I understand that COVID has impacted delivery of items but at least have great customer service and keep your customer informed. Ordered a refrigerator back in May. Was given one delivery date after another, and only after calling to check on the status. Just canceled the order since it still is not in stock. I was always calling to find out the status. Oh yeah, I paid for the refrigerator back in May when I placed the order. Will never shop at WDC again. There are other stores around

Kirk at the Agoura store, assisted us in our purchase of a GE front load washer and dryer. He was knowledgeable and his follow up was amazing, making sure the delivery was scheduled and I was informed of the time. We had previously had a terrible experience with another store to buy the same set and waited 12 weeks - never to receive the units.Kirk’s Follow up and customer service was very much appreciated and hard to find these days! I would definitely recommend shopping at WDC in Agoura.

We purchased a Thermador hood and the fan makes a lot of noise. We called the customer care and they sent a technician that didn’t check the system but told us that he needs to bring another motor. He scheduled a return visit after 3 weeks between 8 to 11. He never showed up at that time. We called customer care and they promised that he will come until 3 pm. We waited the whole day and no one came or called. I tried to call few times customer care at Agoura store and she never returned our phone calls.

We ordered an over the range microwave and were told it would be installed two days later. WDC microwave but the installer never came. They called one tome to tell us the day they’d be here, but they never came or called. We also never got a call for the next several days. WDC delivered the microwave on time but uses an outside installation company which, in my opinion is incompetent. I would not have ordered the microwave if they had not promised immediate installation. I then cancelled the order and had them pick up the microwave. I had bought several appliances from WDC over the years with decent service but their service has deteriorated greatly. I will not buy from them again.

I ordered a Miele wine cooler. We looked at 3 high-end units at WDC and the Miele was marked down from $8,300 to $4,999. One only, store model. I tried to buy the display unit. After some hoccus poccus on his computer he said the total was $10,800. Being an accountant my curiosity was peeked at how the price more than doubled.He said I needed to order the stainless steel panel (door) and since I inquired about the display shelves, he added it into the package.I explained that I wanted the floor display with the glass framed door. Back to the magic computer. The new price was $5,300 (the $4,999 plus tax and delivery). I called to request delivery later that week. Shortly thereafter I received a call telling me that the glass door belonged to Miele and they were prohibited from selling the door. Once again I was told I could buy the stainless steel optional door or build my own. Whoever heard of a wine cooler sold without a door?I felt like I was “baited and switched.” Just had a bad feeling. So I went to Costco.com and ordered a larger wine cooler for less than half the price. At least I know Costco stands behind their products 100%. I don’t believe WDC would do the same. I’m fact when I asked for the Miele reps phone number because I wanted to hear it directly from Miele, the WDC sales clerk texted me his cell number. Just had a bad feeling.

If you want to get ripped off by people who take your money, don’t deliver what you ordered and then make excuses and lie, then deal with this company at your own risk. The worst customer service me the poorest knowledge to boot. Unprofessional idiots would be putting it mildly. DO NOT BUY FROM WDC. RUN!!!!

I had the misfortune of dealing with Carrie. She messed up my order so badly that it cost me a small fortune to rectify. I ordered two ovens she only put one on the order. She then failed to tell me about it until I needed delivery. She then went on to tell me that it would take six months to get the oven that she forgot to put on the order. She did the same thing with a freezer and then finally delivered the incorrect one to me. WDC took my money and it’s 6 months later and I still don’t have what I ordered. They’re taking no responsibility. Pathetic excuse for a company!

Bought my microwave from Warehouse Discount in Agoura Hills a few years ago. It recently quit heating but sounded normal. I went in to buy another one and they called All Brand Service for me. I cant believe they talked me out of buying a new one because All Brand could fix it. Saved me a lot of money, time and energy. Thank you!

I bought a microwave (excellent) cooktop (excellent) and 30 wall oven to install in place of my existing stand alone range because for my new kitchen l wanted that built in look. I asked for a gas oven, but my sales lady Carrie told me they did not make 30 gas ovens, only electric, but not to worry, they plug into the wall outlet. I took her word for it, finished my kitchen, wanted to install my appliances, and was shocked to find out that, no, it doesnt plug in to normal wall outlet, it needs a whole other 220 circuit to be run at a cost of over $1000! She knew what l was replacing. She should have informed me. I told her l was on a tight budget. I am livid and they are not returning my calls. I told them l would pay a restocking fee if only they would buy my oven back. This whole thing is very distressing.

