Very rude and absolutely not friendly owner.ALL of the computers are very old and super overpriced.Check the models on ebay before you purchase ANYTHING there.

This is the place to go when you were looking for one of those hard to find computer parts or connections or wires or whatever you might need and can’t find it at Best Buy or Walmart or any other main stream electronics store. and chances are if you don’t know exactly what you’re talking about the guy behind the counter will know. And at comparable prices to Amazon or any other online outlet.

A neighbor recommended this store to possibly locate a converter needed for a lamp manufactured in China. Store owner looked up specs from circuit board within the lamp, and determined what size converter was needed. They had at least six bins of converters from old computers, and said we were welcome to look through them to find what we needed. Fortunately, we found a couple of possibilities in the first bin. Owner connected one of them, which worked great. He charged a ridiculously low price for the converter, and I was thrilled with the solution. Very helpful store to use for hard-to-find electronics.

Tom is very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. I feel very comfortable purchasing a used laptop from him.

Im glad I know what I need before I go in cause I try to ask them about doing stuff to my laptop and he says its not possible then you ask him how to do something that you know can be done and by him the short older gent thats usually there wont even give ya tips he is always grumpy short answered and as helpful as wiping before you poo

I wanted to build up a Vintage DOS/Windows 3.1 computer for playing all my old favorite games. I was able to find a cool vintage Pentium 4 with everything I needed for around $70. Want a PS/2 mouse with ball, they have it.Vintage supplies as well as new. I had a good time in that place. They also have more modern computers fully loaded with Windows 10 x64 and all that for a very good deal.Highly recommend!

They wont buy back their own stuff. Do not use this vendor.

For 3 good working computers they gave me $40. If I hadnt been rushed that day I would have left. I know good well they will make at least $300 a computer. 3 dudes taking advantage of women. Nice one.

I asked him if the flash drive I was purchasing was USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 and he told me it was 3.0 and then I got it home and it turned out it was 2.0 he didnt even bother to check. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day but the gentleman didnt seem to want to help me.

I have done business with Mr Tom Reed for 20 years! He is the best computer technician I have ever seen! We have purchased several computers from him. I have even recommend him to my large extended family! They are all very happy with his services! I really appreciate that Tom is very available for any questions I might have. Overall I give him a 5 star rating!

The owner is kind of rude, very short and not at all friendly. Apart from a few legacy and overstocked low value components everything is at least twice what it is worth. The used laptops for sale are listed for what it would cost new 10 years ago when they were made. The desktops are the same situation. Unless you are really extremely nostalgic for that old pc you used to own and want to buy another just like it avoid this place like covid-19 which you might get since the owner doesnt wear a mask either.

Tom agreed to a cash price and then backed out after we agreed and I went and brought back cash. I was very clear with my offer.

Willing to listen and offer a variety of suggestions for my computer problems. His consultation was very honest and offered solutions that met my needs. I appreciated he wasnt pushy or trying to sell me a bunch of stuff that may or may not help, but was honest in giving steps and suggestions on how to move forward.

I came here two years ago, looking for a computer for school. I was guided AWAY from the more expensive computer that did things I just didnt need. I was treated with respect and received a really good computer for an extremely good price. I got a top of the line product, with none of the kinks that come with a new model. It was LOADED with the things you actually need. Plus I got the additional items you might need with a lap top. (mouse, computer bag, precautionary tools.) for under $400.00. I havent had a single issue in the two years Ive had it. I have family members who bought brand new models at the same time. Theyve had a miserable time with them. Ill never go anywhere else! People who are complaining must have either gone somewhere else and reviewed these guys by mistake, or were told they werent interested in buying the computer they were trying to sell. Ive never heard of anyone not being treated with respect and being thrilled with the service and prices that went along with it.

The charger of my laptop broke and I visited most shops in town, but all of them failed to provide a replacement, as it was an obscure European model. These guys took the effort to really look into the problem and order several replacements until they found one that worked.In addition, they provided a cheap laptop that I could use in the meantime, and actually thats the laptop Im still using.They really care for the customer and offer quality products for a very reasonable price. In similar places, I feel like they just want my money, but in this place I felt like they really wanted to help me and offer something that was adapted to my needs.

Run by two guys. Very friendly, helpful, and seemingly knowledgeable. Mostly older stuff, some new. Pretty good prices.

Got more gigs added to the memory of my computer and viruses were removed, really knowledgeable staff, fixed my computer for a very reasonable price fixing didnt take long picked my computer up the next day

Overpriced outdated computers and parts. Just because the system has an i7 in it doesnt mean its worth 500+ dollars especially when its a first gen i7 thats ten+ years old.

