Staff wants to serve and Dr. Andreatta was easy going, pleasant, asks good questions, easy to understand, double checks his work. Very happy with this visit.

Jeremy and Connor were amazing Unfortunately they did not take my vision insurance, But they did give me a great deal on a pair of glasses that are out of this world.. I after being in customer service for 35 years was extremely impressed by the staff at Casey optical.. I would highly recommend this location on manal to Manuel to anyone looking for great service and beauty for great service and beautiful glasses.

I came here to buy my first pair of progressive eyeglasses and paid a lot of money for a pair of eyeglasses that never worked. Ive been back here numerous times since then and still they have not been able to fix it. I still cant use it to read or use the trifocal, its basically an expensive pair of single vision glasses. The opticians also scammed me into buying extra breakage insurance and when I went to try and use the insurance they told me they no longer take my vision insurance. This means they will not let me use the breakage insurance, I would have to pay out-of-pocket to replace my glasses. When they did this scam before I bought the frames and lenses; I even told them I already have scratch insurance on my vision insurance and they said this is extra. This is to replace the whole pair of glasses frame and lenses if any is broken or I just want a new pair of glasses I get one per year. They convinced me to pay for this extra insurance which I did and now I cant even use it and they no longer take my vision insurance just so I can no longer go here.

Went to Casey optical for the first time on monday. As far as eye exams go, this was my third time outside of school so third in over 25 years.this will be my second pair of prescription glasses and my first was less than 3 years ago (broke and because the experience at the eye place was that bad. I was reluctant to see another eye dr. But my eyesight had different plans. I really must say that casey optical hit a homerun and i missed their call yesterday so I will get my new pair today. Great people, they did an exam in 1/4 the time of the last place and the glasses took 48 hours to arrive. I am excited and relieved to be able to see well again.

Use to be great. Got glasses from them a couple years ago and they were fine. Ordered contact. Took 23 (was told 5-7) days to come in. Went to an appt two weeks ago that made me late to work because a simple eye exam too over 2 hours. Was told I could get my glasses within 10 business days. Today is day 11, no surprise, no updates. Left a voicemail. Never got a call back. Not anticipating a call back with my update. Let’s see how long I get to rock these broken glasses.

Did you know that their providers can leave you waiting 15 or more minutes, but I was 10 minutes late in checking in, due to a traffic accident. The appointment was for my 92 year old mother. The receptionist said that I was Outside the window for my appointment. WHAT? I told her that there was a traffic accident and she asked, Did you try to call? My last appointment with them I know I waited 20 minutes for the provider to see me. Its also no where on their website that there is a window for checking in. So, seriously find another optical place.

I saw Dr. Morgan, she gave me a prescription for new glasses. I trusted her and did not look at the prescription. If I had I would have noticed that she didnt prescribe a bifocal. Since I didnt like their frames I went elsewhere for glasses. When I received my new glasses I couldnt see near and took them back. That is when I found out a bifocal hadnt been prescribed. I called the office and was eventually told Dr. Morgan said she had discussed with me that due to the prisms needed in my lenses a bifocal wasnt possible. We did not have that discussion. I went to another provider who told me that is not correct. I had to buy another pair of glasses with the new prescription. This was an expense I hadnt planned on and should not have had to make.

Can I tell you how much I love Casey Optical Too? I actually look forward to come in for my eye exams. The staff is fun! They are skilled~ they know their trade. They are courteous and kind. They will help you get the most for your money and insurance. And go for the Optomap exam and see how beautiful your eyes truly are. ♡ And last but not least, you are given a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. 🍪

I am writing this review for the frame portion of the business. They are great. Both my mom and I happened to break our glasses frames within a week of each other. We both took our frames there and they fixed them for free. They were also very helpful in looking for a new pair of glasses without being pushy to buy anything. I also had my toddler with me and the crew was so friendly and nice and kept him engaged and provided him with some candy, so I was able to look around. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would certainly go back to buy my frames from them. They have a very large and extensive collection with traditional as well as more modern frames and everything in-between, so there is certainly something to appeal to everyone!

