Went to Cider Belly for the first time last week. Had heard very positive reviews from family and friends so I had high expectations. It did not disappoint - the donuts are fresh and fabulous. I was overwhelmed with the amazing and numerous flavor choices. Plus, they have both gluten free and vegan donuts. Friendly staff. Recommend highly.

The hours to cider belly has changed since covid 19. They are open but not as much as they were before and I do miss it. It brought a lot of business onto North Pearl. But their donuts are fantastic better than Dunkin donuts I can tell you that. They make a gluten-free donut which I can have the fats that are when theyre deep fried I cant have that but they make it gluten free so I can have it and theyre so yummy. Im glad you opened up down here

First off, I feel I must warn you that this place is DANGEROUS, but in a great way! The doughnuts are amazing and the selection is unique and plentiful. There isnt a single one that I didnt love. If you are near is location its worth a quick stop to see what they have

Ordered a few dozen donuts a day ahead. Each box was labeled with exactly what donut was in the box and where that donut was.All looked fresh and relieved great compliments from those who had one. Prices are a bit high but well worth it.

Cider Belly donuts are fantastic and the service is always excellent. One of my favorite places in Albany! Also, their vegan and gluten free donuts are just as delicious as their conventional donuts, which makes them my go-to if I need to bring goodies to a party with a mix of dietary needs. Seriously, you have to try this place.

Heard my coworkers talking about this place all the time so decided to go for donuts work a couple of relatives that were in the area visiting. Their classic cider donuts were great and not too sweet - I bet it would do well with a quick dunk in apple cider or coffee. They also had options if sweeter donuts are your thing. I liked it better than options available at the Dunkin Donuts nearby.

Cider Belly has been a place my husband and I visit each time we are in the Albany area. We knew that they needed to be our favor for our wedding. We got the opportunity to try many flavors and choose our favorites (which was hard to do!). They were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful as we decided how much we would need for our celebration. We even got some donuts for us to share - just because! We keep hearing rave reviews from our guests about our donut favors!

Donuts are beyond delicious! Worth driving around searching for a meter to park at and $2/donut. Recommend getting the dozen for the one free as there are so many to try. My favorite was the blueberry. The lemon was also good, but beware it will give you a citrus punch. Employees are extremely helpful and friendly.

We just used Cider Belly for donuts for our wedding last weekend and they were perfect! We keep getting comments on how great the donuts were. They were so accommodating considering we had to delay everything from 2020 because of the pandemic. They delivered the donuts and the donut tower right on time to the venue and even set aside a small box just for us to take home with us. I cant say enough nice things about them!

If you haven’t had Cider Belly doughnuts you don’t know what you’re missing! They have the best cake doughnuts in the Albany-Central New York Region. We have them delivered to the Utica area all the way from Albany and it was well worth it! Our wedding guests throughly enjoyed them. We appreciate the special box of doughnuts that they left for my husband and I because there wasn’t much leftover, for obvious reasons.

Delicious donuts....prices are reasonable. Watermelon lemonade was good. Albany cider donuts, pear glazed donut, fruity pebbles frosted donut delicious, maple glazed donut also very good. Customer service is good. They have a nice seating area in the back and cute little benches outside. Jamaican Rum doughnuts was mind blowing yummy!

Certainly in for a treat! My first time here, and would surely circle back every time I crave doughnuts. The vanilla and cappuccino glazed are absolutely delicious. The dough tastes super fresh. The staff are very welcoming and know their product well.

Awesome donut shop! So many flavors! They have seasonal flavors. The donuts range in price for $1-$3. There are vegan options. There are gluten free options (however they are fried in the same oil as regular donuts so not recommended for Celiacs or anyone super sensitive to gluten this is the only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5). I have a gluten intolerance but I was able to eat 4 gluten free donuts in 1 day without symptoms. Their cranberry orange flavor is amazing! The gluten free doughnuts all have the same base doughnuts, just different flavored toppings and icing. If you are there early in the morning you will have a better chance of getting gluten free doughnuts. Call ahead if you can like the day before to make sure you have some set aside for you. They now put dobuts in boxes if you get 12 or more I think.

