I recently came in to put in a picture order, I was clueless. The younger girl Abbi was really helpful throughout the process and had answers to all of my questions. 10/10.
Great to have Balance Rewards. Metro offers service to make shopping easier without the need of a car. It is served by MetroBus route 46, Metro Call-a-Ride, and the new Via Metro STL van service. Thanks to that service, fighting for a place to park is now over. So I would say, if you live in Affton but cant find a way to get a COVID vaccine, let Via Metro STL do the work of taking you to Walgreens to get the shot.
Just needed watch battery. Walgreens is an occasional necessity for me but I dont make a habit of visiting the place. Everything was adequate.
Was sold the wrong medication. Then was told I cant return it. Then had to turn around and still buy the correct medication. I get it. Part of it was the law. But customer service is costume service and I didnt get any.
The pharmacy always takes at least 20 minutes just to pick up medication and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Save yourself the trouble and drive the extra few miles to Watson or Hampton.

Pharmacy staff is rude and unhelpful!! asked for supervisor and she made excuses for her pharmacist intern who was the rudest Ive ever encountered in the 20+ years Ive been going there. (um...isnt it the supervisors job to train the interns?) dont recommend at all
I have been using Walgreens Pharmacy for many years and the one in Grasso Plaza is exceptional. If any problem comes up they are very willing to do what they can do to resolve it. I want to give Stephanie there a big thank you for all of her help.
Very slow. Ive gone to pick up prescriptions several times only for the pharmacy to be closed because of no pharmacist being present during their normal hours.I got married and changed my name, had to tell them to change it 3 times, as well as give them my insurance again all 3 times because it didnt show the change in the system. The walgreens on Watson is so much faster and better.
Horrible customer service!The same employee (Heather in the pharmacy department) has a very bad attitude. This decision is not only after once or twice dealing with her but three times. I am also contacting the corporate office regarding this matter. I am not a hater but someone who wants and deserve good customer service.
Im new to this Walgreens. But never had a problem. I’ve witnessed the staff be belittled while waiting in line for a prescription. if you spent your entire day being lashed out at for things that were out of your control, you’d be cranky too.The employees working there are PEOPLE! They have feelings, just like the rest of us. I watched a girl walk out of the pharmacy and into the bathroom crying last week, as a gentleman in front of me called her every name under the sun, and proceeded to insult the pharmacist when they tried to come to the girls aide!All of it was over the fact that his insurance wouldn’t pay for his prescription until the following day... that was not that poor girls fault.Behavior like that is uncalled for. PERIOD!reading all these reviews is pretty infuriating considering how stressful I’m sure their jobs are.And that’s coming from some one who’s only there once a month for my medsIt must be said, however that they’re massively understaffed, and wait times can be lengthy
Glad to know Im not the only one who seems to have problems with this pharmacy... They seem to lose prescriptions. Had to go to Schnucks for over the counter medication . Pharmacy people there so much nicer. Walgreens doesnt really care about our experiences or complaints. I see a bunch of one stars for this pharmacy. Dont know how their ratings are so high.
The worst customer service experience ever with their pharmacy. The pharmacist got loud with me, and even at one point questioned me on my medication. Then told me he had to call my doctor to fill my medication now because I made him mad. I have experienced so many issues with them over the years. They have given me my moms medication on accident several times. They take 2 plus weeks to fill my daughters ADHD medication. They lose my doctors orders. Ive had to call my doctor several times to re send the prescriptions. Never again will I step foot in this Walgreens! Also, no one in my family yall either!
The prescription was not ready even after being told it will be ready in 30 min. It was a day after it was filled. Came few hours later and still not ready. Asked if it will be ready in 10 minutes, because I had to leave and was said Yes. But it was not ready even 20 min later. If you do not need a medicine the same day or you like spending your time at Walgreens this place is for you.
Photo taken by this Walgreens was denied by the Passport Agency. I understand I should have correctly verified all the specifications were met, but unfortunately I trusted that they knew what they were doing. I would not recommend this Walgreens for Passport photos. They have someone with a hand camera take the photo, it isnt a machine.
Its a typical Walgreens. Clean and employees are generally friendly and helpful.We havent had any major issues with the pharmacy over the years. The drive though lane is normally empty; I cant recall ever having to wait for more than one car.The parking lot can sometimes seem full due to the gym next door, but Ive always found a spot.I have seen price discrepancies at the register in the past, but seems to be getting better.(This is an issue with Walgreens at-large)
Walgreens seems to generally hire people that would never want to keep the checkout line MOVING. Its a pattern. And their club members commonly enjoy hanging out at the register while they sort out there purchase. Meanwhile the line gets longer and longer.At THIS Walgreens the employees are extra slow and often rude.
This is the worst possible Walgreens pharmacy ever!!! All Walgreens are going down hill and so tired of the poor customer service, slow service, disrespectful associates. Management does nothing to fix the issue and simply add to the issues. I am pulling all of my business and going somewhere else completely over Walgreens!!! And their lack of caring and disrespectful behaviors when all I am trying to do is stay well!!
Called for quote for my dogs medicine. Was quoted $47 for 30, 5m tablets.Dr ended up prescribing 45, 5m tablets ( 1 1/2 per day)Picked up prescription for 45... $111.99! Surprise!
Pharmacy has gone down hill significantly in the last 2 months, always a wait, twice my medicine was for someone elses. The phones lines the worst, they hang up on you after 10 minutes on hold.It has gotten significantly worse at the pharmacy, the staff is rude, they are not trained and I am switching to CVS for my prescriptions,I hope corporate see this and cares.
Bad and unprofessional staff at the photo department. To expensive for the services that Walgreens offer at the photo services department. Should hire more professional staff at this department. Disappointed
On New Years Eve after getting out of the hospital with my daughter who had RSV and an ear infection I went to Walgreens to get her antibiotics filled for the ear infection before we went home. I had to wait for it to be filled because I wasn’t taking my sick daughter back out to pick it up. I didn’t notice initially when paying that they didn’t run it through my insurance because I was preoccupied with getting my sick toddler home. When I got home and settled my daughter I realized I paid 36$ for this amoxicillin and thought to myself...seriously again!?!? That was the FOURTH time that they didn’t run a prescription through her correct insurance! The other three I had caught it at check out because there wasn’t so much going on. Each time they said it was fixed and the current insurance is now listed in the correct order so it won’t happen again...🤔🙄 they got jokes! So when it happened the fourth time and my daughter was sick I didn’t realize until I got home. I immediately called them. Whomever I spoke to said that she ran it through my insurance now (so now Walgreens has been paid twice for this one script...once from me for the total amount of the script and once from my insurance company) and I was owed around 30$. I couldn’t retrieve it then cause they closed in ten min so even if I were to put my daughter back in the car I wouldn’t get up there in time. And of course they were closed the next day. She told me she made a note under the account and I would be refunded the money just come on up. I had attempted to get my return two other times previous to today and they had been closed both times. Then today I finally got lucky enough they were open. I went to the window said I needed a refund for the amount I paid out of pocket because it wasn’t ran through insurance. Told them what I was told that there was a note in the account. She just looked at me like I was stupid with a nasty look on her face and gave me attitude. Started talking about someone named Leanne?!? Well I was not in the mood for such ignorance and unwillingness to help. Here is a tip, if you don’t like getting ignorance and attitude back don’t put it out there in the first place because you’ll get what you give with me!! ESP since this was the fourth time with the same mistake. She asked for the receipt which I didn’t keep because I was told there was a note in my account and it wouldn’t be a problem. I told them there was a note to which she told me “There’s no note” I replied “You wouldn’t know, you didn’t even ask my name or any account information”. Her attitude was so nasty and so flippant she made ZERO effort to look into what I was talking about. Nothing! I was so mad at this point I just drove off. My husband then decided to call up there but I ended up taking over the call when her attitude started with him. They couldn’t find what I was talking about and pissing and moaning about it the whole time (that’s when I found out about the 7 day rule when I was supposed to be on hold but heard everything they were saying...) and were unable to find what I was talking about. Another tip put someone on hold if you’re going to complain piss and moan about doing your job. After arguing for a couple of minutes they transferred me to a manager named Tom. I really wish I knew the persons name that was so incredibly rude, lazy, and unhelpful. Tom asked me for my information to call me back after he investigated the issue but I declined and said I would hold. It took literally TWO MINUTES! That’s it!!! For him to find what happened (that I’d been charged full price AND after the fact my insurance was ran and picked up 30$ of the bill) and what I was owed about 30$. It’s amazing what happens when you actually take someone’s name and look into the issue they’re talking about!!!! Thanks Tom! The pharmacy in general at this Walgreens is so disorganized the staff is substandard at best that I would question getting the correct medication here now. Do not go here.
Best Walgreens Ive been to. May be severely understaff, but each employee works their hardest for each customer.

