Poor service, 3,000 in the hole with them in a matter of no more than a month and my boat will not even run! They just want me to keep bringing it back and charging me! I’m sure they have made plenty happy but me not so much! After 3,000 up a hogs but I’m highly upset
I’ve taken my boat back time after time for a simple fix. My boat now will not even run after 4,000$ and all they say is I should have taken my boat somewhere else

I had minn kota talons, lowrance 12, hot foot, and led lights installed on my 2020 g3 at airport. I had probably the best interaction with a boat dealer/service center I’ve ever had. From the initial visit to get a plan together, Robert and the tech (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) went above and beyond my expectations. I picked the boat up just in time for a tournament and let me say I am extremely ocd and attention to detail. The work they did was FLAWLESS. I highly recommend Airport Marine if you are looking to purchase a boat! We just purchased one and our salesman was Ryan. He went above and beyond to make sure we found the exact tri-toon we were looking for. Then when our boat came in, him and the mechanic Ryan went above and beyond to show us everything we would need to know about our boat. Airport Marine has exceptional salesman and staff and the best boat you could want.
They did some repairs on my boat last spring but only a week or so ago I was finally able to get it out and check it out. It wouldnt start, so I took it back and they stopped what they were doing to check it. It was something totally unrelated to the original repairs, but they still fixed it and only charged for the part with no labor. These guys are really committed to quality work at a fair price.

I will have to give these gentlemen five strong starts for their excellent work. They got my boat back to me in three days with a new helm hydraulic pump and tilt. Another marine machanic told me an 8 hr job. Theres no way they billed me for an 8 hr job. Thank you Airport Marine for getting back on the water so quick and making my boat drive like a dream again!! I am most satisfied!!

Customer service/manager was atrocious! I was waiting for my ride, it was very hot outside, but I opted to stay outside. After I finished my cigarette the guy came out, all flustered and downright mad, kicked the cigarette butt, said something unintelligible, and went back inside! Such a hateful old man, over a cigarette butt. Mine wasnt the only one there!

These guys took great care of me. I had some of the sickest tar looking stuff in my transom and my bilge had clogged. Gary in the service dept. did a spectacular job cleaning the inside of the transom and getting me back on the water in less than a five day work week (3days)! I recommend their service dept. with 5 stars. I plan on getting Gary a 12-pk also if he will let me I was so impressed...
I have purchased two boats from Airport Marine and will be purchasing another one in June. The staff are all well trained on the Boats and motors they deal in as well as very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Airport Marine also has the best Service Technicians in Alabama and have helped me in any situation I have come across. I checked pricing for a new bass boat at 8 dealerships throughout the southeast and received the best pricing from Airport Marine. I have purchased 4 previous bass boats and the customer service is absolutely the best Ive ever received from any staff for sales and most importantly service after the sale. I live 250 miles from Airport Marine and I dont think twice about towing my boat there for annual servicing because I am confident that every aspect of the rig will be checked out.In November of 2014, I had an engine alarm in the middle of day 2 of a 3 day tournament 300 miles from Airport Marine. I called the service department when it happened and the service tech walked me through some troubleshooting while I was on the water and 15 minutes later I was up and running and fished the rest of the tournament with no more issues - Thats invaluable customer service from a very well trained service department!I will continue to buy my boats from Airport Marine because they truly believe that the customer is customer comes first which is a rare commodity in todays business environment.

My Mercury optimax stalls. Three service trips and approximately $1,500 and the Airport Marine service folks have no clue (they dont listen). They are just throwing parts at it now. Time for me to find another dealer.

Very disappointed in the recent service experience I had with Airport Marine.Ive been in and looked at boats here serval times. I talked to Jim & Gene quite a bit (both great stand out guys). Had it not been for the price point I was looking at (on a hard to find boat *intercoastal*) I would have likely purchased a Ranger from one of these two gentlemen.So, I was looking forward to building a relationship with the service team to handle service needs for my new to me Ranger. Ive spoken with Shawn in service a few times and hes always been very helpful.I left my boat for the bunks to be replaced on the trailer the morning of their open house. I asked if they could take a look at the hub oil on the starboard side of the trailer because the see-through lens had a dark coloration to it, it had fluid. I just couldnt tell if it was at the fill line.I get a call a week later saying I had $1,100 bill and that they had found water in the hub and replaced the hub bearings and oil in both hubs ($213 dollars in parts and 3 hours in labor including drive time to a parts store $543 total).I asked why someone didnt call me and let me at least know what was going on prior to all this being done with the hubs. Shawn apologized and said I should have been called.After a bartering discussion of how much could I pay, I was told the parts manager said I had to pay for the hub parts. At that point I asked to speak with him as I did not believe that was right.Ken Hollis the owner of Airport Marine then spoke with me at the store when I went for pick up. He told me if I was going to be a customer I was not going to argue with the service being performed once the work was done. After trying to explain to him exactly what I asked to be done, he told me your story of checking the oil is b/s, you could have checked the hub oil yourself.The service advisors wrote check hub on the service ticket which I did sign and they confirmed exactly what I asked for in front of Ken. If I needed to write out the service request myself I wish someone would have handed me a pen.Im not perfect nor is anyone else, thats not what I expect. However, being treated like I was by the owner showed me real quick how Im valued as a customer by Airport Marine. My hope is this saves someone else the head ache of dealing with what I had to with this company.I will also note I left my boat with the cover on it and tie down straps attached to keep the rain out. None of these were put back after the repairs, my boat keys were sitting in 6 inches of water in the boat. Safety chain not put back on the bow, rear tie down straps not put back on securing the trailer. I thought that should be pretty basic knowing a customer is about to tow their boat.They watched me and my wife put them on in the rain though.
I was the second person in line. there were two people working the parts counter. they asked me what I needed, and I told them I needed 2 carb rebuild kits. and I also wanted to get proce quotes on some props for my boat. after I said that, they kept going to the next people in line and were ignoring me. they wanted to sell me an aluminum prop for 150. that is outrageous. I could order a new prop online for that price. horrible service.
The Airport Marine staff have been nothing but first class. I recently purchased a new motor and controls for my boat. They went out of their way to give me what I needed and in a timely manner. The service staff is one of the best in the state. As President of the Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation, I know of several instances where our members, in critical need of boat repair during tournaments, were taken care of promptly and were able to finish the tournament in their boat.Airport Marine is a family-run business which I am proud to say has helped our organization raise over $140,000 for Fishin4aCure. All of that money went to Childrens of Alabama hospital to benefit children with cancer. Airport Marine is a family owned and operated business front to back. Customer servive and sales are second to none. Ken,Linda,Skip,Tim, Gary and Mike will always do whatever it takes to keep you on the water. If the price ia a little higher to you then look around the parts and service facility. Its worth a little if any to know someone has your back after you make the purchase. The most friendly and advanced facility you will find. Probaly the number one dealer of any brand they sell. Take a look at their website and thier high school tournament trail. No one looks out after the kids like Flynn Gerald and hands out so many rods/reels and prizes. These people are FIRST CLASS.