This review is for June 5th 2021.I normally give businesses good reviews, or no reviews at all, but Id have to give Cider Belly only one star. I went in at 9 am in the morning and none of the flavor options were updated, so I got a mystery box of 6 donuts to get a better taste of their flavors. First off, this costed me $12 so I am expecting good donuts, however the cake base was soaked in oil and the icing was majority sugar, which masked the flavor of the donut. Definitely not worth the price. In addition, you have to find street parking, which Id imagine would be more difficult later in the day. I would really like to agree with the rest of the Google reviews, so I may try this location at a later date.

It’d be really awesome if there was a larger sign on the door saying that masks are required to enter the store. Also, “variant” doesn’t have an “e” in it. Don’t allow C-level English students to write your signs.

What a treat it is to grab a Cider Belly doughnut. The staff was hard at work on a 98 degree Tuesday still prepping and making sure thier product was ready to roll. There is pride and quality put into each delectable morsal, that comes out in the bevvy of glazed flavors you can get. A dozen of these will run you more than your Dunkin Doughnuts, but the quality is worth every cent.

Best donuts Ive had in the capital region. If you call ahead, theyll make and set aside just about any donut for you. When we needed some egg free donuts, we called ahead, they made some vegan donuts and set them aside for us.They serve donuts until they run out, usually early to mid afternoon. My favorite donut is the crispifried donut, but Ive never had a bad one.

These doughnuts melt in your mouth. I love the original cider belly donut. Some of the speciality ones are a little pricey but they are so good. These are a thousand times better than Dunkin Donuts. They also are really creative with flavors and frosting around just about any holiday. Worth checking out.

My husband and I were visiting town, and decided to stop here for donuts and coffee. When I got there, I asked for a menu and I was told there is no menu available. The guy was not being helpful at all.....I only wanted two donuts, but was forced to buy 6. On top of that I wasnt allowed to get a donut of my choice. At the end I was stuck with 6 sugary chocolate donuts I didnt want....to top it off I have a severe bee allergy, and can go into shock if I get bit, there were at least 10-15 bees hovering around the shop. If you have a bee allergy like I do, please stay away from this area. They have their dumpster situated right in the front which attracts the bees, why not just move it to the back and do something about it. I have never had such a terrible experience with service as I did today. I informed the guy about this when trying to order, and he was not being helpful at all.

Arguably the best donuts in Albany. Always fresh and delicious. Before covid, I enjoyed going in and seeing all the friendly faces of the staff and customers. With Covid, they do recommend placing a phone order for pickup at least the day before. Regardless they are keeping Albany going with their deliciousness. Friendly staff and such a cute little shop right in the hustle and bustle of Albanys business district.

I absolutely love this place! The interior is so cute, the staff is so friendly and the donuts are to die for. You can smell how incredible this place is from across the street and I cant help myself from stopping every time Im in downtown Albany.

We live in Boston and stop at Cider Belly Donuts every time we stay in or pass through Albany. If you are just passing through its a very easy and quick off and on Route 90/New York Thruway. The donuts are some of the best and freshest weve ever had. All of the rising flavors are good but the original Sugar Daddy is a small piece of heaven. If you havent tried a Cider Belly Donut and love donuts, you are needing a piece of life. Plus the service is peppy and friendly and the artwork by @wafflefingers in the bathroom is really really cool. ♥️♥️♥️

Best donuts in Albany. They have very unique flavors that rotate all year long. These are all made fresh and the flavor is very strong in a good way. See that lemon donut? Thats gonna taste like lemon. Parking can be a chore around this area but its worth it to stop by if youre already in the area.

