My husband and I paid a visit to Hit or Miss Archery yesterday and today for a new archery setup. Being new to archery, it was a bit overwhelming for us; however, I can say that I have never seen such a strong team of professionals that truly show their patience and dedication to helping two newbies who are barely getting started. Josiah and John got me situated initially yesterday; however, today is when I was truly able to give it a try after it was setup. Great big shout out to Neil, Mike, and John for your time and outstanding customer service. You guys truly gave us 110% and each taught us so much today that we are excited to use that knowledge going forward. For anyone looking into anything archery, look no further. We started with a visit at a big box store and we are so glad we decided to check out Hit or Miss and support local. These guys are the best and truly treat you like family! Bought my first bow here and didnt regret it. Went over budget mainly because Im a lefty and have a long draw. But couldnt be happier with the purchase. Got a Hoyt Ventum 33 and love it. I was so nervous to buy a bow because I knew nothing about it but felt so comfortable being here, like Ive been coming here my whole life. So I brought my son here for his first bow great place thanks guys

I had my second bow lesson with Mike today. He is an amazing teacher, friendly and very knowledgeable. He helped me get my bow sighted in properly and is continuing to do so as needed throughout my lesson. I will definitely be getting more lessons because of this. Hit or Miss has my business for life!

I took my mother for a lesson as a birthday gift, and overall was very impressed. Taylor was our instructor and he was amazing! He was awesome while coaching my mom and was easy to talk to. Mike the manager unfortunately was rude not once but twice to me and my mother. Talked to me like I was stupid when I made a mistake, and yelled at me across the range. Ill be leaving a 5 star review still because thats how great the lesson was with Taylor, Mike was extremely off putting and rude.

Great facility with even better staff! I went in last week to shoot a couple of flagship bows to feel the differences between them. Jessie, Hit or Miss Employee, was spectacular as well as knowledgeable. Jessie answered every question I had and was very patient with me as I am new to the sport. In the end I ended up purchasing a bow and was extremely happy with the whole process. If you end up going there ask for Jessie, he will take care of you and make sure you are set up correctly from the get go.Thank you to all of the staff for being genuinely nice and I look forward to future visits/business with you all.

Hands down the best archery shop and range in Albuquerque! The most knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as a decent selection of products. Thier 40yd indoor range is perfect for tuning or just playing since one side is for paper targets and the other is packed with a variety of 3d targets ranging from raccoons and spiders to t-rex and Bigfoot. An absolute must of your an archer!

These guys made a very good first impression. The shop is clean and neat. A professional staff that will answer questions professionally. They have a 10 - 40 yard indoor shooting range. You can choose to shoot spots or life sized 3D targets or pop up targets. They carry and service most major brands of bows. Update after 8 months they continue to ROCK!

Fun indoor arcehry and great staff.my brother in law brought me here when we were visiting, it was a nice surprise, he doesnt participate in the sport at all that i can tell, but the staff walked him through the in-s and outs made us both comfortable and then got out of our way and let us have fun. i personally prefer outdoor ranges, but i think this works very well overall

Jesse was great. I bought my first bow today. He let me practice and then set it up for me. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable with great customer service! Also just fun to shoot at the animals in the range. My goal is to kill the Sasquatch.

Hello everyone this place is fun the people are great and friendly. They helped me out big time with some Crispi Nevada boots . They had to order them for me but the called me with In 3 days that my boot arrived . Go check them out.

Since I drew my archery hunt back in April I have been going to hit or miss for everything archery and these guys all have been a great help. They are all knowledgeable, experienced and never hesitate to help me! I will be going back after hunting season and recommending friends and family to good.

I felt like I was back working in the shop back home they made me feel welcome and allowed me to be a part of my tuning process witch I appreciate. I just wanted to share my experience with the staff at hit and miss. I have a older Hoyt Spyder bow and it can be difficult to find parts for my bow. I was recommended to try hit and miss by a friend of mine and I cannot say I was disappointed in any way. I was looking for some cam mods to change my draw length I went into the store they did not have the mods I needed but offered to order me a set for a fair price they looked at my bow and recommended a new string which was way over due. I decided to purchase the mods and the new string from this shop and when the parts I ordered came in they installed them and tuned my bow I was very pleased with the out come. I would recommended this archery shop to anyone who needs their existing bow worked on or who is in the market to purchase a new bow. I want to thank Neil and his staff for great service.

Everyone here is super nice, very knowledgeable and willing to help you every time I come in. My wife who has never shot a bow before came in and was walked through selecting her first bow. Cody helped her every step of the way and even helped her shoot on the range. They do get busy at times but I’m always willing to wait because the service is the best I have had in Albuquerque.

First year bow hunter here, am still intimidated by the archery world. I can see that their priority is making sure your needs are served. Super knowledgeable and helpful techs. Just make sure you get servicing done several months before the hunt, they get busy!

My first time here, just moved from Arizona and was looking for a Archery place that I can get my stuff. I called and spoke with John, got the location and went there few days later. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by everyone and John was there to help. He tuned my bow, check everything to make sure that it was ready for my hunt. He went above and beyond what I expected. They have up to 40 yard range and selection is better than Ive ever seen. The owner is there to make sure everyone was helped. What else can you ask for? Nice job.I now have a place to go when I need anything for archery.

