Albany ENT got us right in when our daughter was suffering from undiagnosed dizziness. Jacqueline, the PA was empathetic, understanding, intelligent and asked great questions. She was the only medical professional we saw who had actually tried to help us by prescribing steroids and referring us to a neurologist. When my daughter went for her hearing test, the doctor was so reassuring and kind. We truly appreciate everything they did for us!

Recently I developed a sinus infection following a bout with the COVID virus. I had been an established patient of Dr. Kaufmans for many years until he discharged me due to lack of need for continuing care. At the time of discharge he gave me liberty to call if I should ever need him. Though I had not been in his care for 2 years, one phone call for help resulted in a same day appointment and an excellent plan for treatment. It is a gift to be confident in the skill and level of care of your provider. I am so thankful.

My family has always had great experiences here, with Dr. Ross in Audiology, our ENT Dr. Engle and his PA Dan Horton, and the entire staff in the allergy center. They are a kind, compassionate group that takes the time to talk to the patient to get a complete understanding of whats going on.

Dr. John Gavin has seen my daughter, who is 10 months old, twice. Once when she was 3 months old and once when she was 10 months. He is thorough and makes sure to explain everything. There was a little bit of a wait to see him, but he didnt rush us and listened to our concerns when he got to us. To me that matters more. We are glad our daughter is in good hands here.

I see two different Drs at Albany ENT and I am currently working with Deanna Ross one of the audiologists. All of the staff are friendly, professional and helpful from the receptionists to the surgeons. The doctors are top notch. The audiologists are wonderful. I am very happy here and I would recommend this practice to anyone needing ENT services.

Dr. Setzen as well as the Allergy team are thorough and professional. Check in and out process is well organized and the staff are very courteous. I have not encountered any issues with this office. Great environment if you need these type of services.

We love Dr. GAVIN . Im rating 4 stars because for some reason lately Ive been having a hard time reaching the company. I had an issue a couple months ago and left a voice mail stating the issue and no one ever called me back. The receptionist are great but I wish it was a little easier to get ahold of someone . The phone just rings and rings . Great place and people.

The office seems efficiently run and staff is friendly. Dr Kaufman was great. Took time to listen to me and very gently with his exam. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great staff, great doctors! The office has been fighting with a terrible computer scheduling system for about a year now. It schedules people in the wrong office, cancels appointments... Definitely go here, but make sure to personally confirm your appointment with a real live person to avoid delays and misunderstangs. Dr. Engle is terrific, dynamic, listens to concerns, and like a good diagnostic, starts at the easiest and least expensive remedy and continues to work with you until a solution is found so long as you are honest and proactive about your health.

Elated with the new building (partially because the location is closer to me!). Ive bee seeing PA Andrew for a while now and hes fantastic - very smart and friendly and takes the time to listen to all of your concerns.Ive also been getting allergy shots here for some time now and the folks that work on that side of the building are lovely!

Great service at a new and modern facility. Ive gone to this practice for more than 15 years. Always up to date on new treatments and concerns Dr. Adelson is the absolute best surgeon there is for sinus/facial surgeries.

Very professional and check in was done in a fair manner with regard to social distancing. Using an Ipad for information is efficient but I felt bad for elder patients who are not used to using a computer. Scheduling for follow up with speech and surgeon is quite a wait. I realize this is not unique to this practice but an overall problem with staff shortages. Hopefully this will improve.

Generally very happy with the practice. Its difficult to reach a human when calling, you have to leave a message and eventually someone calls you back.

Everyone I spoke to were great and very efficient. Called for a first appointment and as luck would have it a cancellation happened while on the phone. Got in that day. Will go nowhere else. Great place, great people!

Never have had trouble getting an appointment in a reasonable time. My experience with a PA is always positive. Office is well staffed. Wait time does vary with each visit but this is never a problem for me. The time spent with me is never rushed, staff is very knowledgeable, thorough, flexible and helpful, especially as I am not a textbook case. Referrals are made when appropriate. The office in Albany is new- a bonus - with plenty of parking..

I called to say that I wanted to make an appointment for my son to have his peanut allergy retested. They make me the appointment. I drive out and show up just for the doctor to refer me to a different allergy doctor, because Albany ENT doesnt do skin tests, only blood test. And even that I had to go to labcorp for. They had me go out there just so the doctor could be paid to tell me to go to a different practice. They should have told me before I made the appointment!!! They also had me there almost two hours on top of that😠.