Just the facts: We have been buying from WDC since 1996. Right now every appliance in our home except the dishwasher came from them as well as a vanity and other items. Never had a problem… until we got a delivery of a very basic GE dryer 12/31/20 that their staff set up. It never worked right, after 2 weeks and six ½ to ¾ loads. Half loads on more dry take 90+ min ¾ loads over 2 hours and once would not shut off, I called WDC as that is who I paid and asked to get a new dryer even at a higher cost.They said I would have to schedule a service first, I protested as IT IS A NEW DRYER why should it need service but I agreed. The service company told me GE will only send out service people they will not take anything back. I called GE and was told the same in a round about way. Service guy came, said the set up by WDC was not right and moved the dryer to better align with the exhaust. I know that was not the issue but he insisted. He left we put in 1 set of CA King bed sheets it took 95 min to dry. Should take no more than 45 min.Called WDC customer service to ask again for a new machine. Ashley said she would check with her boss. Called back and said GE stated it is working properly and all I can do is call them. I guess GE knows what is happening in my home. In short WDC will not stand behind what they sell.BUT THERE is more. I needed a service call from SoCal Gas today for another issue. I asked them to check the gas hook up WDC staff connected. They documented a small leak that they wrote was caused by mismatched fittings used in the hook up. SCG fixed it and I will be charged $60 bucks. I called Ashley and the sales guy Paul today left them a VM informing them not only are they failing to stand behind what they sell their installation people are cutting corners with GAS HOOK UPS and I will be calling my city building people Monday.We are in our late sixties the last thing I want is to have service people coming in and out of our home to fix a defective $700 dryer. WDC should be ashamed to treat anyone like this much less people that have been buying from them for over 20 years. Note to the spinners at WDC that may reply with the usual double talk… do not bother. Instead do the right thing and be responsible for your defective machine and dangerous installations.

Buyer Beware!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! I spent a substantial amount of money at WDC on a new Maytag Bravos washer and dryer. I specifically wanted a matching set. The washer, although didnt clean the clothes properly, wasnt the main issue! The dryer hummed SO loud that it could be heard at every corner of my condo, not allowing me to read, or watch TV, no matter where I was when it was on. Im a teacher and couldnt even Zoom with my kids in the dining room, with the machine on, because the humming noise was loudly interfering with my lesson. Mind you, Im 67, have had several dryers in my lifetime, but not one of them made a loud humming noise like this one. Everyone who has comes over cant believe the noise... even my downstairs neighbor can hear it!!! I called WDC immediately and they have given me the runaround! Their customer service stinks!!! They refuse to stand by the defective product and DO NOT care about the customer. If its awful, youre stuck with it and cant exchange it for something thats not defective. They send out bogus, unprofessional people from the a repair shop representing the manufacturer, that pass it off as fine!!! One technician that came out, stayed for 5 minutes and never opened or looked in the dryer!!! ITS NOT FINE, its NOT NORMAL! Its DEFECTIVE!!! Ive called countless times, and they dont return calls when they say they will. The manager Mo, didnt even want to get on the phone with me, but when I threatened a bad Yelp review and legal ramifications, he finally did. Management is not his forte! Instead of making it right for the customer, they try to pass it off to the manufacturer, who is no better! I called WDC immediately upon receiving, but after countless calls, and much anguish, their attitude is sorry theres nothing we can do! You paid for it, now be miserable and be stuck with it! I saw countless reviews on Google where legitimately unhappy customers were allowed to make exchanges at OTHER stores! Please beware, if theres a problem, they pass the buck, ignore you and dont care about you and how distraught you are! I bought several appliances at Fergusons, who are great!!! Customer service, or lack thereof, says a lot about a company!!! They rate a 0 in customer service, professionalism, concern for the customer and most importantly, ethics!

I was told over the phone that I was buying a silent LG washer and dryer for $1,700. What showed up is very loud and shakes when it operates. After seeing a video of it, WDCs customer service assured me that it should not be shaking. Months later, they sent out an LG repair technician who told me that this unit is never silent and that I was simply misled by the salesperson.After learning this, customer service at WDC changed their tone completely and told me to sell the unit used.

