I came upon Crescent Automotive online and made the trip from Augusta, Ga to Aiken, SC (only about a 30 min drive). I was looking for a used, dependable car or truck with less than 100k on it and between $10k-20k. The selection that was available is top notch - SUV’s, trucks, and cars pretty much all within that range. As soon as I walked up to a vehicle, I was immediately greet by Russ Vernon, who was a great help and exactly the kind of car salesman I like - not pushy, didn’t complain about how many vehicles we wanted to see, and was knowledgeable about the cars he was selling. I prefer smaller, family run businesses because of the customer service you receive from before the sale, during, and after. These Guys are top notch and we’re very helpful throughout the process. I reached out to them and spoke with Mark. I asked question about the Colorado Truck I was interested. Mark was very forthright and honest about the vehicle. Vehicle was offered at a fair price. I explained that I was coming from Kansas to view the vehicle so I asked him to turn some tests for me to ensure it was what I had hoped for. He done so as well as took care of my requests. He picked me up from the airport and had the vehicle detailed and waxed when I got their. Filled it up with fuel and DEF before I left. It was a great experience. Contacted Brian Johnson several months ago to find a car for me. He indicated that with the broad range of possible cars that I was looking for it was very doable. After I had not heard anything for a couple of months, I called and left messages for Mr. Johnson to call me. Heard nothing! Used the companies online contact page and heard nothing! Very unprofessional! I would not do business with this company nor would I recommend them to anyone. So much for trying to keep my business local. Went out of town and bought a great car with great service.

David was probably the most personable, down to earth salesman Ive ever encountered. His helpful, non-pressuring approach is a breath of fresh air when vehicle shopping. Felt more like I was chatting with an old friend than a car salesman.

Reading the negative reviews it seems like all the people with bad experiences didnt get their cars inspected before they bought them (always a terrible idea). Just to be clear, they had no problem with us taking the car to a third party mechanic to get a pre purchase inspection. The car was priced well below Kelley Blue Book value and they dont have ANY dealer fees. The staff was great too.

June 5 2020- Did a trade in for a 2016 nissan altima. Not even 24hrs later the vehicle seemed to stall when shifting gears and when stopped at a red light when light turned green the car delayed in accelerating into incoming traffic (putting mine and my two children lives in danger) -check engine light comes on.I contact the dealership where Im told to take to Goodyear ( why am I taking a car for work when Ive only had it a few hours- straight bs) and all that was done was the error code was cleared because your boy at Goodyear pretty much didnt wanna deal with me and told me if any other issues to come back. Whatever.4 weeks later. Here I am in the same boat with the same issues-if not little worse Contacted the man who sold it to me only to be told to go back to Goodyear. For what? To get the code cleared again and let the issue get worse. I didnt even respond to him. Now Im having to pay out of pocket for a transmission issue. Might as well do it myself than ask for help bc customer service after contracts were signed was a flop. I just paid $10k for a vehicle and all Im told is to take to your boy at Goodyear. I dont think so.Again, whatever.Complete waste of my time and a mistake. Yall really got me good. Thanks.

I give cresent auto the lowest rating because there Customer Service is no good. I went out and look at 2000 model f150 this past week met with Chelesa sales lady. That truck had five issues the matter with it. No turn signal that work, back doors would not open,odometer reading not working,broken glass in the floor,gear shift broken almost at the top they had duct tape on the gear shift. I went for a test drive. Got back to the lot. Met with Chelesa and she assume me she would take the truck to the shop the next morning and have it look at and call me around noon. I have not heard anything yet from her about this truck. She did not do anything she said she was going to do. Your loss my gain. I found a great used-new car dealership and yes there Customer Service was great. And I now owed me a truck. What a bad experience and a waste of my time.

Buying a used car cant get better than this! First contacted this dealership on Tuesday 12/19 to inquire about the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and talked with Danny. He was a pleasure talking to! Very easy to talk to, courteous and sincere. My wife and I went there today to look at the car and he had it at Goodyear to replace a faulty tire pressure sensor. We test drove the car from Goodyear back to the lot - love the car! For a 2008 this car is in EXCELLENT condition (it looked newer than the 2010 we traded in)! When doing the paperwork, very easy process - other places weve been to in the past has been a hassle and they werent as up front. Danny provided the Carfax report so we could review - he was very transparent about the entire process. Car is for my wife and its now her favorite car. If youre looking to buy a used car, definitely check these guys out! We drove a hour to this place and it was worth it. Danny and company - we appreciate yall for making everything so simple. Didnt really talk to anyone

When negiotating price, the salesperson took off $1000 for issues that the truck had. He did not mention that the 30 day warranty was taken off due to the $1000 being taken off. If we had knew that we would have paid list price and gotten the warranty. My husband was told the truck would still have the 30day warranty! They talked price and everything with my husband and I was just coming up to sign papers. When I signed papers, I was going off the fact that they had covered everything with my husband and that nothing had changed. We have had the truck 4 days and it has been sitting for those days. We go to drive it today and it starts shaking and cuts off. Also, the tire has a knot in it! When we took the truck to the tire shop, we realized we werent given the key to the locking lugnuts. We called and asked about the key and said they didnt have it. They werent even interested in helping or even calling who they got it from to see if they had the key. We brought the truck back up due to the shaking and cutting off, and were told they could do nothing but for us to go to Goodyear. They said the $1000 they took off should cover it! They took $1000 off for the other issues with the truck not for this newly discovered issue! They also stated they dont have a mechanic at the shop. This is ridiculous! We have had the truck 4 days!! This is the last thing we expected from Crescent! Disappointed in their lack of customer service!!!

My Dad bought a Dodge Ram 1500 from these people about a year and a half ago. Needless to say the issues started about a week after purchase. It started with a horrible squeaking noise coming from the wheels . We found out it was bad ball joints . The best this dealership could do was offer the name of a mechanic. Since then its been a bad fuel pump, thermostat, radiator, and water pump amongst other things . Do not !!! I repeat DO NOT TRUST CRESCENT MOTORS !!!! They will sell you a straight piece of garbage ! My parents are on a fixed income and had to dip into there retirement just to make all of these ungodly repairs! Save your money and buy from someone reputable . You have BEEN WARNED !!!!!

Absolutely horrible dealership. The man in charge was a complete jerk. The van we bought started having problems not long after we got it and he wouldnt even return my husbands phone calls. Weve had the van less than a year and we have had it in the shop and/or broke down almost half that time. We got completely ripped off. We are finally trying to trade the van in as it is a piece of junk. Dont let this dealership push you around.
