A competitor furniture store said the sofas we were interested in could be anywhere from 3 to 6 months for delivery! American furniture had several in stock. Good prices and great service too.

Very good follow through! Web site would not let me purchase online. I texted store and received answer in 5 minutes. Jenny was very courteous and professional. We completed transaction in 10 minutes. I am very pleased with service and would purchase again!

Efrain Morales provided the best customer experience of any employee interaction I have had at American Furniture. The other sales team members were either to busy on their phone, or just dont know how to sell. What brings you in today is the most amazing sales introduction possible, but acknowledging your customers is key and only Efrain provided this on a few visits. The main reason I chose to get my mattress from American is because of him- i price shopped (also checked out Mattress Firm- their price was $3 lower) but his customer service and attention to detail is why I ultimately went with them. Sales staff was helpful and pleasant enough. Prices are good. Pickup area customer service not so good. We were told everything was in stock but, it wasnt all there when we went to pick up our order, missing a loveseat. Wasnt really happy at all with the interaction of the pickup area desk people. Just really dismissive about the issue. The gentlemen that loaded our truck were clumsy, banging the partially wrapped couch on the truck edge and scuffing it. Also banged the boxed table while trying to load it. Small things but they add up. I doubt I will shop there again.

Hadnt been here in awhile but I wasnt missing anything. It says its a clearance center but I think the prices are really high. Some of the furniture is really nice but still not worth the prices. I have found just as nice things cheaper online. Also, service was not great, they never asked us if we needed help. Oh well...People have different tastes so this might be the store for you. I’ve been shopping for furniture for a little over 2 months now and I’ve never been to American home until my friends recommended me this place to check out. I felt very welcomed when I was greeted right away through the door. I was looking for a living room set but sadly not much stuff was in stock and I can understand that is pretty much every where right now. I wanted to give kudos to my sales associate Cynthia Olivas. Although I didn’t make a purchase because of the stock issues, she was very kind, easy to talk to and patient and was also willing to check on every item I was interested in. I went into the store looking for a couch that had recliner. My daughter and I saw several and I fell on love with one.A very helpful salesman, Frankie Girón, gave us a pleasant surprise by telling us that particular set was on sale.That made my and sealed the deal.

The sales associate was helpful in checking the availability of the two area rugs that I wanted. She showed me a recliner that was a perfect fit for me although it was in the wrong color but I told her if I could get $100 off I would take it. She went to the manager and got 10% off, enough for me to say yes.

My wife, and I have been to numerous furniture stores in the Albuquerque area looking for the perfect forever dining table.We have never been treated the way your staff treated us while we were shopping here. We were approached by different employees while we roamed around. They were extremely courteous, and willing to run back, and forth to check on product availability. After waiting 9 MONTHS for an item, I called to get a status and it turns out they canceled the order. General Manager says they called and told me it was delayed until December so I canceled it. This phone call never happened. If its not on the floor to buy the day you pay dont bother.

Our sales guy acted like he was doing us a favor when I td him we wanted to buy more than our original couch. thats fine is not what you say to customers wanting to fill a 2000 square foot house with furniture.

DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS HERE!!!! No customer service, dishonest sales people and poor business ethics. I purchased livingroom set always as dining room set and was told I would have my merchandise in 3 weeks. 3 weeks nothing, no contact from American furniture. Called and was told Ill b called back, nothing. Called again and was told furniture will be here in March. March, nothing!! Called, told not until May. They did have a item I order on the floor. I asked if it was damaged and in good shape? Manager told me nothing wrong with table.. Picked up table, got home to unwrap table, leg on table had crack in it, scratches n dents on table. Called Manager, took pictures, said she would take extra off for damage. Told my refund will be place back on my credit card and to this day no refund. Avoid the headache, dont give them your business. They dont care about customers.

What a fun place to visit! This store reminds me of a vintage Ikea circa 1980. Its pretty drab and has a dusty without being dusty kinda feel to it, but somehow that just works and makes this place an EXPERIENCE. Theres selection of furniture items and some really great deals. We managed to snag a great deal on a new mattress, foundation, and bed frame - all for about $1,000.

Meh...while my customer service rep is just fine, Ive been waiting for 6 months for my couch. They dont call to update, I reach out monthly, and Im always told itll be here next month. Finally decided I might just replace what I ordered with something else and was told 6 weeks for that model.... which was the time frame I started out with 6 months ago. If youre buying a floor model or something from the back room, its quality at good prices but for new stuff Im less than satisfied.

My experience began with a representative that was eager to make a good sale. She was kind and very excited about helping us find what we wanted. Unfortunately, my husband experienced racial profiling so he purposely kept moving around to see if he was in fact being followed, and yes he was by 2 representatives who didnt have anything else to do -- all the way out of the building. Also, when we went back on Saturday, I found some coverlets that were marked down but the every day low price was different from the original stickers every day low price so the mark down was 20% not 50% as stated on the new ticket. When the General Manager was called to explain, his explanation didnt make since and instead of saying they made a mistake, he argued with me. Also, when we picked up the items, I did a quick count and told the representative that I believed we should have seven items -- not six. He said we had everything. He didnt bother to double check with me and we had to go back and get the other item. I believe the manager and staff can be trained to be more customer oriented and to treat customers with respect and dignity when entering their workplace. It would also help if they acted more like they were a part of the American Furniture Outlets Family and not just an employee.

We have bought several pieces of furniture these past two years. We have been happy with the quality and delivery. We purchased the protection package and just used it to repair our new sofa. The repairman, Joe, was knowledgeable and professional. The sectional hooking mechanism was replaced within minutes. Will definitely shop at American Furniture again.

After placing an order for a Queen bedroom set at a local competitor, we were told that the delivery was getting pushed back by over 3 1/2 months, I went to American Furniture and found they had three full sets in stock for me to pick up that same day! The quality was far better than what we had ordered through the other company. Because we went during the Labor Day holiday sale we saved over $500 on our new set. Our salesman was knowledgeable, helpful and we completed our purchase quickly.

My experience with american home furniture was fantastic. Non-pressure, helpful sales which is so rare. I was shopping for a bed and mattress and they didnt try to upsell me, in fact, they talked me OUT of a box spring that was unnecessary and would have made the bed too tall. I didnt know that when my bed was being delivered, they also put it together for me. The delivery drivers were very professional and fast. They had my bed unloaded and put together in 30 minutes. If i could give more stars I would.