I honestly wish I could give this embarrassment of an organization 0 stars. Scheduled our sons surgery 2 months in advance, had multiple follow up phone calls confirming the date. Subjected our 18 month old child to a covid test and physical the week of surgery. Physical cleared and covid was fine. We call the day before the surgery to confirm the time and the scheduler informs us we are not on the schedule and will call us back. no one called back, even after making 10 plus calls to their office. finally our pediatrician reached out and demanded they returned our call. this resulted in us speaking with the director, who coldly informed us the surgery was canceled 2 weeks prior and there was nothing that could be done! no one called or emailed us, and the people we spoke on the phone with prior to this date never mentioned it. after going through multiple sources to figure out what is going on we were informed we can schedule for surgery in a month! This place is a joke, and im actually thankful they were not able to operate on my child. I would not trust any office with such poor organization to come near my kids. We will be going elsewhere for his surgery and I highly recommend you do that same! STAY AWAY! This place is a nightmare!

The audiologist that I’ve seen here, Tricia Doyle, has been so helpful and informative about my hearing issues and the process of choosing and using a hearing aid system. Checking in and out for appointments usually involves little to no wait, and the patient waiting area is large and arranged to ensure ‘social distancing.’ Every staff member that I’ve encountered has been patient, polite, and cheerful. I would recommend this practice without reservation.

Albany ENT is great. Everyone is nice and welcoming. The doctors are very informative and knowledgeable. I went to them because I had a terrible infection from a surgery I didn’t need, from another doctor. They cleared the infection and did what should have been done years ago. I used to get chronic sinus infections and they did allergy testing and now I am on allergy shots. I haven’t had a sinus infection since. I highly recommend them.

Upon the advice of their PCP, brought a family member to the urgent care facility here. What a well run operation! Wait time was only a few minutes, staff (front desk, nurse, PA) were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even the checkout process was extremely smooth. Follow up appointment was scheduled for a week out, where we again had a similar experience. Would highly recommend!

I had surgery here on Friday July 16th. This facility has an entire floor dedicated to surgery. The staff and doctors are amazing. I felt so cared for and protected. I appreciated not having to go to a major hospital to have my surgery. But you wouldnt know that you werent in a major hospital because of the care you receive from the doctors, anesthesiologist, nurses and MAs. They explain everything to you and are with you throughout the entire procedure.

Never have to wait long AND dedicated healthcare providers, for whom their jobs are more than just a job!

They never answer the phone they barely have staff and no one ever gets back to you. i am currently still waiting for someone to pick up the line @ 11:27 a.m. it has been 15 mins and still no one to answer so i can make an appointment for my daughter. i have the pt portal and I am unable to make an appointment on there as well. The website it not quick and easy, very unreliable and inconvenient. Not happy with this, changes need to be made with staff and the website i feel like no one is purposely answering the phone

Dr. Gavin is amazing! My son has had trouble with nasal congestion and tonsils. I had a feeling my son was allergic to soy despite skin testing showing otherwise. Rather than pull his tonsils or put my son through another round of skin testing he suggested we do an elimination diet first. 7 days in and my son is showing improvement. He is kind, patient, thorough and takes his time with you. He educated us beyond what was needed for our appointment. We love Dr. Gavin!

Came in as urgent care, no appointment, long wait, but worth it due to the pain in my ears. They prescribed meds that worked perfectly (after my family doc had tried other meds that didnt solve this problem).

One of the most organized medical establishments Ive been to. Theyve made it easy for me to pursue a plan to take care of my allergies, have helped me understand my insurance coverage, and EVERY interaction Ive had, whether with doctors, nurses, or receptionists, has been wonderful. Dr. Engle especially has been fantastic in helping me work through allergic asthma problems, keeping me informed about my medications, and actually listening to me about how Im feeling. Also, my past experience with other providers has made prescription refill a hassle; Ive had no such problems with Albany ENT. Overall, great level of communication and care.

My audiologist, Deanna Ross, conducted my hearing test and explained the results clearly and comprehensively. My ENT exam was conducted by Dr. Lawrence Kaufman, truly one of the kindest and more communicative medical professionals with whom Ive interacted. I highly recommend Albany ENT & Allergy Services.
