MG Stone is a diamond in the rough, I have hired their service twice now and couldnt be happier. They were on time, respectful and just went about their business without any problems. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable, their granite is top quality at a reasonable price. I recommend highly and if needed I will hire them again.
Excellent service. Ivy was very helpful and communicated every step of the way. Installers were great as well, efficient, precise and cleaned up! I love my new counter tops!
Working with Deana and Ivy ay MG Stone & Cabinets was wonderful. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and helped me with my decision to pick out my beautiful quartz tile. They gave me written instructions of exactly what I needed to do for preparation of the install so there were no surprise gaps during this project. The installers came exactly on time and did an amazing job dismantling, cutting and installing. They were very efficient, nice and cleaned up after they were finished. What also impressed me was that their measurements were spot on and there was very, very little remnants left. I highly recommend MG Stone and Cabinets on Montgomery Blvd., NE.
I love working with Ivy, she has helped us on two projects so far. MG stone has a nice selection of products at fair prices and Ivy is an excellent and practical designer who is happy to work with our time and budget constraints. She is always upfront about pricing and brings an experienced eye to the design process. In both cases we had space limitations and sizing issues that Ivy quickly and intelligently solved for us. Thanks MG Stone!
While they have fair prices for granite and stone their customer service is shameful. Unless you are both a certified plumber and electrician yourself do not use this company. One would expect a kitchen and bath company to actually know how to install countertops in both a kitchen and bath. But they don’t really. They expect you to both unhook and reinstall ALL electrical and plumbing elements as they are too cheap to hire installers with the proper knowledge to do just that. Then they hide behind, “well you signed on page 14 of a contract that you’re responsible for hook ups.” Absolutely shameful. How many of us in the general public know how to install garbage disposals, sinks, and cook tops? You assume when you hire a company that specializes in kitchens and baths that they would have basic working knowledge of their field. The contractor that recommended them to us is absolutely irate that their service has declined to this level and he will never recommend them to one of his customers again as he was so embarrassed at their absolute lack of professionalism. Then to cap things off, the installers they hired tried walking off our job with the extra, leftover, pieces of granite we paid for and requested they leave behind. I can only assume they would sell the scrap to a boneyard or for their own personal use.I am so upset by their absolute lack of professionalism that this is the first google review I have ever taken the time to write. This company is an absolute embarrassment.
MG Stone was such a great find for us! We had a great experience from their selection and prices to their sales customer service and installation. Our counters look beautiful. I would absolutely use them again!
It was a pleasure working with MG Stone and Cabinets. Everyone was professional and curtious. The workers were done installing my countertops in less than an hour! Very pleased with the final product.
Ivy is fantastic to with with! Excellent prices on counters and cabinets!
MG stone replaced our kitchen countertops. Their prices are fair and transparent, the work was quick and high quality, and when one of the seams failed a year after installation they had someone out the same day to repair it. I’m moving to a new home, and we’re already planning the surfaces they will replace in our new home.
The ladies were very helpful
While I had had several prior excellent experiences ordering countertops and cabinets from MG Stone & Cabinets for some other houses, we just completed (Oct. 2020) some upgrades for our own kitchen. As always Ivy Li and Deana VonFox were extraordinarily knowledgeable, competent, friendly, helpful, and patient with us as we worked our way through the many options available to us, and, also as always, the value (very high quality at very reasonable prices) was excellent! However, the final work product (from the remarkable beauty of the stone to the meticulous attention to detail in the installation) far exceeded our already very high expectations! Well done, MG Stone & Cabinets! I recommend them with as many stars for excellence as I’m allowed to use!
13 months after installing my countertop and sink, my sink came unattached. I called the store and they sent out a repair person within a hour and a half. From the time I called and the repairs made it was approximately 3 hours. NOW THATS SERVICE!
Price is great, staff is great, quartz countertops are beautiful! Highly recommended 👍
I cannot give this company a decent review. The only star I awarded was because of the clearance price offered on the granite I purchased for our bathrooms. In retrospect regarding the clearance price on Namid Green granite it must be because this stone is inferior. I found the backsplash of this product broken and fixed by the installers to try and hide the deficiency. Out of two full slabs of granite there was not enough material to have all of the grain going the same way in the kitchen. The bathroom backsplash is broken through and glued to make it look like there wasnt a problem. The silicone finish work looks like a 4 year old did it. Paint does not stick to silicone and the silicone was smeared 3//4-1 inch up the dry wall. Installers didnt even bother to mask the wall. The painter who has over 50 years of experience who is working in our renovation pointed the paint was repelled by the silicone in beads and traveled across the silicone smear and up the dry wall. The joints where the backsplashes were joined are noticeably uneven. In order to set one counter top the installers pushed the electric outlet into the wall on one side and gashed the other side of the counter wall leaving a 4 inch scrape in the wall without fixing it. They just left. I told MG repeatedly in the process that I was dependent upon them to provide us with a beautiful professional job. I knew a nice granite job when I saw one but have never had granite in our own home. I was assured MG would Take Care of me. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I called to speak with a manager the day after installation in order to stop the permanent sealant job for Monday, Labor Day, because of unacceptable work. I told the receptionist I was disputing my first payment of $4800. I was told the manager was not in. I disputed my first payment on my credit card. MG manager called 2 days later to leave a message stating all correspondence with them must be through e-mail because this is a legal issue with them now. I went in to their shop one week later to attempt to reason with them as to why I am unhappy and was treated with disdain by Deana and she said sarcastically...So your only issue is with the silicone??? She told me to call the owner of the company if I wanted, however, she said he did not speak English nor did he live in this Country. I am so unhappy with the way MG has treated me. There are other issues too numerous to mention here, and I notice several other unhappy and unsatisfied customers reviews regarding MG Stone here that are only a few weeks old. It is so unfortunate and I am just so frustrated with this debacle.
Dont waste your time. The office staff is exceptionally rude. I waited MONTHS for an appointment to template our kitchen for counter tops and three days before our appointment they quit because I didnt know if I was purchasing the material directly or if they were purchasing it from the supplier. I had no issue with purchasing it either way, I just couldnt answer her question are you purchasing it or are we? and I told her I dont know, how does it usually work evidently that was grounds for the office manager Deana to cancel a project wed been working on for two months and leave me high and dry three days before they were starting work. Long story short, find a fabricator that will communicate willingly and answer questions like they are professionals and you are a customer. Novel concept, no?I also don’t see the point in blaming unsatisfied customers for being bad at your job.The granite I wanted was in Denver, which IS actually in our country, believe it or not. And “your local supplier” got mad at me for canceling my preorder because their shipment wasn’t the color or size I was expecting. So I arranged to have the slabs brought down from Denver at my own expense. And after I accepted and agreed to all of your Covid safety precautions in writing (check your email), you can hardly say that I refused them. But nice try.
Im new to flipping houses in Albuquerque. I shopped around and all I found was very high priced granite everywhere. I went to MG and all their prices per sq ft were right there in front of you. They have excellent installers and the prices were unmatched by anyone else. So then I used them again for cabinets. They once again gave me the highest quality cabinets with thousands in savings. Installation was superb on cabinets as well. I’m so happy with their service that I refer everyone over to them and they always have great experiences. Glad I found them, they are great!
They were highly recommend to us and of course they did an excellent job. We are in the process of new construction and we are going back to them for a quote.
Bad measurements, poor customer service. Didnt even care to fix the problem
Very happy with my granite counters.