Every time I fill my familys prescriptions here the SAME lady says she needs my prescription card to process it after I come pick it up EACH time. So I cant just pick up the meds and go, I have to pull up the info on my app (since I dont receive cards). I always ask her if she can just pull it up in the system like the other locations do and she says no which is a lie or she doesnt know what shes doing. She also has a pretty poor attitude. Theyll also wait until you pick up your prescription to tell you they dont have it. They should either look it up first before you drive off or give you a curtesy call.
Very poor and unprofessional service at the photo department, the pharmacy don’t know what they’re doing. I ran out of my pain meds so my doctor prescribed me a refill so the one I was given first was prescribed by the Hospital since I Had a baby by c-section and the second by my regular doctor and because it was a different doctor they wanted to have the authorization and confirm the prescription in the meantime I was in pain from my C-section on top of that the prescription was drop off at 3pm so when I got there was close to 10pm the lady said we don’t even have time to get in touch with the doctors cause the pharmacy is about to closed for the holiday. Long story short I went to another 24 hrs Walgreens and my meds were ready in 10 min.Never got a courtesy call and the lady dare to hand wrote on the prescription meds cannot be given doctor and put the date when they would possibly be given.
I live in the affton area and this is by far the best walgreens i have been to. Very nice people!
Worst experience Ive ever had at a pharmacy. It took 15 minutes for the lady to acknowledge me.. I plan on changing locations ASAP.

You could tell they were understaffed. No wonder, the managers pick favorites and they degrade you. Not what they say, more of how they say it. Do not work here, do not shop here.
