Horrible installers. Liars, and incompetent. Left home worse than it was before they came. Destroyed tiles, incorrect measurements, damaged sink and wall need repainting. A simple countertop replacement is now a nightmare. Sarah K is the worse Project Manager. She said “incidental damage” and stopped taking our calls. Buyer be ware. This place is shady and poor service at best.

Other than the fact that my countertop material was on back order, my experience was great. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful.

Absolutely the easiest company to work with, they will keep you informed and take all the guess work out of the equation. The measurement technician did a great job, installers were the best it was a two piece counter top and they made the seam invisible. Everything was done right on this job. I cant wait to work with them again, Im installing an island on the other side of the kitchen and they answered all my questions about that so when they come back to measure it should be smooth there too.

The TCF is an absolute JOKE of the business! No Management, No Responsibility, no Professional installer! literally NOTHING! I don’t understand why home depot give their project to this company! I signed a contract with home depot on first week of JULY(count how many weeks it is till November 1st and I am still waiting), the manager of project is Sarah Keziah which doesn’t even know how to manage the resources! She has no responsibility on her assigned project! FIVE to SIX weeks ago, they removed the old countertops and after seven times coming to my home for measuring and installation, Still I am waiting for full height installation!After four weeks living with no sink and no cooktop in kitchen, they bring the countertops, but since they didn’t have enough resources, they couldn’t bring it up to unit!!!! HOW SILLY IS IT??!!! It is kind of a joke! They don’t even know how many resource they need to move the countertop! The other day they came with enough resources! They noticed they cut the countertop by mistake and they need to redo it and take the countertops back to store! After 10 days they brought the countertop and measured for full height! Last week they came here to install the full height, they noticed the full height is cut by mistake AGAIN and they cannot install it! How crazy is it! AGAIN the other guy came here to measure the full height one more time! And still I am waiting for their installation!If you are looking for a place to waste your money, TCF absolutely is the place. That is the Worst experience ever I had!

The reason for four stars.....it took awhile for the countertops to arrived which slowed down my project drastically. Once they arrived the installation took less than 30 minutes and made the new kitchen look stunning! I would recommend them to anyone thats considering a new kitchen remodeling.

The guys that came and installed our countertops were great!! They were so professional and very thorough. We were very happy!

From the beginning the customer service was bad. Nobody returns calls, said they called but they did not. They then switched to totally avoiding me and would take days to respond via email. My date kept moving and when I threatened to cancel they honored a date one day later than our latest agreed upon date. The day of install arrived and they did do a good job installing but then the installers said they don’t remove the old counters from the home. They left them in my garage. I called Home Depot, they said that’s not correct and they should have taken them. I have now paid to have them removed. If I could rate as a zero, I would. Worst experience ever.Call the marble works in south Elgin, far more professional. Did two other counters with them. Flawless

The guys who installed the countertops did a great job. The templating for the sink cut out was off by an inch and a half but the guys were able to adjust the sink location and made it look great. There are a couple of scuffs on the big slab that probably come from being tied down during transport. Ill try to clean them up but if I cant Ill talk to my guy at Lowes. Other than that, the countertops look great!

These guys were a subcontractor for my cabinet build.Such a poor experience in the end. They had one piece cut wrong, took two weeks with no phone follow ups as promised by the crew. Upon the return, it was cut wrong in a different way, and I have not seen a crew since, five weeks ago.I have called, been promised calls, and dont hear back. Promises of the materials being delivered to them for fabrication have fallen through again and again, looking at other reviews it seems clear they have a systemic problem with product and lies. No offers or active updates, crickets. I can understand supply issues, but just tell me and we could have gone with something they actually have.At this point, Im seeking to have them pull out what they have already done and to go with someone who can be truthful and wants my business.

What a great experience! I’ve heard some horror stories of other companies but this team at the Countertop Factory was great to work with! The communication of every step was immediate and firm. No guessing, no worrying and the quality of the project was stellar! From the scheduling, measurements to the final install, I was really pleased. Is would definitely use them again!

Install was quick and professionally done. We added the smaller seam option and we have to look really close to see them. This company is very easy to work with from scheduling to finish. They actually call back within the 24 hours as promised.