I hadnt been to an eye Dr in over 20 years. My friend Tammie referred me to Casey Optical Too. I am so glad she did! From the time I walked into the door to the time I left I felt welcomed. The office is very clean and followed Covid safe practices. Dr Hands was so kind and professional. I ended up getting a new prescription (which I knew I would) and Jeremy helped me find just the right pair of glasses. He told me that I would receive my glasses in 7 to 10 days and I was pleasantly surprised to get a text saying that my glasses were ready for pick up in 5! When I went to pick them up the young lady (I dont remember her name) took the time to make sure they fit perfectly. Thank you again to your Team! I will make sure to not wait so long to get my eyes checked.

Dr Hands is fair. Ordering glasses has been a nightmare. My husband has been waiting for twoMonths on his glasses. Casey was real quick to take payment from us and our insurance. Every time we call them they say the labs fault and the lab is in China. We finally called our insurance after being put off for the 12th time. Casey sent the glasses back without instructions. To the labs in St. Cloud Minnesota. Not China. Will never ever use them again will suggest you go ANYWHERE else

Everyone was nice & friendly, got seen right away didnt half to wait too long to be seen and picked out the glasses that I liked right a way. They were also cautious having hand sanitizer and cleaning frames when you try it on. Overall I had a really good experience with Casey Optical Too.My sister actually refred me to this place and Im glad she did.

I called in advance to let them know exactly what I needed with was a prescription because I was at least 30 to 35 Mi away. It was an emergency. They said sure, come in. There is a little bit of a weight but we can definitely see you today. When I got there the guy with the frosty hair was very insensitive the guy with a very low haircut Was apologetic after I told him that the very least he could apologize because he said he didnt know what to do. All the while the guy with the frosted hair said Either way there is nothing that we can do for you right now. Bottom line they were inconsiderate and very unprofessional. For that very simple reason I would not recommend them since calling makes no difference in their toys to inconvenience and waste my time, effort, and my gas!

Dr. Andrea Hands is amazing, professional and attentive to my needs. The selection of frames is fabulous. My glasses have always fit perfect with no adjustments necessary. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond the call of duty to help you by making scheduling simple, helping with insurance hassles, and making me feel special. This company goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the most accurate prescription. Many of the large corporate optical shops in Albuquerque are out only to meet quotas. This opticians and techs here really take the time to figure out what your eyes really need. By far the best eye care in the city. Highly recommend.

One time, even though I had made the scheduling mistake, they still were able to fit me in very quickly! Best experience, outstanding staff.

I went to my appt as I have done with different optometrist for 20 years. I put my trial lenses in and paid $90 for my contact supply. This struck me as odd since I was sure my lenses were covered by my insurance, but they insisted that was not the case. When I returned a couple weeks later to pick up my new contacts I was informed that they were not ordered. During this couple of weeks my vision coverage terminated. I asked what I paid $90 for? Their reply- “fitting charge.” Never in 20 years had I ever had to pay a fitting charge. Let me explain what a fitting charge is...I put trial lenses inThem: “how do they feel?”Me: “okay”$90So because I was led to believe my contacts were ordered and my insurance was no longer in effect I had to pay $100 for contacts that would have been covered by insurance had they been ordered as requested.Insult to injury- the Rx was wrong and the contacts pop out of my eyes after a couple days. $190 well spent.

Customers service is friendly, very attentive personal with kids. My 5 year old was really hyper and talkative and the doctor was really patient and wait/work with her.Strongly recommend for kids.

I have been going to Casey Optical for years, I went to the new location reluctantly. Dr. Carol was funny, considerate, professional & extremely knowledgeable. She took extra time to look at something that could have been nothing, but turned out to be something. She referred me to Eye Associates for a spot. She was right. I had a hole in my retina & had it fixed at my referral appt. I cant thank her & the staff enough. She is a great doctor & I will be back with all my friends. THANK YOU!

Horrible experience with this place. The elder gentleman optometrist didn’t even seem to care about helping me out. I would ask him questions to help me choose a frame but he gave me vague answers no help. When choosing to customize or add extra features I told him the I want same features as my last prescription. I sat there in silent while he kept trying to calculate the total. There was no communication for what I was charged for. After waiting awkwardly for 30min or so, he would tell me the final price but come back and says he forgot to add an extra “$10”. I pay the total anyways. Almost three weeks go by, and Im having to call to check on the my prescription. The lady on the phone states they don’t have my prescription and she will call back. A day goes by and they magically found my prescription. When I picked up the glasses, it didn’t have the features I wanted. Frustrated as I was I just left. About 2 months go by and apparently I have a balance due? I’m confused because I paid in full before the prescription was ordered. Definitely won’t be going back

I have been going to Casey optical for years Casey Optical too is small quaint warm and inviting. They have a great selection of glasses that is different from the other store. Dr Hands was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The ladies up front definitely know what they are doing and have a great personality.

