As a new client to this specific Walmart pharmacy I have to say they are EXCELLENT. I just picked up my first prescription this morning (1/21/21) and everyone, from the pharmacy tech to the pharmacist herself was unfailingly polite, efficient and overall made the visit a pleasant experience. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS HERE; mine is 100% current and timely and these employees are wonderful and ready to help.

The pharmacy manager didn’t fill my legit prescription, she even hung up on my doctor she wants to be in control when she’s very uneducated and just unprofessional . She didn’t preform my surgery yet she wanted me to take a lower dosage and have control of my pain management. She even didn’t listen to my doctor. She needs to be fired. She even wrote all over my script so one else would fill it. I will be taking legal action. Don’t waste your time with this so called pharmacy manger. She stuck up and thinks she’s smarter then anyone.

This pharmacy has so many people coming through, yet all the pharmacists and technicians work so hard to make sure every patients beefs are met in a timely fashion.The pharmacists are sweethearts; they truly care about the patients health. If youre in a rush, they make to get your scripts taken care p ASAP.The technicians are so dependable and make sure your healthcare needs are taken care of.Do yourself a favor and skip the other pharmacy--- this Walmart pharmacy stands out as one of the best Ive ever been to.

I only went to this Walmart because my usual Walmart pharmacy didn’t have in stock my medication. I wasn’t feeling well and I was already agreeing to go to a further pharmacy from my house and to wait an extra half hour because 1:30-2pm is when they take their lunch break. I was agreeable to all this at the time of 12:50pm. I kill some time and have lunch and make my way over to Walmart in Addison (on NYE of all days, damn you sickness!) at 2:15. I get there and wait in line to find out my meds aren’t even ready and hasn’t even been filled yet. I get a super snobby and snarky response from the pharmacist behind the counter where she’s filling meds about being super busy and something about her lunch break and everything will be filed within another half hour. I’m probably more irate with the pharmacist (lady probably in her late 30s to 40s, Caucasian, blonde hair) than the time for the meds to be done.I work in healthcare, I understand what it’s like to be busy and have to miss a lunch break or have to reschedule a lunch break but atleast explain to me with some empathy instead of a snarky attitude.Sure enough, I never went back to fill my script and I am now making it a goal of 2019 to have to never step back in a Walmart again. Most likely going to be finding a different pharmacy to fill my meds in the future too. That experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully no one will have to experience that, especially when they are not feel well.