Communication is abysmal. No one answers the phone or returns calls as stated in their voicemail. On calls I have had, Ive had multiple conversations about providing the serial number for the sink. Its the standard sink that is provided by TCF so Im unable to do so because the sink is in their possession. The vanity sink information has been sent to them multiple times by Lowes. Ive contacted Lowes to confirm. The PM stated well we will just install the countertop without a sink. The install has been cancelled once (not a big deal). Here we are 2 days from the reschedule and the sink issue is still not resolved. Will update my review once installed.Update: Assigned a new PM. They had to order the vanity sink so the bathroom install was cancelled. If the initial PM did her job, this wouldnt have happened. The kitchen install was great. Countertop looks great.Update: No one has reached out. I have tried to reach out. Nothing.

I have a beautiful piece of marble on my island that needed some intense TLC. I called the Countertop Factory to buff out all the stains and bring the finish back to the way it was 10 years ago. Boy was I amazed!! Manny Batella was my technician and he was very friendly and respectful of the situation (COVID-19). My countertop looks brand new and are GORGEOUS!! He did such a great job!! This is our second experience with TCF. They are fantastic with communication and meeting deadlines.

Know one answering the phones and nobody calling back. Voicemail recording states a call back by the end of the day. Didn’t happen. Messaged through Facebook and received a reply very promptly. I’m feeling more optimistic with their service

Very professional and the installation 5 stars.We had to have 2 measurements to verify the cabinets were level because I first used a 4 ft level and it showed level but after the associate used a laser to verify the level it was way off.I bought a laser level and stand on Amazon and was able to truly level all of the cabinets. I suggest to invest in a laser level to save you time and money if you are installing the cabinets yourself. Apart from that I am very satisfied with the service and outcome. The countertops are fantastic.The installers were top notch and efficient.

From the day we decided to use The Countertop Factory, the team has been amazing. Anne was great helping my wife and decide what type of materials and what colors were going to match our home. Tony was very thorough throughout the scheduling and install process. Their installer Antonio and his helper were on time, very clean, and efficient. I can’t say enough about the workmen I felt they went the extra mile. Very clean. Best part the work they did concealing the seam. I have a very large breakfast bar 39” wide and twice as long you have to really search to find seam I love my quartz countertops. Thanks to Countertop Factory

When counters were measured we were told that since old counters were hollow, pipes would probably need to be cut down and capped, ok fine no problem. Countertop installation scheduled for August 19th and 20th. Installation couldn’t be finished on 19th because of the pipes and no plumber available until early on the 20th. Plumber comes 11am on the 20th, thinking he’s just installing the sink so he doesn’t have what he needs to do the job. He has to leave to get the parts he needs, comes back and finishes cutting the pipes. I asked what time the counter installers would be by to finish counters. He calls project manager and leaves message asking her to call me. Project manager returns my call over 2hrs later to reschedule the installation….. for NEXT week! Ummmm we have no kitchen sink, no dishwasher and 2 pieces of quartz unsecured on the cabinets! She blames it on the unforeseen issue of pipes protruding too much but we knew this was a very likely possibility. Such an awful experience so far.

We had a great experience with the Countertop Factory! We purchased through Lowes, then the CF coordinated with us directly on logistics and installation.We had the initial measure in December. The techs were on time and quick. Initial installation was about 2.5 weeks later (less than the 3 weeks quoted). We got the rounded edge for the sink cutout and the upgraded hidden seam connecting 2 pieces. Both look great! When the countertop was installed, they also measured the backsplash for our coffee nook. Played a lot of phone tag to schedule the initial measuring appointment. The technician who measured was awesome and very informative. The installers were also great. An issue I have is that the stickers were not taken off the countertop underneath the counter. I noticed it after they left, and normally wouldnt be an issue but we have a undermount sink, so if we tried to take it off it could break the seal. Now we have to take a razor blade to cut it off. Not a huge deal as I am very happy with the overall outcome. The installers also did an awesome job caulking the seams. Also, the only the I got a call from my project manager who I tried to get in touch with, was after the install. She didnt even return my initial calls.

Impossible to get a hold of to schedule anything. Plan on trying to get a hold of them days or weeks ahead of when you need them.

There was nothing but issues from the beginning when I ordered through Home Depot. Had the wrong number to schedule field measure, no body thought anything of it and just let it sit until I finally said something. Install was scheduled then the morning of, there was a QA issue so they wanted to push it out until later in the day. Later in the day came and that didnt happen. They said it would be a week later and wed have to wait - already being prepared for install with faucets removed (2 bathrooms). Not ok so somehow, they were magically able to reschedule the install the next morning. Now I work an Independent Contractor job, so if I dont work, I dont get paid! I lost a whole day waiting around for nothing, plus half of another. The rep said someone would contact me to reimburse some for inconvenience, but that hasnt happened and not holding my breath. First and last time I order through this company.UPDATE - Funny, after their response...a week later and still nothing. Not one word from them.

