This was my girlfriends vehicle after searching around for a good auto body shop we decided on these guys. Unfortunately this was the wrong choice. It took 3 weeks longer than expected, not because of anything out of their hands. We were told they just overbooked themselves. The pictures weren’t everything wrong with her brand new car (6 months old). The hood is still rough to the touch, sounds like sandpaper when running your hand over it. They forgot to wet sand it. When replacing the hood, they forgot to hook up the windshield washer tube. The entire engine bay was cooked with blue wiper fluid (huge fire hazard as well, as wiper fluid is 50% methanol). TONS of clips missing in the wheel wells for the wheel well liners, I had to straighten the hood for her. Horrible customer service and the work performed was a mess. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I’m sure they’re going to say something about their lifetime warranty, but if the work performed was done correctly the first time, there wouldn’t be a need for me to bring the car back to them, right?Live and learn

This place was amazing. I was in a hit and run and brought it in and they worked with me and my insurance through out the whole time. They made the time I brought it in to the time I got it back stress free. They would call me with updates on whats going on and were very polite. When I got my vehicle back. I was very please with the results. I am very thankful for the hard workers in the shop and the lady who handled the paperwork from the start. Keep up the good work.

They were my go to shop untill I end up having to sue them currently. they almost killed me with bad work and they will break parts on your car and then ask u to pay for them to fix it. They are horrible at keeping in touch or give call backs . very disappointed with my experience and I dont recommend this shop for any kind of work honestly one of the worst body shops in Albuquerque

I was referred to Ross at Duke City Dent by Bernie at Duke City Auto Body and Collision Center. My wife and I live in Los Lunas and she works in Albuquerque. Ross went above and beyond (in this weather) by picking up and dropping off my Wifes SUV, fixed like new an almost basketball size dent in her rear quarter.She is very happy to see that eye sore gone...so am I lol!Thank you all at Duke City Dent!

Worked with the folks at Duke City Auto Body for a door repair. Audi and their staff are top notch in regards to professionalism. I had backed up against a pole and sustained damaged to my passenger front door. The car is in otherwise good condition, but old, so I opted to have them order a door for me. They were able to find a good door, same color with minimal wear and tear. The door was installed, buffed and ready to go in short order, hard to believe how horrible it looked when I dropped it off several days ago. Would definitely use agin.

Took my car here for rear bumper repairs due to a car accident. I spoke to Audi upfront, she was very friendly and helpful. They dealt with the insurance company. They estimated it would be fixed in two days and sure enough I got my car before the end of day two. Very easy, professional and straight forward repair. Work looks great! Would recommend.

Worst service ever. They will keep your car forever and NEVER call you about it. Expect them to tell you Itll be done tomorrow every time you ask or We will call you tomorrow with an update and then NEVER call you. Incredibly expensive too. Not their responsibility if they scratch your car in their possession either.The work itself is just as terrible. I already have to take it somewhere else for the same issue I brought it in here for.MOST OF THE REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FAKE. This shop is a Joke. The day after I posted this 1 star review, he had 4 others post 5 stars. 2 of them were by the same guy who was voted this shop 5 times. he just has his friends and family give him reviews to look good. Such a disappointment.Never ONCE called me when they said they would. That was incredibly frustrating. I was told by the staff that it would be done on this date, that date, or this date. Or that I would be called on this date with an update for 3 1/2 MONTHS. Not once did they call, and they kept adding stuff. Always felt out of the loop and lied to. If you cant give me an ETA, then stop giving me a date when it will be done, when it wont be done. Tell me, I dont know, maybe 3 months.

Hands down, the best auto body repair service I’ve ever had. The job I needed done was small, but they didn’t speed or gloss over it. It was done quickly, efficiently, and the work was high quality. No one ever wants to be in a position where they have to get body work done, but if it happens to you, I’d highly suggest going with Duke City. I know I will. Thank you guys very much!

I was traveling in vacation and had a bit of an accident in Idaho. When i arrived in Albuquerque, i had my cousin help me look for a place in town. Found Duke City Auto Body and was instantly sold. Customer service is above expectations, speed and accuracy and they did all they could to ensure i did not waste my money on unnecessary repair work like most auto body shops. I honestly wish i could bring all my vehicles here and get them all cleaned up and taken care of!

I highly recommend this shop!! had a hub bearing completely lock up and blow out on my Dodge Dakota and i thought for sure i was looking at thousands of dollars in repairs and thought for sure id be riding the bus for at least a couple of days. That wasnt case at all. The owner Bernie Garcia had me back on the road in a couple hours. Keep in mind that bearing housing was completely seized on the drive shaft!!! Bernie had to bring out his torches and heat it up and slowly work the seized housing off.This shop went above and beyond my expectations and this wasnt my last visit. I came back to have my Air Conditioner Compressor repaired a few months later and had the same great service and even learned some new skills. However i think that deserves a post of its own. Nice people and professional honest service!!!

Id highly recommend this shop! They were extremely helpful and really worked with us to get our car back on the road after it was rear ended. The car looks great and they were able to help us out with a replacement battery even after the insurance company wouldnt help us.

