I enjoy this store very much exceptional variety of books. Customer service very friendly. Would recommend this store for browsing and gifts.

Definitely one of my favorite places on Earth. The staff is very helpful if theres something you have a hard time finding. On one occasion, the staff member took it upon herself found a book for me that was in the wrong section (you can imagine how much time and effort that took that poor worker). Joe Mugs is a welcomed bonus! (Every so often, they give out free samples.)

Not a big fan of the Albany mall, but I love coming here to have a cup of coffee and read a book. The staff has always been very pleasant to me, and their prices on books are very reasonable. They sale cute little things for my nieces that I like to pick up occasionally.

If you need or want a book I would tell anyone to go to Books-A-Million in the Mall in Albany everyone there was so nice and helpful. I do think if you need a book they have it.

I am a book nerd so any bookstore is a joy for me. BAM is a treasure trove of any genre you could possibly want! so happy this store is close! staff is always helpful and knowledgeable!

Always a good place to find new reads and a good manga selection in the vast nothingness that is Albany, Ga.

Like much of anything in Albany, this place is acceptable but nothing that you want to make plans to go do. You just happen to stop in if already in the area. Very small BAM. I miss the big one that used to be in Albany when I was a kid. Small selection of just about every section, including their bargain priced stuff. Which is the only section to shop as just like with most BAMs, they are way over priced. Books are cheaper at Walmart, Target, Amazon, 2nd & Charles etc. Occasionally, they get Pop exclusives so we stop in every couple of weeks to see if they have finally put out stock that other stores have had for months.

Like stepping back to the 90s and loving every minute! From the Joe coffee to the calendars this store will bring back memories! Ah the days before Amazon! Experience books the way they were made to be read. In person. Holding them. Smelling them then picking just the right one to bring home!

Lots and lots of books. Very nice store. Just wish they would stop offering the magazine subscriptions.

The store has dim lighting and feels old. Cluttered in some spots. One of the employees, a tall white guy stood watch over us as we sat at a table. He was not working. I noticed he didnt come over there until he saw us enter the store. And he just stood there and watched us our entire time in the store.

As always a great place to shop. The staff is very friendly with my Autistic son.

This was my first time in bam. Theres was friendly as soon as I walked in the store. I felt so relieved to find such excellent customer service in albany, ga. She was very helpful and offered me help as well as trying to sell other books I might like but not in an obnoxious way. This was my best shopping trip since I have been here. I would give them 10 stars!

Was able to find 1 book I was looking for.

Chill atmosphere, perfect for sitting down and browsing/reading, which in my case involves comics and math/science/technology books. Staff is friendly and helpful as well.

I was shocked and dismayed to see prominent and centrally-placed displays showcasing books with titles filled with vulgarities. I have always considered my BAM bookstore a haven where I might examine and ponder diverse ideas and viewpoints, but to be confronted with such profane obscenity and unable to avoid such in-your-face displays, is discouraging and creates a hesitancy to enter any bookstore that considers this a viable marketing technique.

Its nice that they have discount cards in here. My daughter always buys books in here and I love the service and the great selections they have.

The BAM located in my hometown of Albany, GA is the only place I can purchase Manga in my area. Theyve got a pretty decent selection as well! The people that work there are almost all great to deal with, with only a few exceptions. I go there at least once a week, and enjoy it each and every time.

No way you can walk through this store without finding something you like.

It was fine. I have a particularly narrow genre for books and that cant be put on the store as lacking. So, it was just ok for me. They did have a lot of toys and games, etc that looked great. I went to the store several times because I received a gift certificate and wanted to use it while there. Staff were friendly.

Love the selection and always like to look at the bargain books. The addition of used books is a plus as I get gently used books at a much lower price. The people are always friendly. The discount card is worth the money since you can use on all purchases.

Found what we were looking for

Good place to read. As far as food & drinks, I dont buy there much because they never have dairy free milk so I can buy healthy drinks. Also, there is no good wifi to work on projects and work. Even if you did connect to the not so good wifi, there is no area to charge your phone/laptop to work. I would go there more often if there was changes made to make these needs met.

This store racially profiles you. Its pathetic and unprofessional. This American lady with blue hair was methodically following my father and I around the whole time.

I really like this store. Some of the clerks are helpful but the younger ones seem like they just want to stand around and talk to their friends. But I still like it and I love the different coffees.

I was actually just passing through. The middle flowthrough isle had several books that caught my eye! My friend and I ended up spending over$100.00 dollars. The customer service was extraordinary! I wish that I remembered his name, because he was exceptional. I love this store. They always have a great clearance section that I spend a lot of time going through. This store is easily the best thing about the Albany Mall.

Such a nice place to walk around and you always find something good and interesting.I like the coffee shop.They take forever to get the coffee..However its a cool place to go with family.

Theyre in the middle of moving things around, but still not impressed. Empty shelves all over, almost nothing on technology subjects, and nobody offering help. Like the rest of the mall, just sad.

I went to check out and was told I get three free magazines. Come to find out if you dont call and cancel the subscription they will charge your card. Thats not consumer friendly at all

I like the store, book selection, and childrens toys. But the cashier signed me up for a customer lotalty membership and 3 free issues of 3 magazines with little or no transparency about what these things cost. It wasnt until the very end of the transaction that she bothered to mention that I would have to call a 1-800 number and individually cancel the magazine subscriptions or be charged every month.

I can always find what I need and the customer service is on point.

Took my daughter and a friend of hers there to look around the girls ended up purchasing a few items and the staff member that took care of them was extremely courteous and helpful due to the fact the store was about to close in 15 minutes

The people here are amazind and the coffee is top notch. If they dont have something you want in store theyll gladly order it for you. Lovely place and a nice place to hang out. They also have the cleanest restrooms in the mall.

You advertise an activity for children and then dont follow thru. I will never step foot into another books a million after my seven year old was disapointed like he was. Mistakes happen but nothing was offered to make it right. I will make sure to let everyone know how children are treated at your store.

Clean store and well stocked... can be odd looking for certain books but the coffee shop is good and the emplyees are willing to help.

I had not been in a BAM for about 10 years. I was dusappointed at the lack of personnel and childrens book selection for tweens. Too many toys and not enough books - and not enough workers.

BAM has everything i could want in a book store. Any kind of books, Manga, games, toys and a coffe shop!