So far weve receive no physical product, just lies.. Purchased countertops in February this year. Lowes uses this company as a contractor. We called in May after our new cabinets were installed, as instructed. It took two weeks for the space to be measured, no big deal. Then, received a call for our first installation date. We are now awaiting our 3rd installation date! (our second date was scheduled for tomorrow 7/13) The only time we here from the project manager is to reschedule our installation date. Each time she swears that the countertop is being delivered 2 days after our installation date. Once, understandable. Twice? Stop lying. We completely understand that things are still recovering from the COVID lock downs, but purchasing such an expensive product, and then, months later, having nothing delivered, and little to no communications is beyond acceptable.Update: Changed to 2 stars because of the countertop installers... Our 3rd installation date was honored and the installers were very quick and professional. Their finished work looks great.

This was a plain-less experience. Booked them via Home Depot due to a sale, and they made the entire process easy to manage and were quick to schedule my project. The techs were professional and worked quickly. I’m beyond pleased with the end result!

The countertop factory is an absolute joke of a business. I ordered countertop over 11 weeks ago. It’s been 7 weeks since the measure was done yet I still have no countertop. I don’t even have an idea of a time frame on when it could be done. I’ve called 20+ times trying to get an install date or at the very least an update but of course no one likes to answer the phone and do their job over there. I’m not sure if it’s a company policy or a personal policy of Roxanne Pacheco’s (this is the lady who was supposed to be my “project manager”) to completely and blatantly ignore the customer but if that’s what’s she’s supposed to do then she does it extremely well. I’ve called her around 20+ times and have only been able to reach contact once. If I could rate -5 stars I would. Worst customer service i’ve ever experienced in my life. Do yourself a favor and go with another company otherwise you’ll never have a countertop and never be able to get into contact with anyone about it. I wouldn’t even recommend to my worst enemy.

Its been over a month that Ive had my field measurements done and approved. Ive sent numerous emails and left plenty is VM requesting an update with no response. I do not recommend this place at all.

The installers were incredibly accommodating to my needs, extremely professional, very helpful, and friendly. They obviously are very skillful and talented because they did a wonderful job installing new granite countertops in my kitchen. It looks beautiful! Thank you 🙂

Very good experience. Had my master bathroom countertops done. A few months later had another bathroom done. Very courteous and did very good work. Every appointment and service was on time perfectly. The countertops are nice and thick. Molded sinks are very hygienic and look classy. So easy to clean!

Countertop Factory scheduled the measure and came in the measure window time and was very thorough with the measure and details of the project. The countertop install was scheduled within a week and Antonio and his assistant did a terrific job on the install. They verified required clearance for the slide in custom stove opening and cleaned everything down once they were done with the install. I sell homes as well as renovate homes for clients to sell for top dollar or renovate after their purchase and I have not been as pleased with a countertop company as I am with The Countertop Factory. I have had a terrible experience with this company. Awful communication, nobody picks up the phones or returns voicemails. Took over a week for them to answer a call about scheduling the measurement appointment.I received a call the DAY OF my installation saying not all pieces would be installed. Nobody reached out letting me know when it would be installed. I called and no answers again. Absolutely ridiculous.

They set a schedule for installation, gave us a 2 hour time frame for their arrival & kept to it...no delays. Sloppy Operations, NO Ownership of ERRORS, STAY AWAY!When the Measuring Tech (Alex) from The Countertop Factory came to my house, I requested two changes to my order:1) Change the edge to be FLAT (no cost to update)2) Add the Chip Minimization/Enhanced Seam/Digital Package (a $600 Add On)The Countertop Factory happily made the $600 upgrade…but FAILED to provide the FLAT edge as requested. Funny how The Countertop Company conveniently made the change that earns them an extra $600...Unfortunately I had no idea of their error until after my old kitchen countertop and sink were removed by The Countertop Factory. Once the company brought in the new countertop, I identified that the edging of the new countertop is NOT what I requested.The Countertop Factory took NO responsibility of their ERROR. The Countertop Factory did not want to own the sunk cost of building the correct countertop with the correct edging that I requested.As a result, I went TWO weeks without a working kitchen sink and countertop. The company showed zero remorse for the inconvenience.Out of desperation of having a kitchen sink with running water...I took the $5,600 countertop that was built with the WRONG EDGE and have to live with it FOREVER.

