We went there because we wanted our cabinets and countertop replaced and thought that they took us seriously. They did not. We were sent some pictures of what it could look like a week after the measurements wer taken and the a week later an extremely high quote. When asked for a breakdown dead silence.

They help me from making my first choice as highly questionable pick. The only concern was the grain did not match at the seam. On a very positive note its much better than building supply stores

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to this business to get countertops and a backsplash for my kitchen back in December. After picking out my material, I paid my 50% down. A person came in January to create a laser template. I was very specific with this man on how I wanted the veins to be, how I wanted the seams as tight and hidden as possible. My kitchen is not large. I also let him know that I had ordered a bridged antique brass faucet that I wanted to showcase. I told him and Christina that. Installation day is February 11th. My Dad is there because he is retired and I work. The men installing the countertop bring in a sink that requires the faucet to be mounted to the far right of the sink. With my faucet, there is no way the water would have reached the left basin. This was NEVER something we discussed. However, the stone was already cut to accommodate this strange sink. When my Dad called me to ask me if this was alright, saying that they would knock off the price of the sink, I said no, that is not what I asked for. The installers were angry at us. Christina forgot to order my sink. She told my dad and me this. She said I dropped the ball, and I apologize. That did not change the fact that I had no kitchen, no water, and was told that they could get to us 8 days later. Ok, so I go 8 days with a non-functional kitchen. When they show up, they tried to cut corners by trying to salvage as much of the original stone as possible, cutting from a second piece that was MUCH darker and had veins that did not match. They tried to piece together the two mismatched counters. When my dad said no, those do not match, Frank, the lead installer with 31 years experience said to my dad, YOURE WASTING MY TIME. This is after they dont order my sink, make me wait 8 days with no kitchen, and try to piece together mismatched stones. Frank became angry and ripped out the original stone piece, tearing a huge hole in my sheet rock. Fast forward ANOTHER 5 days, the installers come in, and put my countertops together, large seam right in the middle of the countertop and two large cracks in front of where the sink goes. But wait a minute, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE TOOLS TO CUT THE HOLES FOR THE FAUCET. So when they come back the following day, the holes are cut, causing MORE cracks throughout the counter. I was actually told by Christina that my expectations were too high. Throughout the entire process, once things went south, I repeatedly asked Christina for Chris Hilderbrands number, or for him to call me. I was told he basically had nothing to do with the business anymore and passed it off to someone in the office. So, when it was finally finished, after I went THREE WEEKS with no kitchen, no one called me to ask if I was satisfied, apologize for making a single mother, front-line healthcare worker go without a working kitchen. It was unnecessary. They failed on their end. I hope that anyone who reads this practices caution when dealing with this company. Their stone is beautiful, but the office is incompetent and the craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. I would NEVER come back here, nor would I ever recommend this business to anyone. If you read this Chris, you should have called me and gotten my side of the story, sir. You should run your business better.

Disappointing would be an understatement.I came into the store to purchase a couple granite remnant pieces, I was told to sign a paper with my personal information and then I would be helped. I politely declined thinking it was for a salesman, and was told that I would not receive service without filling out this Covid 19 reporting form.This form is a violation of the 4th amendment, the 1974 privacy act, HIPPA as well as a R.I.C.O violation.

Outstanding from start to finish. They helped us design our kitchen. They kept us informed at every step of the way. They were punctual and professional. They worked with us through our problems with other vendors in receiving our appliances. We are over the moon with the finished product! I highly recommend this company.

Was recommended to these people from the person who built my cabinets. They fit me in on different schedules to get me my counters ASAP. They called me the day before each time. Communication was GREAT the whole time! I’m very happy with the service I received.

We just had two bathroom counter tops installed and could not be more pleased. From the first day I visited the store right through to the installation, everything was done very professionally. The office staff was great and the Installers were top notch. Definitely a 5 STAR operation!!!

The service at Affordable Quality Marble and Granite is outstanding, both with respect to finding the product you are really looking for and the fabrication of the countertops. I chose quartz because of the subtle colors and its durability. Affordable provided web-site information so I could review slabs and then promptly had the one we selected shipped to Aiken. This material is a little difficult to cut compared to granite but the finish is beautiful and the fit is perfect. The join is invisible! I would highly recommend this company. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and are experts in their business. The value for money is great.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and employed Affordable Marble and Granite to select/install new quartz and porcelain countertops plus backsplash. Service was outstanding with Kim helping us pick out the perfect counters and Frank installing them to perfection. The folks at Affordable made our home project stress free and fun.

Customer service needs serious help.1.) There were pictures taken when I walked out of the room without my permission or consent. It wasn’t until later that I was told “oh I got pictures.” That I was even made aware they were taken. I’d like a little heads up if I’m going to let you in my home and you’re going to whip out a camera.2.) The only reason the pictures came up was because we had a moment of sink drama. They wanted me to find someone to take it out and re-install it as I have a 1950’s farm sink. Thankfully my husband was able to take it out and their install guys put it back easily. They didn’t want to deal with it because I was adamant about it not getting broken and they couldn’t guarantee that.3.) It took over a month for instillation. The minute I wrote the check the attitude changed. It went from “happy to help you” to “you’re such a bother.” Once they have the biggest chunk of your money, which is the down payment, they really couldn’t care less.4.) The person who schedules the template measurements and installation is the WORST! She called to give me a date and time frame. I wrote it on my calendar in permanent marker and scheduled around it. Then she called closer to the date and gave me a different time frame. I whited out the original time frame and thanked her for confirming because I had apparently written it down wrong. I then planned my day around the new time frame. She called the day before and switched it to the original time frame! I had made appointments around this and when I tried to explain what had happened, I got a heavy sigh and was treated like I was the one who made the mistake. So frustrating and infuriating.5.) The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the installation team and product was absolutely amazing. They were in and out and serious about it. They really went above and beyond. I was SO impressed with the installation team and how they got it done. (Attn Affordable Quality Marble & Granite-don’t lose those guys. They’re all you got.)Oh and they’re not true to their name. SHOP AROUND! I will not use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. It was mostly horrible.

Last September I purchased and had installed Marble counter tops and a tile backsplash. Kim and her staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were very pleased with the selection and service we received from Affordable Quality Marble and Granite. We trusted the contractor who was renovating our vacation home, so when he recommended Affordable, we visited their warehouse/showroom on Powderhouse Road. We selected a sheet of granite and the installers came to make a pattern of our sink counter. They returned a few days later to install the countertop. They coordinated the installation with our contractor who completed the plumbing. The ladies in the office who helped us make a selection gave very helpful advice. The payment process went very smoothly. After installation, we used a sealer from Lowes. A year later we are still very satisfied with our purchase and will use Affordable again on other projects.

We are very pleased our granite that we have had for 3 years. The owners are hands-on and very professional. After some damage by renters, Affordable worked me into the schedule and gave me a very fair price.

Everyone from the sales/ support to installation was wonderful to deal with - patient in answering questions and explaining details and helping with selection. The installers were terrific ( can hardly see the seam and cleaned up as best they could) Thank you!!

Love my quartz countertop and it looks absolutely beautiful. You can barely see a seam. Excellent job. However, talked at length with them about my backsplash and even picked out the tile, but they never ordered it and I assumed the quote included it, so Im still without a backsplash in my kitchen. Very nice and easy to work with staff, but did have a hard time getting return phone calls.
