I am disgusted with the outcome at this place. Dealt only with Jeff Spadea. How he keeps screwing up the measurements on these replacement windows is BEYOND me. Second time around redoing my order told me there was an additional charge because costs went up even though it was entirely his fault he refused to honor original price. I have been waiting for him to get it right since original order he placed in January. He was the one who measured for it. If there were negative star ratings I would opt for that. Do not use this company or Jeff if you value your sanity. ***in response to owner comment an email was sent already to your company before posting this***

Quality products, great service. I would highly recommend working with the project manager and designer Andria, she was extremely helpful throughout a full kitchen renovation. I would also recommend working with Lou the installer if you can. We couldnt be happier with the way our kitchen turned out.

I ordered twenty new construction Andersen 400 series windows for a very ambitious DIY project and had a wonderful experience working with Jason Roberts. Not only was Jason knowledgable and friendly, but he was very patient, answered all my questions, and never complained when I tweaked orders. The windows were delivered to my house free of charge, and everything was done in a timely manner. I never write reviews, but I would be remiss if I didnt extol the virtues of Jason and everyone at CCL.

Make sure you work with Jeff Spadea and his partner Dereck Camara! I went to Jeff to buy replacement windows, hesitantly knowing the style I wanted to fit my home’s style would be expensive (wood interior and vinyl exterior with window grates). Jeff came to my house measured each window, referred me and met with reliable and competitively priced contractors that do impeccable work! Jeff helped me day and night with manufacturer options weighing the pros and cons of two of the best window brands and their features, energy wise, price wise, material composition and aesthetic design! Derek was available instantly to price out the different options Jeff sent me! I couldn’t be more thankful to have them work with me on this project! My windows are exactly what we wanted! Thank you, thank you!

We had looked for months for the clips we needed for our porch railings. We had stopped into CCL previously, as they built the porch years ago, and were told they didnt have them. Somehow we ended up back at CCL and started working with Eric H. And he was amazing!! He did the research and found them for us! Thank you Eric H. You saved the day!!

Building New deck on our house I stopped in and saw Jason Roberts to help with Planning and cost ! Excellent, polite well educated in the deck Industry ! So we ordered all the stock, $17300.00 dollars worth !! They delivered the stock on schedule, Then we were held up by town planning on the size, No Big deal had to re-plan and return $5,000.00 of the order. This where it all went wrong ! After they took $500.00 for a return fee I waited 2 weeks to get a check. The Check was made out to my Business and not me directly, upon returning to just exchange a check I dealt with the rudest clerk who wouldnt give me right time of day just sitting on here Butt Not understanding what I needed and talked to me like a Red headed step child ! No Class, My contractor deals with National Lumber, I talked him into this company and Now Ive learned why he doesnt go here. Customer service is everything !!! Not only do you pay restocking fee for anything you have to deal with some Unprofessional Office Help. Take your Business to people that appreciate it !!!!!

Replacing my kitchen. Stopped at CCL Home Scape. Girl at Front desk smiled went back to wha she was doing...walked around for 20 minutes. No one approached me. I even hovered near the two desks where two people were working in the back. Nothing. Went back to the girl at the front desk,,,gone. I was the only customer in the place. Walked around for another 10 mins...nothing. The two people at the back sitting at desks were chatting with each other...both saw me. 30 mins in to this I decided they didnt want my business. So I left.

I really appreciate Cape Cod Lumber. They take care of their customers and their pricing is great. As a contractor, I get frustrated when I am working too far away to drive back to CCL for materials. Seems like I am always disappointed in both products and pricing when I have to go somewhere else. I also send my customers to CCL for their kitchen cabinetry. I tell people straight up that I will not install cabinets that come from the big box home centers. Thats jut not worth the headache. With CCL, you have a direct connection with someone who can walk with you through product selection and through any potential problem resolution. Thats worth a million bucks!

WORST EXPERIENCE IN BUYING EXTERIOR DOORS. EVER.An overall aggravating, time consuming, error-riddled, excruciatingly terrible experience with Cape Cod Lumber. We went in three times looking for four exterior doors. The first time we were just looking; the second time we decided on the Therma-Tru doors and sat with a salesman to write up an estimate; the third time we sat down with a different salesperson (Trevor) and ordered the doors. We had planned to paint the doors ourselves but Trevor was adamant that doing so was not a good idea - no way if we painted them would they look as nice as they would if they were painted at the factory, plus the warranty would be ten years instead of one or two (I cannot remember which one). So at a cost of approximately $380 per door we agreed to have them painted at the factory. We ordered two doors that had black exteriors and white interiors and two doors that were white on both sides. In a little over a month they delivered doors painted yellow instead of white. I called to complain and Trevor agreed to look into it. I told him that I did not want this problem to fall by the wayside - I wanted it fixed quickly since there was a contractor involved and there was the factor of getting things moving along so he could install the doors. So a few days go by and I dont hear from Trevor, then another day and another one. After a week I start calling him and (surprise!) hes never at his desk to take my call. So I leave him vmails. A lot of them. I never hear back from him. So after the ninth or tenth day I call him and hes not there so I ask for his manager. Jay gets on the line and is helpful - says he will find out what happened. So the doors get picked up and repainted and we get them back within a month (remember, this was a simple door replacement project and its already been over two months). The contractor gets to our house in a week and promptly informs me that the swings on two of the doors are incorrect. Unbelievable! So I call Jay and explain the situation and he says that this is our fault because this is what we ordered. Our contractor got on the phone with him and pointed out that the swings were correct on the first estimate we did (during our second visit) but got changed when the final estimate was written up by Trevor. So Jay contacts Therma-Tru for us and tells us that they have agreed to sell us two doors at a reduced cost. But why would we do that? None of these problems were our fault - they were entirely Cape Cod Lumbers fault! So their solution was to have us pay more money to get what we had ordered, then have to deal with two brand new doors that we were not going to use ( the two that had the incorrect swings).I do want to mention that during all the back and forth phone calls between Jay and I, he said that Trevor had indeed called me several times to talk about the issue with the paint. The problem was that the number he was calling was not mine and indeed, when I called it, I discovered it was a disconnected number! I have no idea where he got the number and it turns out that he didnt have the common sense to either look for the correct number or contact me via email (that info was on the invoice as well). So because of Cape Cod Lumbers incompetence, we had to paint the doors ourselves and yes, the ones we painted do not look as nice as the ones that were painted at the factory. So at least they got that part right!Oh, and after we got the front door installed we realized that it did not have a peephole, which we definitely ordered.Just a horrible experience at Cape Cod Lumber. The WORST experience I have ever had from a vendor after three kitchen makeovers, four bathrooms, two decks, new windows, etc. in several houses over the years. Without a doubt, something that could have been prevented if Cape Cod Lumber made any effort to ensure things were done correctly during the sale process.
