Would not recommend going to this place at all. Rented a truck for about 14 hours ans drive from Rockland to Braintree and back- under 20 miles and they are charging me over $300 in gas saying I drove 267. The manager Barbara was not helpful and the attitudes seem as though they could not care less. So if you go here be careful because clearly they either don’t check the speedometer when they give it to you or they run up the miles.
Terrible customer service. We got there when there was no customers in the store and the there was absolutely no one at the front desk for 10min. It took for my boyfriend to go outside looking around to find someone. She then had an attitude and was very unfriendly when helping. I was there to pick up my UBOX. They gave me the box and forgot to unbolt the box so then my boyfriend and I had to scramble around to find a way to unbolt the box for an hour just so that i can move my furniture into a new apartment. Then a week later they’re charging me for a storage room that i NEVER set up. I would never do business with this location again.
Awful service. I made 3 reservations on Saturday Sunday and Monday to pick up a auto transport. Each day I drove 40 minutes there to pick up the transport just to be told they don’t have it. Today the lady just said sorry and said I’d be waiting a forth day as she waved me good bye like she was in 5th grade. She couldn’t have been more rude. Don’t waste your time with this place.
Storage facility is okay... can’t actually get someone on the phone at 9:15am.
The woman at the counter was horrible. She took forever to even acknowledge that I was there at the counter even though there was no other customers in the store. When she did decide to ring me up she gave me wrong information about the storage unit. First, my access card didnt work, then she sent me to the wrong building, then when I got to the correct building she had given me the wrong storage unit number, then when I went back to her she tried to blame me instead just admitting that she made a mistake when she wrote the unit number. I had to go to the desk 4 times for help just to get into the unit. At that point I felt like she intentionally was misleading me. I will NEVER us this Uhaul again and Ive already advised my friends not too. This was horrible
The Woman at the Front desk was rude to my mother and I, at first it seemed as if it was just bad customer service because they were not helpful and rude when we asked for help finding our unit. The woman threw the map at us and and papers and told us that the information we were looking for was on the paper she had highlighted a unit but then quoted us a different unit especially when we went back twice to ask her if it was the right unit. When we finally got to the unit that she said was ours it was occupied with a padlock on it. In total we went back and forth 5 times to the desk and in between storage units. She was talking down to us somewhat in a belittling way and now that I’m reading the comments from some Other customers it seemed very much racial.There were two guys talking next to her that were just standing and talking not doing anything and didn’t seem eager to help. They both worked there because they were talking openly about store business as well as personal things.When we finally went back the last time My mom asked is the unit the right one on the paper that was highlighted, the woman said that it was in the details on the paper but when the woman looked on the computer she lied and said it was a different unit when it wasn’t the same one on the paper. In Conclusion I would never rent from here again the service is horrible and the woman at the front desk needs to be held accountable for her behavior.
Treat your customers better. I reserved a 17 truck weeks ago. Uhaul rep called left a voicemail and said they only have 20 trucks the night before i needed it. I called back within 5 minutes and said I want to confirm a truck will be available for my reservation and he said with an awful tone ok so what are you asking? like I was wasting his time. Then I said i would expect the price for the truck wouldnt go up since I reserved a 17 truck but he talked in circles and said it would be $10 more. Good ole bait and switch. Seems like Uhaul really needs that $10 so im not going to haggle over the phone. Next day I pick up my truck the rep admitted it should not be $10 extra but he doesnt know how to give me the discount. Oh very helpful thanks. All around terrible experience and have already heard from multiple people how terrible the place is.
The attendant here, JD Lee, was very accommodating. I’ve dealt with him a few times here now and he has never disappointed me. Made moving into our new house an easy transition.

I did not appreciate having to go thru the reservation process when simply gathering info but they cant give you a price otherwise. The attendant to open the store was LATE (Abington,MA) so I had to wait 20 min for him to open up. The lock he sold me for the truck was too small. Otherwise: price fair, easy return at same location.
I have had a very mixed experience with this company. On one hand the uhaul uboxes were very convenient for our long distance move. On the other hand uhaul accidentally charged our credit card an additional amount for someone elses storage. After noticing the additional charges and contacting them numerous times over a two month period, I am always assured the refund is on its way. Hours upon hours have been spent on the phone and still no refund. They fully acknowledge that it is their mistake, they assure the refund is approved and will be seen within 3-5 days, and still nothing. I see from other reviewers that issuing refunds seems to be a common problem area for them. After being transferred to and speaking to upper management today I was directed to report it to my credit card directly as a fraud charge. In speaking with my credit card, I will have to change my card number and have new cards reissued in order to do this. It has really become quite a mess, and I hope that no one else has to go through this. Uhaul, you offer a great service and have wonderful people working for you. Please update your practices and systems so that refunds can be handled in a professional manner, especially when a customers card is erroneously charged!

