Super impressed with the expertise and attention to detail this bicycle shop provided. A new bike purchase is as simple as buying a new pair of socks for some us and it is a large investment with others. The staff recognized this was a large investment for me and took every measure to ensure I was comfortable walking out of the door with my new ride. I am grateful and highly recommend them. Manager definitely knows his bike information. Love all the quality products and fair prices for all the services. They also pointed out how my bike may break before letting me out and explained why. The staff was very insightful.

Very down-to-earth, knowledgeable and never pushy. They did extra work on a bike that I had purchased somewhere else. They also do things very efficiently and efficiently and there is almost never a wait. They have a nice selection of bikes for sale as well.

Great for repairs but this isnt a place for the casual biker. They cater to a more high end audience. Most of their bicycle inventory is over 1000 dollars. However they are very knowledgeable and great for repairing anything wrong with your bike.

I have visited this shop a few times and have had consistently excellent service. Today, I called needing a bit of advice on a used bike that I purchased from my coach. Though Serious Cycling wasnt involved in the bike purchase whatsoever, Brian took a few minutes to listen to my issue and provided excellent advice that solved my issue. This experience mirrors my time spent at the shop, where Ive rented from their excellent Pinarello rental bikes while traveling in the area. Their staff took the time to fit the bike properly to me, and provided ride suggestions in the hills west of the shop. Thank you, guys!

Ive often seen this shop as I drive by, and having made the decision to start cycling I thought to offer them my patronage first.Serious Cycling provided me with a first rate aristocratic experience. I was laughed at by the staff when I revealed that I wanted to buy a new bike and my budget was around $500. From a sales point of view this seems like a layup: someone walks into your store and says I want to spend $500 and Im not sure exactly what I want? Help them find something that works for $500! Instead of even attempting to work with me or find something in my price range they took their time to explain to me why I was stupid for assuming I could have anything except a childrens huffy for such a price. Of the two male workers I spoke two neither was able to get their tone away from what Id describe as extremely condescending. The conclusion of my visit was them essentially telling me to go away and come back when I have more money.BUT due to the other reviews Ive read Im sure theyre lovely to you if youre an experienced rider with lots of money! For the rest of us, Id run far, far away.Due to the way I was treated I specifically took my business elsewhere (you think Im going to sit here and convince you that I can afford a hybrid for $500?), have told friends (to find out several [2] have had similar experiences), and, even though this bike shop is the closest to my house, am specifically going elsewhere for any and all cycling related needs.Note: the laugh was more of a scoff from one worker while the other buried his face in his hands shaking his headAlso Note: Sorry for such an abysmal review but you cant treat potential customers with such disdain and expect your business to thrive for it

Great Shop. Super knowledgeable. I dont live in the area but Im always happy to make the commute. Everyone at Serious Cycling is well educated on their products and always advise according to fit and suitability, rather than what will make the highest sale.Bryan has helped me several times. Hes always great to work with. Highly recommended!

These guys are the best! Super creative, fairly priced and quick repairs, they will NOT rip you off like some other shops, every person in there really knows their stuff forwards and backwards, great bike selection too mostly specialized for mtn bikes.

I have been all over Canada and United States, and I have never been treated so good as I got at Serious Cycling.I was down from Canada doing some spring training in the Santa Monica Mountains, and had a few problems with my bike, and knee and ankle pain. Once I got to Serious Cycling, they were able to get me in fast and fix my bike right away. Then put me and my bike on a trainer, then spent a far bet of time looking and taking measurements of my biking style; and was able to fix my style and gave me some excellent tips for free.Also their shop had an excellent selection of bikes and equipment, which a lot I dont see back home.

Serious Cycling is the best cycling shop in the conejo valley area. Ive been to a lot of shops and this one stands for some very simple yet very important reasons. Im actually acknowledged by the people working there, guys actually stop what they are doing to see if I am finding everything alright. Ive been to other stores in town and I literally felt like I was invisible, not here. Im must say as a local business owner, I believe customer service is a must and these gentlemen have it. I was also fitted to my bike professionally here by Brian and he did an outstanding job, the power that I now have on my bike is all because of what he did. Thanks for everything! This place is worth it, where ever you live.

I was biking the Pacific Coast and my wheel became horribly misaligned. It was 540pm on a Thursday night. My girlfriend and I rented a UHaul and drove over from Malibu, CA. We got to the bike shop around 650pm, right before they closed. The guys in the shop were willing to stay a little late and true my wheel. They were extremely friendly, very helpful, and didnt seem to mind at all that I was stopping by right before closing. I highly recommend these guys!!!!!!!

It was truly an unpleasant experience to deal with the owner.Im not interested in being patronised or made to feel uncomfortable.There are plenty of bike shops that greet you with a smile and are eager to have your business.

I have been riding a 26 inch single speed Bianchi Sass and finally decided to by a new 29 inch single speed. During all my research I kept wanted to get my bike fitted and get some ideas on what the best size frame I should get. Serious Cycling helped me decide the right size and gave me some ideas on what single speeds where out there to research. I was so happy with all their help I wanted to see what kind of deal they could get me when I decided. I did spend about $20.00 more for what I wanted in a bike compared to my research on the internet. My logic was clear if I got the bike with Serious Cycling they could help me with everything. I found a Surly Karate Monkey and got it fully loaded. They helped me do the calculation for my gearing to go from the 26 inch single to the 29 inch single. Well I knew what the math was by my search of the internet but they confirmed everything was correct. I upgraded my brakes to hydraulic, added a Thud Buster seat post for some suspension. They fitted the bike for me and well all I can say is Ride More.... Serious Cycling is serious about what they do. Thanks to Brian, Justin and all the others who helped with my bike.
