I am not sure where to add my review since there is no place on the actual website or anyone who will call me back or a number to call. ADT DOESNT CARE!!Pick another security service. Avoid ADT. Their equipment is actually nice and does work well. The major issue with ADT is the people. There is way too much inconsistency within the departments. People will tell you whatever you want to hear and could care less if anything is actually resolved, management is not much better. I was told a manager would call me and never happ. You have to keep calling and until they realize that you won’t go away. They tell you that two months can be deferred because I loss my job and I still got bills. They except you to pay and don’t care. One person told me that they had no record of the defferment and another told me that they found it but it’s not their department. I literally just got off a 54 min phone call where I was transferred 5 times. And still want able to resolve the issue. ADT IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!
ADT and Protect Your Home or DEFENDERS are now the same company, Ive read. But my interactions with both have been the same. These people seem to hate their job and treat customers poorly which makes me not want to do business with this company. I have never received the $100 gift card that was promised - even called several times about it and returned the proper paperwork. Before installation (which was over $3,500) they would not provide price sheets to look at and only give you a price for the entire package of items you want but refuse to itemize. I was told I had $1500 towards a package but the way they quote, you never see if you are getting that or not. They lock you into a 3 year contract. The website is not secure. My credit card was compromised and used. Every time Ive called, they have not helped me resolve anything and have provided terrible customer service. I will find another company when my contract is up.
ADT is the worst. I havent had services from them in over 2 years but I continue to pay them $55 a month because my contract was 3 years. Anytime you move they require you to sign a new contract so plan to pay them into perpetuity. They dont care about you. They want their money.
I have been trying to get an issue resolved with ADT for 2 weeks now and nobody has helped me even the slightest. I work for American Bank and we have ADT security as our bank security system and have had them for years now. We will be terminating our commercial contract with them for their poor customer service.
I had ADT for 3 yrs. They kept on trying to overcharge me. Even tried to get my bank to pay them $57.00 instead of the $53.03 that I paid every month. After 3 yrs. I paid my bill January 7th, they cashed the check Jan 10th, then turned off my Alarm System, then sent my name to A Collection Agency. What Alarm Service can you TRUST, not ADT.
I was very pleased with the young lady that came to install the security system. She had a great personality and was able to answer every question that I gave her. There was no doubt in my mind that she knew exactly what she was doing. She left me feeling safe and secure.
Customer service is a joke with this company - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS - my front door sensor stopped working properly and they told me the first available date to fix it would be in 2 weeks because they only use their own technicians!!When I asked the service technician on the phone to notate my account that I would not be paying until it was fixed he refused saying that it wasnt his department and then hung up on me - this is the worst customer service I have gotten from any of my service providers and I will be cancelling my contract immediately - and I am a new customer who has only been with them for 2 months - but it wont be 3...
Abraham was on time and very efficient and helpful. He removed equipment from the previous system and installed the new equipment with no blemishes or marks anywhere in the home. He was friendly and provided excellent service all around.
4 technicians, one stood us up, calls upon calls to Protect Your Home Corp. we still don’t have our equipment installed. PYHC will not let us out of the contract even though they aren’t performing. They talked me into staying with additional equipment that hasn’t been installed. Called ADT Corporate, no help because PYHC is a dealer for them. I used ADT for years and NEVER experienced this mess. They were always great to deal with and honest. All I can say ADT is with Ring and others, continue to have your brand drug through the dirt and you will be the next blockbuster.Each technician that showed up has been pleasant but there isn’t any info on their work order. Today’s tech didn’t have the touch key pad or cameras. He did install the seven sensors that we should have gotten with the base package, however we paid for three more that are mia. If you go with ADT, go with ADT Corp not Protect your home or Home Defenders, which is the same outfit.
My protect your home installation experience was phenomenal. The installation rep was extremely knowledgeable and polite. They took the time to thoroughly evaluate our home and family requirements. Highly recommended!
I wish I could give them 0 stars. They didnt install all that was promised/purchased. Tech wasnt licensed to install our fire alarm (then why send him???) Half of the installed devices dont work. Plus the system wasnt even programmed properly so were not fully protected. 8 days later and no one has come to correct it. Customer service is horrible. They could care less about quality and service.CONSIDER OTHER MONITORING COMPANIES especially with all the wireless options out there. You can get equipment in the mail that is easy to install, and avoid the outrageous costs and contracts.
Give ADT a call!! We were very pleased with our experience with Bill and Ed. Bill was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough explanation of the job and of our coverage and security factors. Both technicians were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to use ADT.
The installation tech was great. We loved Shanon (Max). I had to call CS the following day and she was ugly rude. I will never call your customer service line again. Shanon was polite and super friendly. Showed us how to use the alarm and answered all our questions.
The Technician showed much concern, respect and professionalism during the application of service. He was very knowledgable and shared much about the new system. I felt safe.
They have very unpleasant customer service.Installer that came out did not explain correctly the package they choose for me, cause I had chosen a $27.99 plan and it did not go that way after viewing my charges on my cc bill.Installer never mention anything about my package is going to be the $50+ plan and just took it upon him to install without any notice of my plan changing. But now Im stuck on the stupid contract cause you guys have poor communications with your customers.If I did have the $1300 to cancel this stupid account with you guys I would do it in a heart beat. Train your people right moving forward cause theyre all suck.
Good Job Guys!!!!!!!I would say that the men who were here installing the new equipment were very professional and thorough. They explained all the things they were doing and how it all worked....
