this store, its.pretty easy to find help when you need it .

Safeway is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. I really like their meat and produce the best, but I shop their sales and I belong to Just For You which helps out my budget a lot.

Stopped for gas and had to wait a bit. One pump was occupied with construction, and another had been messed with by a customer, which I overheard from another customer. It was busy (Sunday afternoon). We stopped in to use the restroom and one stall was available only. A rather tactless customer was also waiting to use the restroom and spoiled the visit, so we left to find a different place for restrooms. I usually stop here on my way to and from the coast and it has been pleasant.

Today during self checkout the cashier over seeing it came to me and said there was a water shortage and there was a limit of 2 cases of water, I had 3, I asked where does it say that at ? Nothing posted in aisle where it is stocked, on the doors, at the registers, or anywhere else, also had a just 4u offer, unlimited use,, she was not nice at all about it, so I left my cart with all my items at the register and did not buy anything. They just lost a life long customer. This was the Aberdeen, WA store.

Busier during normal hours than other local food store store options; if you can shop very early or late evening, hardly any crowd. The produce and bakery departments are top notch.

Clean, well lit. Friendly staff. Low or out on some items, but they were restocking inAlmost every aisle.

Store is clean and my cashier was very friendly and efficient. The only reason I didnt give five stars is they can be kinda expensive and to get the sale prices you have to buy multiple of said item or have to get online coupons added to your account which is a pain in the butt for those who are unsure how to use it.

For such a large company youd think they could afford to replace coat hooks in the bathrooms and keep enough staff to keep it clean. Ill never order from their deli again after our 3rd horrible experience

I waited in line for self checkout as I only had 6 items. When it was my turn, I asked the self checkout clerk if I needed to scan my rain check items first or if he had to do something beforehand. He said I needed to take them thru a regular clerk. (Never been told that before when Ive had rain checks) So, I got back in line and waited again. I gave the clerk my rain check for 4 of the items and my coupon for the other 2 items. Each item would be.99 cents each, so less than $6 plus tax. She told me my total was (cant remember the exact amount now) something like $7.58. I knew this wasnt correct. I asked her to check to make sure thats right as I knew the tax wasnt anywhere near $1.50. She rolled her eyes and said it is right because of tax. I asked her to please look at the receipt just to make sure the items rain up right because 6 items at 98 cents, plus tax isnt $7.50. She didnt look but said, again, its the tax and handed me my receipt. There were people in line behind me so went to customer service and for the 3rd time, stood in line. My turn came. The young, blonde, boy, VERY unhappy acting, was the clerk. When I said hello and asked (nicely) how are you today, he shut his register and very sarcastically said, Im great. Everything is just wonderful. Not a smile at all, just a deadpan stare at me. So I just moved on to tell him about my purchase and asked if he could just verify if its correct. Without a smile or a word to me, he takes my receipt, circles something on it and puts $1.34 (not positive now on the cents) on the counter and pushes it over to me. Doesnt say a word. I take the money and tell him (nicely) thank you and I hope his day gets better. When I turn around, I see the person who drives me around (medically, I cant drive) standing in the customer service line, behind 3 other people. HIS rain check items were not rung up correctly either!!We are rung up incorrectly almost every time we go to Safeway, which is about once a week. Either I am over charged or my driver is over charged. Only once was I undercharged but that still meant I had to stand in line more than once to correct my charge. Some say to just accept the undercharge but I feel if I will want it right when over charged, I should want it right when under charged.Point is....this trip...I stood in line 3 times to get an order priced correctly. Then had to wait again while my ride got his order corrected too!!Safeway, get your act together!! Poor customer service at ALL THREE clerks today.

The best place to go in town, period. Great prices average selection and available products. Some what dirty around bathrooms and most of the theres a homeless person in there washing or whatever they do in there?

The only place to buy powdered white cocoa, for my Peppermint White Mochas. Not only that, it tastes better than any liquid White Chocolate syrups like: Torani, Ghiradelli, or Da Vinci.

Me and my family love love love Safeway! The employees are so awesome patient and have been so helpful with my babies. And my babies are handfuls to say the least. I dont know where wed be without the cookies the smiles the giggles and the uh ohs. My daughter adores the manager Sarah more than anyone weve ever crossed paths with.... Think shed trade me in if it were up to her 😊 the deli is yummy yummy always super busy but maintain rushes of customers well. Always awesome customer service. There are times I am amazed just how well the Deli department maintains while being flooded with all types of customers with all sorts of inquiries. If ever someone had a complaint about the deli department, Id bet a baby that the employees themselves are not to blame... Keep it up guys, your amazing!

Well, not only do they treat you kindly, they the people who work there actually dont mind engaging in a friendly conversation with the shoppers. The Manager has done an Incredible Job with her store.

Only 1 of 2 major grocery stores in the area, other than Walmart. Usually very busy. Expect to wait up to 20 minutes before you get to a cashier to check out. Good stock of name brand items.

Good service. Waiters were wearing masks the whole time. There were not very many people in the restaurant when we were there.Food was good.

I used to go to the deli there for lunch. They have closed down most of what I bought. There is no reason for me to go there except Starbucks. The people there are always friendly and helpful so unlike the normal staff in the rest of the store.

Its Great to see everyone PACKED into the checkout lines. No Disinfecting, few Masks and no gloves being warn by employees. Though I Did get told my service animal cant be in the store, because he Barked at a customers child that was playing with him. So, Company, State and Federal rules and laws do not apply here. Lucky for me, I was only there for a friend. Im sure I can find that friends special things elsewhere. And no doubt cheaper too.

Tonight was a bit disappointing. Most sale items with additional digital coupon were sold out. Many other popular items had bare shelves as well. Fully stocked shelves are one of the many reasons I choose to pay a bit more to shop at Safeway.
