Accel had the best prices in the area; we ordered marquee tents, a couple tables and the bamboo wedding altar from them. They arrived on time and set everything up quickly. I didnt do any close inspections of the items but I didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. We had our own lights and they did want to charge us the same price to hang them up as if we rented lights from them which would have been about $400, just to hang lights up.

Accel Maui did not deliver my rentals even though I confirm day before and early in the morning I had a credit from another event and so far no one contact me for reibursement. Dont take my word for it, look at the messages at 2pm maui sale representative states their crew could not make it, event starts at 4pmLook somewhere else, or you never know if they will deliver your rentals. No Aloha :(

The deliver men dropped off and picked up the rentals late. Both times we had to contact them to figure out what was going on. The drop off was a half hour late, the pick up was an hour late. Each time it was because of traffic. The dishes, silverware and glassware were all fine, but we got more than we ordered which I was later told was a standard thing they did, but that just served to confuse me. The chairs and wedding arch I ordered had definitely seen better days, I felt that I was cheated from the beautiful rentals I saw in the pictures. The most frustrating thing is that prior to leaving, they failed to check in with their primary contact on the property to verify that the arch was where it needed to be. They just disappeared. We had to call them back to assist with moving it as it was staked into the ground. The initial communication when I first started corresponding with this business was very easy, I was really disappointed that it was suddenly difficult to get results when they actually arrived.

Great business to use. We rented several items for a destination wedding. India was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Prices are fair. The guys in the warehouse are helpful and friendly. Great place to rent items.

We looked at a number of different vendors and decided on Accel because of the great things weve heard about them. Heather was so great to work with over the last months and she and her team were so top notch setting up the tents, tables, and chairs etc. at the wedding and breaking down. We couldnt be happier with the service they provided and they were so prompt and courteous! Thank you Heather and your team for making our day so special! Holes in tents! Beware, guests got wet. Didn’t provide all items that were paid for on the invoice. Lack of responsibility from office personnel. Overall, if it’s possible, use a different company. The price charged and the level of customer service they provide are not equal. You will be dissatisfied.

Accel party rentals was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning and execution of my October 11th wedding in Laie, Hawaii. Throughout the yearlong process of planning a DIY wedding in the backyard/beach of a house in the North Shore, you can imagine all of the updates and changes and additions to our order that we placed with Accel. They were SO understanding and flexible right up until the day before the wedding, when we made a last-minute addition of three tents for the backyard because of the growing chance of rain. And I am SO THANKFUL we did. Accel had them up well before the rains came through and completely saved my ceremony and reception.The gentlemen that showed up on the days to set up and break down the rentals were incredibly professional and very hardworking. They were very polite and easy to work with. They completely transformed the backyard of the house, into a romantic garden…complete with lights, a gorgeous dance floor and elegant white tents.Jamiee, Ashley and Kim were awesome to work with. They were very responsive to my dozens of emails and phone calls with never-ending questions. I don’t think it ever took them longer than a few hours to get back to me with an answer. And their military discount HAS to be the best on the island. It saved me hundreds of dollars and I love that I was able to use a company that supports the armed forces the way they do.I was so calm the morning of my wedding, knowing they were setting up for my big day. I promise to follow up to this review as soon as I have some photos back from my photographer. Because words on a online review simply do not do their work proper justice. I highly recommend Accel for any of your special events on island and I won’t hesitate to hire them again if I have another occasion for rentals.

Accel Party and Design were a great company to deal with and very professional. Planning a wedding in Hawaii from Australia was very stressful at time but Heather from Accel made this side of things very easy. All the equipment arrived on time and the set up crew knew exactly what they were doing. When we asked for last minute changes, Accel were very proactive in making sure these happened without making any issues. Almost ruined our wedding.We hired Accel to provide the tables, chairs, linens and bamboo archway for our wedding. Fairly simple no? They were scheduled to show up at 9am on the morning of the event and get everything set up. They arrived on time and got to work. I was running errands around town and when I arrived at the house at 10:30, they had set up 4 tables (no linens) and were fumbling with the bamboo archway which was MUCH smaller than it was supposed to be. The two guys there, while friendly, had no idea what they were doing. The ceremony was set to start at 3:30pm so I figured that even if they were slow, they would be able to figure it out in time for the wedding.I was wrong. They never asked any questions and never stated that they would be putting rebar posts into the grass. In fact, they told us that the arch would be movable. They put a post through a water main, causing a HUGE flood, and forcing us to move the site of the wedding to a less spectacular location.They caused a HUGE negative impact on our wedding and the ceremony. My wife had to be lifted up a 3 foot rock wall when walking down because the only access to the grass was completely flooded and would have ruined her dress. Nobody from the company apologized to us. I did not give them the check for the remainder of our balance so they autodrafted it from our credit card without our prior approval. I still have not heard an apology from the company or ANY kind of response.If you choose Accel party rentals for your wedding or event, please be prepared for the possibility of having to make MAJOR changes to your plans and the possibility of your event being ruined. If you value your event (once in a lifetime, ie. wedding) you would be better served choosing another rental company.

They were very high touch accommodated my every need and want. They went over and beyond my expectations. If they didnt have an item they made sure they got it. The boss Scott was very knowledgeable, has alot of patience, I just cant say a negative word againt them. I would use ACCEL PARTY RENTALS again in a heart beat. And I do give alot of people their number. Thank you for making our day a PEACFUL and JOYFUL time in our lives we could of never done it without you. MAHALO

Did not pick up for FOUR days. Food/dishes/etc. sat in my drive with zero communication from the company. Not impressed.

It was fantastic and the people there are very helpful.
