These guys changed my life. Im a sailor and had a catastrophic failure with my boat motor and needed a replacement part ASAP... Not the typical client.As an industrial designer by training my jaw hit the floor when I saw their manufacturing capability. This was the most comprehensive CAD fabrication workshop Ive ever seen- might have even seen a 9 axis laser mill in the corner. 😉The team seemed calm and competent, and yes, they custom milled for me the part I needed for free 🙏 Massive gratitude!

Im an Engineer living in Alameda. I needed a CNC Part made from Stainless Steel. I called KAD Models & Prototypes, Chris answered the first time I called, I told him about the part I needed, and he gave me an Email address so I could send in my part drawing.By the end of the same day I had a quote for about the cost I expected with a 1 week lead time. A couple days later, I got an email saying the part was ready.I stopped by the KAD Shop on Clement that afternoon where I was greeted in a professional and friendly manner. Chris handed me the part which was exactly per drawing specification, I paid for it, and it was a done deal.KAD handled my business flawlessly and will call them next time I need a custom part.

Brian and his team have deep tribal knowledge of all things prototyping. Their prices are fair and delivery always comes in quite a bit quicker than anywhere else I have quote a job.

Dont use these folks. They didnt finish our job. Leaving us in the lurch. Then had the nerve to be a jerk about it.
