If only you could give negative stars! Totally unprofessional. The camera system they installed was CHEAP Amazon garbage. They took over a month to install it and it still doesnt work properly. They have expressed no desire to make it right. Complete waste of time and money. I could not in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.

Thank you!Original post: While the owner is very nice, that can only account for so much. First off, the doorbell camera works 2/5 times. After calling 3x to be fixed they have yet to come out. It’s been 3 months of complaining. Next, the receptionist ends every sentence in honey or dear. Some may find that as sweet, as a customer it comes off very condescending. Once I called to say I am SO FRUSTRATED I want them to come get their equipment I’m told “ for that you have to call brinks DEAR” and then she hung up. So much for going with a local customer. Oh and now I’m getting alerts someone is removing into my doorbell. So much for privacy. They maybe local enough to sign you up in a contract quick, but then they are quick to leave you. Good luck.

As a single mom in a not so safe world I had decided paying for peace of mind was going to be well worth my hard earned money. After calling the largest giant and getting crazy pricing and talk of a five year contract I thought Im not going to be able to afford this. I called four or five other companies but when I called 1st Alarm I felt an honesty that I hadnt with the other companies. Today Connor came and setup my system (the same system the giant uses for twice the price and no local support). He was fast and efficient and made it feel easy and not overwhelming. I am excited to go to bed tonight and know that I am safe!!! I highly recommend 1st Alarm and staying local Abilene. They support our local clubs, sports teams etc and genuinely give back to our community as a whole. Wonderful experience!!!!

They are the BEST!!! I called them to replace a contact on a new door, and make some updates on my security camera. They were out within the hour, and my work was completed in less than an hour. Not only are they nice and efficient, but are the cleanest contractors that have worked in my house, consistently. I have received the same service each time I have dealt with our local First Alarm company.

This is a locally owned company and they have provided us with excellent service. They are always quick to respond to any issues we have and are always helpful with any questions we way have. I would highly recommend them for any home or business security systems you plan to install.

1st Alarm is a great company! They spent time with us to explain the system and answer questions, its very affordable, and they didnt try to sell us features that we didnt want. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be staying with 1st Alarm for our home security needs.

Conner, was running late to the appointment ahead of time to alert me of his delay. Updated me on ETA several times. Kind, courtesy and professional is how I would describe this young man. He stayed late making sure everything was installed and working perfectly before he left. They are a small company that understands customer service and going the extra mile for their customers. Im happy with my choice in home security and would recommend them to others.

HORRIBLE customer service after they have already made the sale. Great before and during the install, but you can forget about getting ANYTHING done after youve had it installed. They wont respond to emails or phone calls and when they do, they just put you off. I would strongly recommend looking into ALL options before picking a security system provider.

We had this alarm installed today and I was very impressed! Connor Cariker did an amazing job and was very professional! He explained everything after he installed it and I knew how to operate the alarm after he left! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Completely disappointed with your company. Weve been waiting since December to have our alarm system installed. Connor has brushed us off so many times its ridiculous. On March 25th he finally showed (only after the monitoring service placed a request) and did a few things. He told us he would be back either Sunday or Monday to finish because he was going to T time with his buddies. Now here it is a month later and we still have not heard a single word from him. Pathetic!