I go this place to see what they have because they have so many apple computers more then any other store they also have lots of computers your best bet if you come here bring someone that knows about computers they dont know how to help you and there grumpy old guys about it all there good for is giving them the money they always have some sale but dont buy any apple products from them for MacBook between 13-15 they wantly wanted over 1k for it like I can buy newer 16- and newer for that money even with 200 off still over a grand worst prices same with iMacs and looks like no one ever goes in there the items are as old looking as the guys that run it brought a computer to sell he said my best bet is selling it on my own Im sure he said I could sell it on tinder so take that as you will

FREE DIAGNOSTICS, I could not believe it, but it was really FREE! My computer would not connect to the internet. They didnt just fix my problem, they cleaned the dust out of the box, put on programs to prevent the issue from happening again and only charged $25.00. WOW what a nice group of gentlemen.

I literally dont care about how their customer service is. But, I will say that when I came here, the people in the store were polite enough to suit me. I definitely dont remember them being rude. If you dont need a diaper change and a pat on the head with every monetary transaction, then I suggest coming here for an excellent selection of used desktops and laptops.I buy cheap little laptops here for my small business and every single one was in excellent condition and reasonably priced. I plan on coming here today to purchase another one.

Top notch service and honest, down-to-earth prices. BTW, Ive spent 34 years in the military and moved all over the place, and like I said above, this is the first time someone wanted to find a simple solution rather than sell me something.

Called before i drove across town and rhey said bring my computer, i got there and the guy said hed never even heard of the brand (i bought it from walmart) in the 25 years hes been woking with computers. He ended up not buying my computer which ended up putting me in a desperate situation. Next time ask more questions beforw telling somwone to drive across town dude.

Have done business with Tom and company at ACS for over the past 10 years and theyve always done a great job in restoring my laptop whenever it became infected with a virus.However, the true test of how great these guys are was last week, when a nearby lightning strike delivered a knock-out, EMP blow to my laptop, modem, and external hard drive (and the heating element in my blow dryer to boot).Unfortunately, I wasnt home during the storm and also had left my system on, so there I was dead in the water. So I brought everything over to Absolute Computing Solutions and Tom and his team quickly went to work.While they werent able to save the hardware: the modem and the laptop itself were cooked, they were able to retrieve all of my data from my hard drives and thus save me a fortune in time lost without it. Tom also made me a good deal on a new, used, Toshiba laptop, a new modem, and a new external shell for my external hard drive. Within two days I was back up and fully running once again. Tom has been my computer go-to guy for around ten years now. He has a broad knowledge of computer systems and hardware, and if he doesnt have the answer off the top of his head, he can usually find it for me with a web search. His prices are fair and he stands behind his goods. This is the first place I check whenever I am looking for anything computer in Albuquerque, new or used.

Dont be fooled by these reviews, this place was horrible. The one man that seemed to run the place lacked normal human interaction and communication skills. He was unecessarily rude and lacked in customer service knowledge. I was getting a computer looked at to see if they were interestes in buying, however it was a NEW HP and did have a small crack on the screen, a word wasnt even spoken before he was turning me away in a very rude manner, I was understanding to the fact he disnt want to buy it due to the crack, but the way I was treated was unecessary. I was also actually interested in buying two new laptops but the second his unhappy life obviously reflected onto his work causing him to mistreat customers cost him a potential sell but thats how they enjoy running their business. Great to know. Interesting experience. I have no problem never returning to this struggling local business again. I didnt even want to give it one star. Oh and beware I notice anyone posting a bad review the business attacks them back deeming people theifs and making excuses for their unacceptable behavior and so on.....lets see the excuse I get or the bashing they attempt on my review.

Fair, honest, and straight forward. The owner is knowledgeable in computers. Given the fast, ever evolving technology that comes with computers, he seems to be up-to-date. His prices are good on his computers and computer accessories. I own a really out dated computer that i wanted for gamingand he helped upgrade it enough to where it can play World of Warcraft on a medium/high settings and Heroes of the storm (HOTS) on the lowest settings with no lag. Im poor, not very knowledgeable in computers, and like straight to the point service that this guy provides.

My first dealing with Absolute Computing was when I purchased a refurbished external hard drive for a client that stopped working after three weeks, and I have reluctantly gone back a couple of times since to buy used power adapters. Each time I go there I like them less because the service is mostly rude and the products are questionable.