These guys saved my life! I had closed the garage door on my wifes new car - with the trunk open - and the bar on the door cause deep scratches on the lip of the trunk. Needless to say, my wife was none too happy with me! And it wasnt covered by insurance - so was going to be an out of (my) pocket expense. I saw Duke City Auto Body & Collision listed in a review, naming them as one of the top ten body shops in ABQ - I had 3 different places on my list, and they were the first, so I took it for an estimate! They were able to buff out the scratches there and then - and it cost me less than $30!! They could have easily told me that the whole trunk lid would have to be repainted and I wouldnt have know the difference - I was fully expecting it to cost me hundreds - but they gave me an honest opinion and were prepared to test out the buffing solution to see if it would work! Am hugely grateful! Lovely, friendly people - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

So I had small damage to the back right door. Moulding ripped off and some scratches. Call my insurance and took my vehicle to car crafters where they quoted me just under $1800 to fix. Really!!!!! I then called duke city Auto body and collision. Talked to Rob and he told if I went and bought the mouldings myself he would put it on and take care of the scratches for no cost!!!. I would highly recommend this body shop. Took about 30 minutes and my issue was fixed and like I said they did it for free. The staff is super friendly and honest. Give them a call before going somewhere else. Thanks guys!

Amazing work at an unbeatable price!!! My 2003 Chevy Silverado had a damage tailgate; he fixed it immediately. Both owner and workers were professional and friendly. I ended up with an imaqualate job very happy. Thank you Duke City Auto!!!!

My car was in the shop twice here. The driver door needed to be replaced. when it was done the first time it was a very sloppy job and not fixed. in addition, my headlight didnt work, the gas cover door was so loose it was about to fall off, and the outside mirror was so loose it was about fall off. The window was loose and rattled and had bad wind noise. Took the car back a second time because more parts were needed to fix the parts that were bent at the shop and a part of the outside trim that should have been replaced the first time. After the second go around, the door is still not right and rattles a lot. My new door also has a ding in it. The owner didnt seem to care about my complaints, concerns, or the very poor workmanship. Seems the rear driver door was also taken apart for whatever reason. The top of the panel is pulled away from the door, the strip against the window is bent and not on evenly, the bottom part of the door panel not flush with the door, and the window snags as it is rolled up and down and this door also rattles and has a dont know what took place at this shop with my car the many days it was there, but it is definitely in worse shape now than it was when I took it. This is a car with only 24,000 miles on it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was devastated when I got in my car accident because I had just gotten my car but BMac and his team did an amazing job! My car looked brand new when they were done with it! Patty and BMac are amazing and if you are on a budget, they will work with you to get you the best deals! All of their work is also warranteed for life so you can have peace of mind getting your car serviced here. No need to look any further for a car service!

Duke City did fix my car properly and therefore gets 3 stars. It would be higher except for these reasons:1) They had my car 2 months and I got no phone calls with updates. They called my husband twice - once to tell him the car would cost $2400 more than original estimate, and once to tell him it wasnt ready on the promised date. I can not figure out why Patty would call my husband instead of me, even though I kept leaving my phone number.2) After they missed the delivery date of 8/13, I was told 8/25. I called repeatedly until I finally got confirmation on the amount and the date. When I arrived the car was in terrible shape, it was dirty inside and out and the front end was in pieces. It was very distressing to see the car in such awful shape after so much time. BMax asked for $5000 anyway to continue work which totally blew my mind. I refused and told him I would pay when he fixed my car.3) I made phone calls to see what my options were after this dismal visit. Both motor vehicles and my insurance company recommended I tell them to put a mechanics lien on the car and sell it to recoup their costs. This is action is legal in cases of cost over runs and missed delivery dates. I sent a polite email telling them to sell the car to get their costs back, I had lost confidence in their ability to repair it for me.4) Still no response from Patty on email for two weeks while they finally fixed my car. Then I get threats from Patty - she was suing me for way more than the $8400. And she would sue me $20 a day for storage costs the whole time her lawyer worked on this, and I would pay all her legal fees. This would be a civil suit, since it was not a crime to tell her I couldnt wait any longer and pay so much for such an old car.5) I called to work it out. I still had the $8400. and I was willing to abide by our original deal since they fixed my car. Patty screamed at me a lot, called me names, made false accusations, etc. I called back and told her I was now recording the conversation for my lawyer. She still insisted they were entirely right and they would sue me. Finally she put BMax on who said yes, if I come back with the check they will give me my car back. DUH thats what Ive been wanting for the past two months.6) I bought the car to Honda immediately after this ordeal, and there was a loose piece below that was clanking but no big deal. The car still needed motor mounts and a serpentine belt, which BMax told us about so we were expecting the additional cost.All in all, we are glad to have this car back. However, if we knew the total cost would be up near 10,000 at the start we would not have proceeded. The body shop claims thats not their fault or problem, if we tell them to proceed we have to pay whatever it costs, even if its thousands more than we were told at the start.And the lack of communication and missed delivery dates were very distressing. With so much money on the line, a person wants to know whats going on and when to expect the vehicle back. If you use this body shop, go visit them to get info. Even if Patty tells you on the phone its not necessary, it is necessary if you want to know whats going on.And finally, when I got upset with the missed delivery date, threatening to sic a lawyer on me without discussion and then screaming at me when I called was behind ridiculous and very unprofessional. Making up stories about phones not working and cutting and pasting emails to make it look like they got my approval after the $2400 additional charges was beyond ridiculous and very unprofessional.But in the end the car was fixed properly and thats what its all about. I sure couldve used a lot less drama, delay, and expense though.