Buyer beware. Renovating my bathroom, so I purchased dependable Moen products, spent thousands of dollars with WDC in Westlake and they cant deliver or keep their commitments. My contractor has been held up for weeks, I dont get return calls, and there is never a manager available to escalate to or help. They wont drop ship and the warehouse in Moorpark doesnt speak with customers directly. The only person who took my call was sales or sales support - who I guess is running this business. Feeling helpless and trapped! I shopped here to keep my business local and for Peace of Mind - huge mistake. I found the exact shower fixture from Amazon, cheaper and it was shipped overnight directly to my contractor.

It was such an odd experience. My wife and I were remodeling our home and were recommended WDC from our contractor. This would be the second time we were purchasing high-end appliances so we knew what we wanted. We picked them out, ordered them, etc. Pretty normal.However, I do not think WDC takes any responsibility for their installers, which is kind of a big deal as that is where the rubber meets the road. They also seemed to have taken a kick-the-can/used-car-salesmen approach to handling my calls and complaints about the installation. Heres what happened:The initial installation group botched the job a bit. Here is an example.Our contractor had to step in and explain a counter-depth fridge is not supposed to be sticking out of the cabinets 2-3 and it should also be level with the ground and cabinetry. The installers said, All these fridges are supposed to stick out a few inches. That couldnt be further from the truth and showed either a lack of care or competence. Stuff like that, AKA the basics. Ok, no big deal. Lets get a competent crew out to fix it. WDC sent installer #2 and from outward appearances he seemed to fix the issues. However, the hood still didnt work. It appeared to be the motor. Ok, that happens. Lets get it corrected. All these appliances are new so not big deal, right?Heres where it got odd. WDC orders a motor and its supposed to be installed the next week although no time was provided. We were then told early the next week. Then on Monday that next week told Thursday/Friday. Then on Thursday/Friday their installers were booked. I called WDC to inquire and express some frustration, but was yessed off. You know how it sounds. Uh yes, yes, really sorry about that. Were working on it. Um, yes yes. Its what you say when you hope the problem goes away on its own and you dont want any responsibility or accountability.Well, it did not. Monday two weeks later comes and nothing for most of the day. Then Monday evening around 6PM the installer calls asking if the next day, Tuesday, works. They schedule a window between 10AM and noon. 2:30PM on Tuesday comes around and the installers phone is disconnected and no word. Finally around 4PM they show up to install a new motor/blower in the hood. Thank goodness I happened to be home four hours after their agreed-to window. It still does not work and they are stating the hood has no power. It does have power but the previous installer disconnected some cables. Our contractor swings by and explains this to them and they see where the wires were disconnected. However, upon reconnecting the cables it still does not work. This third installation group, which is all part of the same contracted company with WDC, says there is nothing more they can do and I have to call WDC. Great.I call WDC and cannot get a hold of a manager or anyone I previously spoke with. Ill refrain from using names. Im told by a receptionist I would be contacted in the next couple of days by a manager. Meanwhile the hood just sits and I have no clue what is to come next. Three weeks after installation it still does not work.Not sure if this is a WDC cultural issue or not, but feels like for the expense and quality of the appliances, the customer service should match. The inability to recognize their installers are an extension of their brand is hard to grasp. The inability to demonstrate strong client empathy and own the problem shows a lack of training and do-it-right mentality. Ill stop this review now. Not worth kicking a dead horse.Oh, only reason Im not given them a one star is I think two star reviews capture the eye more and are more likely to be read. Its like, What made the experience poor enough but just ok enough to provide a two-star review vs. a one-star review? Its really a one-star review, but I hope the two stars gets more readership.

We are remodeling our 2 bathrooms and kitchen, among other things and we bought all of our kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, toilets, sinks, tub, tub filler, rain shower head/handheld wand, knobs and a bunch of other stuff there and had a great experience every single time. Lynn, upstairs is super knowledgeable and sweet. She accommodated us in every way. We feel like she is our friend. Super nice lady and we enjoyed the time we spent with her!

Whats more important to me is service after the sale. They provide the help that I need plus some. YUCK!!! The Slime factor is extremely high here!! They are on commission and it shows. You walk in the door and someone latches on to you and follows you around the store. Touch something and someone starts to tell you how great it is. I was just looking at it.The kicker was in March a sales person told us about a deal that was running. We could lock in the deal now by buying the appliances and then change which appliances we wanted later. When we asked how long the deal was running for, if we did not give them our money. She said it was running till the end of the year. You mean 9 months from then. We could not get out of the store fast enough after that.

