Aperturent has been a lifesaver for me, not because they are local but they have a wide selection of gears that I can rent. Everyone at Aperturent has been very friendly and helpful. The quality of their rental is top notch. I havent experience any issues with the gears that I have rented. Everything is clean and the casing that they put the gear in is awesome. Hard plastic lined with thick egg crate foam. Their rental cost is also reasonable. In some case, I was able to extend my rental, provided that I contact them first and if I can, Ill just pay the additional days. I would highly recommend Aperturent if youre looking to rent a gear or two or three.

I honestly cannot say enough about this place. Being a photographer in DFW, rental places for last minute photography equipment has always been a challenge. There used to be a few places in Plano but the price for rentals was expensive and eventually they all closed. Although Aperturent Addison location is so much better than driving to south Dallas where Competitive Camera and Bolt Productions are based. The staff are friendly and nice and very quick to get equipment ready for you. If youve never been, they are located in a large building that shares multiple offices. Once you find the building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor and take a right.

This is a great place to rent camera gear at an affordable price. The reservation process is very straightforward through their website. The prices are reasonable as the higher end gear is usually more expensive - as expected. My primary use for this service is to test lenses out before I purchase them. For others, they use this service to rent camera gear for professional gigs. I am not a professional by any means as photography is a hobby, but I greatly appreciate this service so I can play with gear that I couldnt justify purchasing for my own personal use.