Quite possibly the worst customer service we’ve ever had. They picked up a UBox outside of the scheduled times provided on our contract and said “good luck if you want your stuff you can come get it”.
Unless you over fill the tank and spend money on gas you didnt use...they are going to charge you for fuel. No matter what you bring it back with, they are going to say you didnt put enough gas in. And then charge you $4+ per gallon. Their interpretation of what 5/8 is on the tiny little gauge is always just a little more than the gas you already put in. Thanks for your excellent customer service UHaul. Never going back to that hell hole.
Absolutely the WORST pathetic level of customer service I have ever experienced with any service company. I have used U-Haul countless times moving to different apartments and to our first house and had always recommended them. This location however should be under investigation from corporation for their disrespect and harassment from their staff. We were told our U-Haul box would be picked up between 4pm-10pm, and this is documented in their records as well as our voicemails and receipts, however they picked it up unannounced in advance at 8am with our stuff still in the box! We called the driver 20 times with no answer, until they texted us to say “your box is at the Abington location you can pick it up there” which is 45 minutes drive from our house, and they have proceeded to harass us through text messages over the last hour. And we have yet to have anyone at the location even answer our phone calls for the last 4 hours!! Unacceptable and we are currently discussing the issue with corporate managers. Avoid this location if you have any value for your household items or expect to be treated with any respect.
If you try to do the self pick up online, and your selfie pic varies just a little from the licence pic you took years ago, NOT ONLY do they decline your rental, but they DONT TELL YOU that you got declined. No email. No text. No call. Nothing. You show up after hours thinking you have a vehicle. Turns out you dont. The only thing customer service can say is wait til they open...that defeats the purpose of self pick up! If I could be around when they were open, I wouldve just done that to begin with!
Staff helped me find a truck size not availing at another location, and helped me get the best deal for my short move. Loved the help and info that made it easy to avoid overpaying fees. Great guys. 🖒
Stopped in today to see if i could get my faulty trailer wiring repaired. Robert Nerino took the time to look at it and found the problem. turns out the equipment was under warranty. He re-installed the new wiring while also stopping to take care of all the other customers that were coming in and still got it done in short enough time. Thanks again Robert for going above and beyond!!!
Good place to rent trailers and other vehicle needs. You can also have tow packages install and grab your moving supplies.
Almost perfect. You guys charged me for a dolly, said it was inside the truck and there was no dolly. Smh. Other the. That thanks.
Very nice facility but severely understaffed. I communicated with customer service to schedule the UBox pickup and was told by the Abington desk they never received a notice.No UBox had been pulled, jacketed, or put on a trailer prior to my arrival.Support onsite was strike sympathetic and quick to act, but very ill informed by corporate, in my opinion.I scheduled the entire day have help waiting and no steps were made prior to my arrival.This is a very poor showing from a company like U-Haul, with whom I have never had a problem. I was even directed to this location for better service.
This UHaul could improve by hiring a new set of workers. The amount of misinformation, lack of help, and lack of care for the customer caused us to have a terrible experience. This U-Haul location caused us to waste $60 of travel, 2 hours stranded alone, left by employees, and a whole day of setback. To top it all off, the manager just hung up on us without helping.

Refused to help & swap truck after we were instructed to go there to do so after receiving a truck with a damaged tire. Shady Nakhoul said he had no trucks to rent, but we were able to reserve one online at his location for our time-slot while still in his parking lot.I repeat - we were instructed by Uhaul to go there for a truck-swap, and we were told to go somewhere else and call roadside assistance. Trucks are available online for this location.
Very short staffed, its hard to get anyone to the front desk to help. my credit card was also charged a month after we moved out of the storage unit after it had been paid the month before