Dr. Hands and staff have been walking me through pre- and post-op for my cataract surgery on both eyes. I couldnt be happier with the care and attention Im getting. They also are pretty darn good at scheduling. Ive never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time.

This office got both my glasses and contact lense prescription wrong. I went to another eye doctor for a second opinion, and they spent way more time with me to double-check my correct vision prescription. I felt pretty disappointed that the doctor here was unable to spend enough time with me to ensure she got the right prescription. I wasted money on lenses and contacts here.

Horrific service, inappropriate behavior, and offensive!!!

I was very happy with my experience at COT. They worked with me to make sure all my expenses were covered through my insurance and their eye exam and contact fitting was the most thorough one I had ever had! They exceeded my expectations.

I cannot recommend this business. They overcharged me $230 for a pair of glasses. When the staff realized the mistake months later, they reported the employee responsible for the transaction had already been fired. They refused to refund or compensate me for the gross over charge in goods, services, or cash. They insisted that the best they could do is offer a new pair of glasses lenses, roughly a $130 value. A business should review transactions to catch these mistakes and they should have to eat the cost of refunding the transaction.In addition I had many customer service issues such as being hung up on or cut off multiple times on the phone, very long hold times for assistance on the phone, being told different prices by different people for the same item, and when I went in for the new lenses I waited 30 minutes before being acknowledged or helped. I will not be returning there for business and I suggest you look elsewhere, too.

I was not satisfied with Casey Optical Too service.I had an appt scheduled, in which, I arrived 5 min prior to my appt. The receptionist had me fill out the paperwork. AFTER I had filled out the paperwork, the receptionist notified me that they were running behind and asked if I wanted to wait or reschedule. I asked how long the wait was. The receptionist indicated 20 min. Considering I was already there and I had filled out all of the paperwork already, I agreed to wait. That 20 min wait ended up turning into 60 min. At that point, I went to the receptionist and asked to cancel this appt. The receptionist asked if I wanted to reschedule, in which, I replied no.I strongly suggest this office work on its scheduling as there was several other people waiting in the lobby area too. Also, please let the patients know how long the wait is PRIOR to making them fill out all the paperwork.

They have a great selection, better pricing and the staff is extremely helpful. Living in the East Mountains, it is very convenient having the office on Eubank instead of Lomas where we originally had to go. Definitely worth the drive into ABQ.

I went in after reading many great reviews. I had a great exam with the doctor. After that, a complete breakdown happened. My prescription is high so understandably they had to order a trial pairs for me. The doctor wanted me to try a few different brands so I was okay with waiting what she told me would be a day or two for them to come in.A week later I had not heard back from them so I called. I was informed that nothing had been orderedand that they could not order them at that time because the doctor was out camping and they didnt know what to order. They were supposed to have ordered it the same day as my exam A few more days passed and I never heard from them. I went into the store and found out that they had been there for a few days. This was only after they scrambled around the store checking boxes and different locations for them for about 20 minutes. I had never received a call from them. I proceeded to try out my contacts and found out that I needed to have a toric lens.Again, understandably they would have to special order my high prescription lens. Another week passed and I did not hear anything from the office rather than calling I decided to go in again. They told me that the order was placed and it was apparently delivered but it was nowhere in their store. They could not find it. They assured me that they would order it AGAIN and it would be in by the next day. I informed them that I would have to work and would be in 2 days after that. They told me that they would call me when it came in, although I knew they wouldnt. On my next day off I return to the storeand asked for my contact lenses.After 20 minutes of them scrambling and looking through boxes they found my lenses and I took them home.It was one month from the time of my exam until I was properly fitted and confirmed for my contact prescription.The doctor did a great job of my exam. The 5 to 7 office ladies that they have working there are completely incompetent. Im not actually sure how many office ladies work there. Every time I went in there was a different set. They seem to not do what they say theyre going to do nor do they follow up. I honestly dont understand why they have so many office ladies working there.I will never return to this place. Maybe someday they will get a competent staff.

After four 50 mile trips, one when there wasnt even a Optometrist on duty I finally gave up. I now own a pair of glasses I cant even see to read out of.