WDC is terrible at follow up. We ordered a dishwasher and a Washer and Dryer. Both got delayed in shipping. The followup was non-existent. We ended up canceling the dishwasher and have not been able to get a refund. This company doesnt care about its customers - they only care about making the sale and will say and do anything to make the sale. Marty was our con-man sales person that seemed so great at first. Once a problem existed, he couldnt do anything but hide. Christie, the receptionist, is rude and fast to disconnect you.THE REFUND - impossible to get. they give you the run-around making you call the corporate office. Then the corporate office tells you to call the local office. This is only after you finally get a hold of someone. Theyre always in a conference. Youll get much better treatment at a big box store. WDC is nothing but a Sales organization with sleazy sales people promising the world and failing at every step of the way. Its been almost 2 weeks and we still dont have the refund.

Our salesperson knew his product but that is where our service stopped. Once we made our purchase we could not get a return phone call from our salesperson. We then requested a manager (after waiting 3 days for a return call) and were assisted immediately. Thinking all is well we then had our appliance installed and discovered the installation had a minor issue. Called the installation dispatch group and was told an installer in our area would stop by the day I called. Not only a “no show“ but when I called the next 2 days and left a message once again no return phone calls.

This store wont make it right if you have a problem. Shop elsewhere if you want customer service. Brand new dishwasher and installer wouldnt install it, then Lloyds did, now it doesnt work and they refuse a return or exchange, instead forcing us to go through an assessment and repair/replace process with the manufacturer. We are washing dishes by hand for a week, spent an additional $300 for install and the decision maker refuses to talk to me about what we can do to work together to make it right. Dont buy stuff here.

Great sales team - super knowledgeable. The issues for me came in with delivery. We had products in a warehouse for months waiting for our home under construction to be ready for installation. On installation, lo and behold, there was no hood for the range. After several phone calls where we were told it would be available 3 months from now, they found a range. Their installation team is not great. We had to call thermidor to repair every single appliance they installed. Unreal.

I had problems with a new LG refrigerator from the moment it was installed; I called Warehouse Discount Center a few days after installation to say the ice maker was not working, and they referred me to the LG customer support phone number. While I agree this would be appropriate for a unit that was 6 months old, not a brand new one! I complained and was told a technician would come out fromm the store, but was called again within a few days and told to call LG. I have a dishwasher ordered from them and am considering cancellation of the order. So much for shopping local. This was my fourth or fifth appliance bought from this store, and I expected better customer service. for my loyalty.

Spent over $5000 on new appliances. Original delivery date was set a few weeks out, and missed with absolutely no communication. On calling told the item was on back order with Viking - I called them and they told me the item is no longer sold and couldnt have been ordered. Tried calling Warehouse Discount Center back and they told me the item is on back order and will be delivered eventually. I have no faith that this is going to happen - it doesnt seem like WDC is monitoring the order at all.

ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE. These guys are just order takers. Better to order it online. They refuse to help you after the sale. He said unit was damaged likely in transit and needed to be replaced.He spoke with WDC who promised me a call back.After a few hours no call back. I called and and have details of complaint.Have been promised call back from Manager, still not happened.Many phone calls and voice mails have led to this point.If you like making phone calls going on hold for 15 minutes then eventually get a promise of call back WDC is for you.If not go to Best Buy or somewhere where prices are pretty much the sameMichael Mills

I bought a Bosch dishwasher from WDC, after few days my wife found out the door is not closing even and when pushed the dishwasher sound reduced considerably, we called WDC and they sent their technician and he confirmed the dishwasher door is not closing properly, since there was one year manufacturer warranty we had to call Bosch, they sent their technician and he said there are too many parts need to be changed, he said he will report back to Bosch. After few days we followed up with Bosch and talked to their customer service supervisor and asked for replacing defected dishwasher, she said she does not have the authority to change the dishwasher but can elevate our case to management and asked us to call back in couples of days for result! we did so and were told management decided to repair the defected dishwasher and did not agree to exchange with another. I was very angry and disappointed on how our case was handled. I called WDC and talked to Josh ( Customer Service Manager) and explain my dissatisfaction and disappointment, he apologized and told us will get back to us in 24 hours. Next day he called back and told us new dishwasher is in its way to replace the defected one! Thank you Josh for caring about your customers and hearing out their problems and shame on Bosch on being so insensitive to consumers. I will purchase appliances again from WDC but will make sure it is not a Bosch!!

