I took in a pair of leather boots that were torn up on the heels. The owner did a fabulous job of glueing the leather back in place and polishing them to like new condition. He also cut a belt down to size for my husband. Great work!

Walked in with an unusual item (ice skates). Ted took a look at the tongues that I needed to have altered to fit right and he had it done in a few hours— and for a very fair price. 100% recommend his work and will be coming back for any leather and shoe work that I may need in the future.

Ive used this place twice so far. First time repairing new boots as I broke the hooks. We decided to change them to eyelets and the job came out perfect! The second was stretching a pair of shoes to make them a bit more comfortable. The result was fantastic! Now the shoes fit perfectly! Im so glad I found them for the first job and Ill continue going here for any future needs.

Owner is rude and unprofessional .... he demanded on talking politics and would not quit screaming about opposing views. I tried to remain calm and unopposing .... but he continued to rant. I will never go there again.

I asked the owner to add some grommets to my backpack for better ventilation. He didnt hesitate and he was efficient in getting it done. I bet hes the same with shoes. The price was really fair too. The shop is not convenient to my house but I would drive the 15 minutes there to drop off my shoes.

Fixed my work boots as promised. the sole of my work boots were coming apart. the rest of the boots still have some life left in them. they said they can glue them back but no guarantee as to how long it would hold.just picked themup. they look great. ill be happy if they hold for a couple months.place had great service, a great price and finished when they said.

I have been going to El Dorado Repair since it was near the high school. I was happy to see he moved very close to my home. I get my hand bags fixed there. He is the only place in Albuquerque that I could find that would fix the handles on my handbags. He is very professional. It is true he is not chatty, but I do not go for conversation. He fixed my purse for $20.00. I thought that was reasonable as a new one would cost $50.00 and up. I am very pleased with this repair shop.

Doesnt replace zippers on boots - i have some tactical boots for paramedics that zip up the inside so they dont have be untied and retied everytime they take the shoes off but they need to be replaced. This shop doesnt replace zippers if thats something you need done. The owner was super friendly though and the shop was very clean.

The person that is fixing the shoes should not be the person that greets customers. He is the most rude and unfriendly person Ive encountered in a long time.

Sign on the door says open till 3. Its 2pm and theyre closed. Dont know how they stay in business.