My wife and I decided to get into archery. I hadnt shot a bow in about 20 years and my wife was new to it. We bought a couple of bows online and took my wifes bow in first. As we walk in we were immediately greeted. The gentleman helping us was named Mike, very friendly and extremely helpful. Mike helped is with everything we need and answered all our questions. A few days later I took my bow in to get setup. It was a Saturday and it was very busy, again I was immediately greeted and was told theyd be right with me. I didnt have long to wait when a gentleman named Neil helped me. Very friendly and helpful. He setup my and made sure everything was working correctly and made sure my sights were good to go. Great service, friendly staff, and knowledgeable in what they do. Ill recommend Hit or Miss to all my friends. Thank you!

They honor our Second Amendment rights!!!They are very helpful and give one on one attention. They helped me pick out my daughters bow. She loves it. I cant wait to go back and try out their range. BTW, they have the coolest 3 dimensional shooting range Ive ever seen.

Came in knowing nothing about bows, which I informed them, I came in to by a used bow . They sold me a Mathew bow which was made some where between 1993 and 1997 with a 32 inch draw length, which they never measured and told me this bow fit me, by standard measure ment my length is 29. Inches, also I later found out the bow was not even strung right. I purposely went into a bow shop to get a bow that would fit me and be in good working order, neither of these 2 requirement were met. I believe they took advantage of me not knowing anything and selling a bow that old for the price they charged, was ??????.I even asked the model and they told me solo cam, I looked for the model name and could not find it later when I got home and removed the tape with price, lo and behold there was the model. Very dis honestUpdating this review, Marcos called me because he was concerned about my first one star review, I never expected to hear anything. He listened to my complaints and conerns. He wanted to turn my experience around and keep a customer. To make a long story short, he ordered a new cam for the bow to fit my correct draw length at no cost and I will be a returning customer.

I have been going to HoM since they opened and I have never had a bad experience. They are awesome, honest folks running an honest business. Very friendly staff, always felt like the Cheers is the archery shops “where everyone knows your name!” I am not a wealthy man, so my purchases are limited, but any time I need help with adjustments on my bow, the staff was more than willing to talk me to the ranch then head to the shop counter and a couple times tried not to charge me for the minor adjustments. Neil is a great guy and I’m glad to see him and his family blessed for delivering an great honestly business model! I recommend Hit or Miss to everyone!

Great place to fail in your bow

I went and got my arrow shafts fletched and they didnt even align the nocks with the fletching.... I spent 55 bucks for the fletching and inserts.

This place used to be a great place to get work done on your archery equipment. Lately the customer service hasnt been so great in my last few visits. A lot of people that worked at the archery shoppe, and provided the same bad customer service, now work here.You shouldnt have to walk into a place like this and ask for help while every regular that walks in the door after you is greeted and asked what they need. I did not want to switch to another bow shop but as I no longer feel respected for my business as a customer that comes in a few times a year I am going to.

My nine-year-old daughter and I had a great experience from now on I will go there for all my bow needs! If you have kids that are looking to get into shooting a bow I would highly recommend them. They are great with kids and set them up the right way. Best place around!!

These guys are legit! I brought in a new bow (which wasnt purchased through them) got an arrow rest and stabilizer and they still went out of their way to help me get everything set up. Super friendly staff and had me shooting bullet holes through paper before I left. Looks like I have a new favorite pro shop. Thanks Cody for getting me set up right!

This shop was recommended to me by someone I know. Unfortunately I experienced the same 1-2 star reviews that other people experienced. I walked in as a first time customer and will never return to be treated the way I was treated.

I am extremely unsatisfied with the service here. I had came in to upgrade bows and upon doing so when I arrived it wasnt very busy (maybe 3 or 4 customers) I walked around looking for about 20 minutes in hopes one of the staff would approach me, they did not. I made eye contact with 2 of the staff and they completely ignored me. I got too see some of the inventory and in my opinion theyre way over priced. I ended up going to another shop in the area and they had the same bow I wanted for much cheaper. Theyre range is nice but also way overpriced. I DO NOT recommend to anyone.

One of the best archery shops Ive done business with. I dealt with Roman, Mike, and Johnny and they were all fantastic! I live 3 hours from Albuquerque but will make the drive anytime I need my gear worked on or a new bow.

The great bow techs here know what they are talking about. Great customer service and follow through. They set my wife up perfectly from picking the bow to getting her sights zeroed in. Im going back tomorrow to get my new compound bow and I know I will have a awesome time!

Drove in from out of town and 20 minutes before closing. They stayed late to make sure my bow was tuned for this season. Excellent customer service.

These guys were awesome in helping me find my first bow. I also had a part that broke on the bow within the first week, and they replaced it for free. Every guy Ive met at the shop has been super helpful.

My husband and I went to Hit or Miss to get his bow all set up. He is new to bow hunting so he was looking for advice. Nick was extremely helpful, he spent time walking us through everything we didnt know, and never mad us feel uneducated about bows or bow equipment even through we are. Sometimes it is a little intimidating to get into a new sport or hobby but Hit or Miss took all those fears away. We will be back.

Heard about Hit or Miss a few months ago. Stopped by for a look, about 20 minutes total. Nobody even acknowledged my presence the entire time I was there. Nothing special about the retail area, shooting range was large with quite a few 3-days targets. Personally would never pay the high fees to shoot there. All in all quite a disappointment from the word I had heard on the street.

Hit or Miss has the best customer service in town. They went the extra mile to get me exactly what I wanted, I have a great experience every time I visit and I highly recommend.