We would really like to have the promise addressed right of way as it had been pending for a while. We addressed the issue to MO, since thesalesperson is no longer working at WDC Burbank. Mo was amazingly patient listening to us to decipher the issue and answering our questions. He put in extra effort working with us to resolve the issue by keeping our best interests in mind. To honor the promises we received without against company policy, he provided us with different possible alternatives. At the end not only were we very happy with receiving what weve promised for, but we also were so pleased with the new purchase of the additional appliances that we had been looking for.With our sincere gratitude and appreciation thank you so much Mo for all your patient, truthfulness, professionalism and great help. If you are here reading reviews because you are replacing a high-end appliance or are going to be remodeling a bathroom or a kitchen, please read the negative reviews and take them seriously. It is absolutely true that if they sell you an item, and youve contracted with them to deliver and install this item -- AND IT DOES NOT FIT -- you are stuck with it! These people see you as a customer when they are taking your money and as a persona non grata when you need to return an item. They did this with me. They sold me an expensive plumbing item (I was going through a kitchen remodel) and my plumber, hired by the well-known kitchen and bath remodeling company I contracted with, told me what they sold me didnt fit. He even wrote it on the box. He had to go out and get the right replacement. When I tried to return this item, I was told by the salesman (not a plumber!) that the plumber should have called me. Really? You, sir are a salesman. My experienced PLUMBER was supposed to get on the phone and argue with a SALESMAN? Also, they DO push certain appliances. I live in a townhouse. They tried desperately to sell me a Thermador refrigerator...for a townhouse kitchen! If I had bought that nearly $7,000 item, and they unboxed it, and couldnt get it in the door, I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH IT! And by the way, I asked three times Dont you have the GE Monogram refrigerator? Twice they told me No. The third time, I was shown the item that they had on their showroom floor. Anyway, I am stuck with over $500 of items that they sold me that I should never have bought in the first place. And these were items that were to go on appliances I bought from them. They should have known better. At the very least, they should have cared. I spent thousands in that store. The manager will call you to discuss this. Thats what I was told as they pushed these items back at me. Well, its been three weeks or more and the manager either doesnt have the courage to talk to me or just doesnt give a damn. And if this is a family owned business, all I can say is that thank God we arent related!!

Beware! Beware! Beware! I am a Veterinarian and I have used Warehouse Discount Center for my home and my business many times for 20 + years. I recently purchased a double wall oven, from the WDC in Agoura Hills, CA, to fit into an existing cabinet after a remodel and the subsequent failure of my existing oven. I brought in very specific measurements for the existing oven, both interior and exterior. I brought the model number and serial number of the existing ovens and very specifically asked that the unit we buy has to be plug and play because the cabinets and the antique glaze finish was very expensive. I was assured by Paul Durfee (salesman) that this unit would work after he reviewed the specifications for my existing unit on-line. When the unit was delivered, two installers were present. The installer inside the house was measuring the cabinet and the one outside was opening the box the ovens were in. The installer inside the house let us know that the oven would not fit in the existing cabinet and they would have to cut the cabinet with a Saws-all and that we would need an electrician to move the plug from the bottom to the top of the cabinet. Surely not plug and play. We refused the ovens that we were promised would fit. We were told that because the box was opened (by their installers outside of my home in my driveway!) that they would incur significant losses on this unit.Please, please learn from my experience!! If I am a loyal customer for over 20 years and if I am treated this way, how is anyone expected to get any kind of resolution from even a minor dispute with this company??I was charged $699.99 for a restocking fee (let that sink in before you buy) for the unit they told me would fit, that did not! I was referred to speak with John Frailties at WDC, Agoura Hills, CA and the answer was repeatedly no. Please let that sink in......$699.99 restocking fee for a unit that cost $2,799. That is not just absurd, it is PUNITIVE and I was assured the unit would fit!!I used my AMEX card for this purchase and it may be my only line of recourse. Be sure not to pay cash.Be sure to look at reviews on-line for WDC. I wish I had.We eventually purchased from Pacific Sales which was a great experience
