Its interesting which CDC guidelines AutoZone wants to follow because some of the staff were NOT wearing masks and were LESS than 6 feet close to customers.I usually give positive reviews but I am appalled by the service I received today. I didnt have the same experience. I went there today because my service engine soon light came on. I am here providing healthcare from TX and dont have family here so I went alone. I was referred to them by someone on the military base (I will be letting them know never to refer here anymore). I asked them to do a diagnostic with the machine that plugs into the car. They gave me the machine and expected me to do my own diagnostic. Seriously????? If I knew how to do it, why would I be there? They said it is a company policy that they are unable to go in the car for any reason. I hope they never go to a doctor and need a procedure only to be given the instruments, then told to do the procedure themselves!I highly recommend OReillys down the street. I had amazing service at OReillys. Everyone was very nice and professional....and guess what? They were able to do their job and perform a diagnostic.

I just want to thank Paul P. he helped me with my battery. If it wasnt him I dont know what I would have done . He was very friendly and professional and went over and beyond, thank you AutoZone for having such a great young man that will go beyond for customers. Thanks again Paul👍🏼.

I love the rewards program that they have here at Auto Zone. This last time I went in there I had forgotten I had reward points and so I used them and it took like $6 off my total! If you ever go here for anything, I suggest signing up for the rewards program!

I have had some good and some bad experiences at my local AutoZone, today was a great experience. Alot of the time the workers look drained or irritated being on the job, but there are a select few time to time that will even cheer you up and look like they love their job. All in all its a fair place to purchase your automotive goods.

Been great for me

Always get me the wrong part! I am always having to take it back. And this morning I was the first one there, taking back the part I bought last week, wrong part again. They didnt have the right part and could not give me my money back because they didnt have enough cash on hand. Upsetting! Now I have to call to see if they will have enough cash before I can take it back. Not happy with service.

A month ago my Suburban broke down in Alamogordo. Throttle body was replaced but the problem persisted. The issue still was not resolved and needed additional work and the part was not compatible.....a month later I returned to seek a refund. Tom Snyder helped me in both occasions. Even though AutoZone did not make “the sale” Tom went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get me and my family safely back on the road. Thank you Tom for valuing your customers above making a sale. Did a good job. Since we are in a pandemic they gave us something to diagnose the car our selves and bring it back to them which is when they tell us whats wrong and what to do.

Jerry was very, very helpful and knowledgeable when I visited the store on Monday, the 6th. When I returned to the store on Thursday, the 9th, I was rung up by Alberto and told him multiple times Id like Jerry to help me with a battery installation. Jerry just finished helping a customer, at the checkout counter. Alberto didnt ask Jerry if he would help with the installation. Alberto got another employee to help with the battery installation. Alberto, AutoZones worst listener.

I went in needing a new battery for my 2011 Kia Soul. I bought my battery and had trouble removing the old one completely. I took it to a tire and repair shop to get some help. They said they couldnt swap out that battery with the one I bought because the battery wasnt bought from them. So I took the new battery back to AutoZone to try and return it and get a refund. Alberto, who originally sold me the battery, listened patiently to me and said hed install it. So he was able to find the two bolts holding the battery in and he took them off. He installed the new battery plus the felt pads and grease for the clamps as well. So Alberto did the job the right way for me. I really appreciated Albertos help and Ill be buying all my auto parts from the AutoZone in Alamogordo, NM.

Went in Sun, Feb. 9th for two new replacement windshield wipers. Was helped by a gentleman with last name Moore. My rating for him was not a 5, but a 10. Super helpful, kind, knowledgeable. Ive been in retail management for some years. With the qualities he has, he should manage his own Autozone store (I didnt have time to check, but he may be a Store Manager already). Regardless, I would go back and buy things from Alamagordo Autozone, from him.Overall experience 10/10. Thank you.

We went in earlier to price plugs and wires but also to have them hook the machine up to it. It ended up not being the plugs or wires but something else. We been here for a little over a year and i love their customer service

Quick lookup with good info on options. I dropped by to look up information for a deep cycle battery on a summer-driven project car. Left with the product I needed after comparing info (Optima Yellow Top).

Had to file down brake shoes to get them to fit. One side fit fine. The other side was oversized. Good service in the store though.

I was getting screwed over the Auto Zone person told me my car needed major work !, and he knew someone to do the work I felt that he was up to no good? took my car to another shop nothing was wrong with my car .. now how many people did he screw over with taking hard earn money I believe this individual had something going on on the side using the company for fraud with setting up scams with mechanic he was recommending

Went in to get brakes for my truck and waited for 15 minutes for one guy to get off the phone (3 calls by the way) while the other guy ignored me and helped three other people check out. Staff didnt seem very knowledgable; I had to explain to him that my truck has two different types of brakes. Got what i needed, but the service could have been a lot better.

They were very helpful in getting the best lights for my wifes car. Very helpful and pleasant service!

Staff are knowledgeable to an extent, prices can be higher than online options, has a wide variety of parts, offers an excellent selection of auto care accessories, interior is clean, offers trouble code (check engine light) reading, battery and charging system testing.

I went to get a thermostat and the young man was very helpful and made sure a got everything I needed to change it out.

Service kinda sucks, you ask when the part comes in and they don’t really know and rarely answer the phone. Usually have the best prices though.
