We recently had new flooring and carpet put in by Knight Carpet & Flooring. Barry Glover was great to work with. The original vinyl plank flooring we had picked out was out of stock and not expected to be available for months. Barry was able to find something almost exactly like what we had picked out and for nearly the same price! The guys that did the installation were pleasant and did a great job. The flooring and carpet are amazing and we couldnt be more pleased with the results. Its like a new house! We would highly recommend the folks at Knight Carpet & Flooring!
Great first contact; expect no problems with our install.
Barry worked late hours to serve us. He always seemed grateful for our patronage. We got our bedroom carpeted for good price. The install guys (Andrew and his partner) were pleasant to work with too.
Nice staff good selection
Have been doing business with Knight Carpet and Floors to Go for many years and have always been pleased with the way they take care of my family. Went into Floors to Go today and TJ & Rhett helped me and were very accommodating and super nice. I highly recommend this Abilene owned family business. Theyve been here and they will be here. Always love supporting local folks.
I called for a estimate they said they be out Monday they call me 10 mins before they were supposed to show and rescheduled for Friday. Friday comes they are a no call no show. I felt like they didnt want to do it any ways. I have hired contractors in the past they come out give you a bid and thats it. With knight they were asking how much I expected to pay I quess so they dont waste there time. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I will not be using them and I will not recommend them.
Josh worked with me every step of the way. He even got some of his guys out to start a day early because i made a mistake in the scheduling. Good prices good people.
They did a good job on the floors. But I know for a fact they stole property from my home when they were there. It’s hard to prove it against a company that has been here for years but it is what it is. Don’t let them in your home around expensive belongings
I had my carpet replaced today and this has been the best experience by far when dealing with home renovations. The salesman Shawn was very professional, he took his time to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this company if you have any flooring needs.
This company could not be more pleasant to work with. We worked with Barry Glover who tended to every detail for us and always communicated with us on where we were at in the process. We had floors throughout our entire house done and 2 shower remodels. They are fast and provide high quality work. I couldnt recommend them enough!
Great advice. Selection abundant.
Very good customer service. Was very helpful and I appreciate the information.
Knight Carpet recommended one of their installers to do a carpet repair for me. Mr. Manuel Fernandez and his assistant did a fantastic job. The patches blend in perfectly - no more evidence of my cats scratching under the doors. Thank you!
I have worked with Barry and Knight Carpet on over a dozen jobs and have been thoroughly impressed every time. Whether you’re buying a hundred dollars worth of carpet or thousands of dollars worth of carpet Barry makes you feel like you’re the most important customer. Thank you Barry, keep up the good work.
Excellent Flooring store if your needing Flooring ask for Wes Briton for your installation.
They did a great job replacing our carpet in our living room and hallway and matching it to the existing carpet in our bedrooms. They had the exact carpet we needed. Great experience!
Grwat service and associates willing to help and friendly.
Good price, great installation, and dealer followed up to make sure I was satisfied
Paige and his staff have met all of our flooring needs for business and home for almost twenty years. We appreciate their professionalism and highly recommend them to everyone.
When we built our home we used the services of Knight Carpet Company. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and offer great products, service and installation.
Recently I officially joined the family business, Homefinders, Plus... as a realtor. Being in property management & sales, we have been purchasing carpet and tile from Dan at Knight Carpet for many years. He is our go-to guy and Knight Carpet is our go-to company! Want someone you can trust, call on Dan for your flooring estimates.
Wonderful selection and great service. Thank You David!
Good price and service
I contacted Knight for an estimate to get vinyl plank installed throughout my living room, hallways, and master bedroom to replace the old carpet. One of the first questions I asked was if the floor had to be leveled and the general manager, Dan, told me floor leveling and prep was part of the basic install cost. He assured me more than once that the floors would be installed properly in accordance with what the manufacturer recommends. When they “finished” my floors I could immediately tell something was wrong. When I stepped on the floor it would flex and make a “click” sound against the concrete subfloor and was very obvious something was wrong. When I asked about it he lied and said that was normal and there was “no such thing as a level floor.” After doing some research of my own and calling the floor manufacturer, I found that the proper floor prep was not done and they did not follow the install instructions at all that clearly state a flat level surface of 3/16” over 10 feet, which is very common for most flooring. When I pointed this out he was blown away and had no idea. They never even read the install instructions that clearly stated what should be done. I also have end planks less than 8” long, end seems too close together, and repeating patterns right next to each other all over my house, all of which are specifically noted in the manufacturer instructions and are basic “flooring 101” type of stuff. The installers were also so lazy that they left gaps big enough I could see my subfloor, installed transition strips too short and crooked, did a very sloppy, unfinished job on the quarter round, and left liquid nail drips all over my floors that took a lot of time to clean. When I asked about the quarter round trim Dan told me “we just shoot it on straight” and “we aren’t trim guys” and that’s basically all they could do. I went and bought a miter saw, and with no experience at all, was able to make it look nice. When I called Dan to tell him my concerns, mostly about the floor not being leveled, he tried telling me that they were under impression that I didn’t want my floors leveled to save cost. That conversation never happened and he tried making it seem like a miscommunication. When I wasn’t buying that he said they were under the impression from the manufacturer that the flooring could be installed over uneven surfaces and didn’t have to be leveled. I pointed out the install instructions that weren’t followed and he told me he’d have to contact his sales rep. When he got back to me the next day he offered for me to not have to pay them anymore over the initial $1800 investment and I could just keep the flooring “as is” and fix it myself. His other option was that they could come to my house and take all of the flooring back out and give me a full refund. I asked why they couldn’t just redo the whole thing correctly and he told me he didn’t think they could level my floor properly. I told them to just come take the flooring out because it all had to be redone and give me a refund but I also wanted a refund on the quarter round trim I paid for separately that all had to come off and be replaced. When he talked to the owner (who never bothered to call about this disaster) and called me back they said they wanted to wash their hands of all of it and they’d just leave the floors how they are and give me a full refund. Then he made an aggressive comment under his breathe about this being my “end game” and implied I just wanted free flooring all along, which he refused to repeat when I asked. I received no apology, no sympathy, and in the end I’m left with more work to be done than I started with. This company made almost every mistake possible and then tried to make me feel guilty for it. They not only lack the competency to do the job right, but they severely lack integrity throughout the entire company. If you value your time and money, take your business somewhere else.
Always awesome staff! They are so very helpful!
They are nice and very helpful