They arrived on time and took the time to make minor adjustments to make sure we were happy with the product.

So far this has been the worst experience. I would not recommend using Homedepot it this is the only company they work with. Mouth to mouth communication with project manager is almost non existent. It should be a top priority when there are problems that are STRICTLY company problems.

The Countertop Factory contracts SG Kitchen & Bath, Inc. who sub-contracts countertop installers to work for a daily pre-determined amount. However, they have a significant issue with refusing to pay their sub-contractors for completed work. The contractor, Santiago, puts over 200 sq. ft. on one sub-contractor’s route. When the job cannot be finished due to over scheduling, he refuses to pay the correct amount. Over-scheduling affects your customer’s satisfaction at the end of the day.

If I could give zero stars I would. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. When trying to schedule measuring, it took me a week of calling and leaving a message everyday to even hear back from them. Then when it came time to install, that was delayed on four separate occasions with zero communication. They are impossible to get ahold of, by phone or email. Ive left dozens of messages to get a call back from this company with no success. I would not recommend them to anyone. My project has been delayed at least a month thanks to their complete lack of communication.

I am very frustrated took several weeks to schedule delivery. Everytime I would return their call I get a voice message. I asked them to call on Wednesdays since I was off and could answer their call but they never would call on that day. If you are going to ask people to call back than someone should be there to answer or at least try calling on the day you tell them it is the best. So, I have to say the customer service is very disappointing. The guy who delivered was good though.

The two men who installed my countertop and sink were experienced and knew the product well. They gave me information on the care and cleaning of the quartz. They also cleaned up nicely after themselves.

The amount of selections was great and the ordering process was painless and easy. WE worked with Alissa in Normal, IL store and she really catered to us during the whole process.As soon as our order through Home Depot was finalized we were contacted by the Countertop Factory. They came out and measured within a week of ordering. A week later our counter tops were being installed.I never imagined the whole process would be done in two weeks. Everyone we worked with along the way was friendly and professional. Id highly recommend working with Countertop Factory.Plus we are three hours downstate and fitting us into their schedule didnt seem to bother them at all.

I ordered countertops through Home Depot and just had them installed by The Countertop Factory two days ago. I absolutely LOVE the countertops and the guys who installed couldn’t have been more great to work with! They were timely, professional, cleaned up and overall did a fantastic job. However, I would never recommend The Countertop Factory due to their total lack of communication and customer service. It took over a week to get a hold of anybody there even after leaving messages with several people and an automated message that claims they will call you back within 24hours. At one point I almost cancelled the order until I got Home Depot involved and they finally got them to return my call. It’s a shame their communication/customer service is so awful because like I said I had a great experience with the installation.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They have the WORST communication possible. Never update you on anything along the process. I am 2.5 months past my original install date and still the job is not completed. My kitchen has been a mess because of this for so long. I left multiple voicemails and have had to reach out to Lowe’s corporate office roughly over 7 times over to get the attention of my project manager who then still ignored anything and everything until I called corporate again. Would definitely not recommend them at all. For your own ease and comfort of a countertop installation go elsewhere. Definitely not worth the hassle.

I am SO happy with the way my countertops look! The Install Team called and gave us a time frame for arrival and when they arrived, they went right to work! They got done in under three hours and gave us instructions post-install. Roxanne was our PM in Addison, IL. Great communications and follow-up! Santiago and Raul was our Install Team. Meticulous to strive for customer satisfaction! Overall, if there was another star I could give them, theyd get it!

No show!!!30 minutes before they were supposed to be here called saying they wont be here. Not enough installers today. This is Wednesday. Now have to wait until Monday!! Home Depot no help eitherUpdate. Contractor came on Thanksgiving day to install!! Was not told correct story. Damn virus!! Home Depot did get them out also the next day! Did a good job too..

They were in time, professional, respectful of us and our home and did a beautiful job on our new granite countertops! They even accommodated a couple of special request!

I am thrilled with the process working with Home Depot and the Countertop Factory. From step one, Jen, the salesperson to measuring, installing and the plumber reconnecting the sink and cooktop the next day. True professionals, each one wore a mask to assure everyones safety. Perfectionists in detail, measuring and cleanup...I would highly recommend Home Depot and The Countertop Factory, I would give them a 10!!!

Overall, we had a great experience with TCF. They maintained their timelines and appointments and were even able to complete our install early. We had a small snag with the backsplash measurement, which the team was able to troubleshoot with a simple phone call and good craftsmanship. I would highly recommend this company. Our countertops are beautiful!