This little place is great. Tried the lemon glazed donut, the doh-nut, cold brew coffee & lavender lemonade. All were amazing. The cold brew coffee wasnt bitter at all and didnt even need sugar or cream to taste great. The fresh lemonade with added lavender flavor was the best Id ever had. The donuts were perfectly fresh and delightful. Prices were super affordable. Love the atmosphere of this place! Cozy and fun! The staff was super friendly & helpful too!

This donut 🍩 shop is amazing. They use a fabulous cider dough and fry their donuts fresh, behind the counter. Their regular assortment of flavors after outstanding ($1.50@), and their specialty donuts are terrific, too ($2.00@)! They even offer bags of 3 flops at $1/bag. A half dozen is $6.00 and a bakers dozen (13 ct.) are $12.00. The wait staff is friendly and fast, and their coffee ☕ legit. Parking is a difficult challenge, but otherwise this is an excellent choice. They even offer some outside seating.

Very good, fresh, and flavorful! Just walking down the street in Albany and passed the Cider Belly Donuts ... has to stop in. People were very nice. Atmosphere is clean, casual, comfortable and relaxed. I just had a sugar donut but they must of had 30 varieties including several gluten free choices.

Gourmet doughnuts is a concept some people have trouble with. One visit to this place should dispel them of that! The variety is head-spinning, with just about any flavor you can think of included in some kind or another, depending on the day. The coffee is also excellent and inexpensive. And yes, they have apple cider to drink too!

I love this site about a bakery its on North Pearl Street unfortunately theyre not open very late in the afternoon and I really think they should be. I dont think its should be open in the afternoon or even in the evening just as Dunkin donuts has. Their donuts are a lot better though and so is their coffee

I am never disappointed coming here. the donuts are always fresh and delicious. I adore there seasonal flavors and they are great on a cold day with a hot cup of coffee. The service is always super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy. Co-workers will easily polish off a dozen no problem if you bring them into the office.

Time and again Cider Belly has been an amazing spot for donuts and coffee. With my mom being gluten free, we tried some of their GF donuts and they were fantastic. Their coffee has always been consistently amazing as well. We had them make 60 donuts for a family birthday party, and they were very professional and helpful. They even brought the donuts out to the car for me! Seriously the best capital district donut shop.

I have some of the donuts free like on the house after each day when they close they put donuts outside of their business on the bench. In the area with people sit outside and have a coffee and a donut. I happened to get one of those donuts that day in a box of them matter of fact and they were gluten-free they were delicious. Light and fluffy I didnt bother the tummy. Is the best gluten-free donut place Ive ever been to even better than Dunkin donuts and Starbucks put together

I was visiting Albany and someone recommended Cider Belly. The donuts were delicious. I made sure I stopped again before I left to bring some donuts to my children. Everyone working behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. It is a great place for a sweet snack with wonderful employees.

Love that they have vegan donut options, but you have to call ahead to ensure they have the type of donut you want because they switch up the type depending on the day. My boyfriends favorite is the peanut butter with bacon topping. Restaurant is hard to find because the storefront is pretty small and next to a boarded up building. Dining area is a little messy. Theyre last baking is at 2 and they close once everything is sold.

BYOB - Bring Your Own BOX. I paid nine dollars for 4 donuts. They were all thrown into a bag on top of one another. All the donuts had cream and other items on top which were either smeared or flattened. When I asked for a box, they said it would be an additional 50 cents. nope!

I wish there were more Cider Belly Donuts in the world. I have never had anything there I didnt love. I often go classic with a glazed cider donut. But you cant beat the Butter Rum, or one I tried just recently, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. Theyre all great!! And they have coffee, what more could you ask for?

To be honest, it really doesn’t get any better than this. A trip to flavor town in every doughnut. You will not be disappointed.

Just caught an amazing end of year deal... for coming into the store right before closing, I only wanted a 6 pack of sugary cider bellys, and walked out with a dozen assorted flavors, 6 fresh and 6 day old for $6!!! Happy holidays, Cider Belly!!!
