We purchased an Inspire FT2 trainer on 7/18 from Robert Haag. We then waited until 8/3 to have it installed. After they installed it, a day later, we noticed that two of the cables were not routed correctly and the plastic coating was stripped all the way down to the metal. We called them and we were told someone would call us back for more information. No one called us back and consequently when they arrived to fix it they brought the wrong cables. Now we would have to wait again for them to come back to install the proper cables. Because they installed the cables wrong I instantly lost confidence in the installation. I began inspecting the machine more closely. I then find another cable that was also damaged and it seems that the smith machine was assembled backwards. If my machine was assembled incorrectly, Im sure there are others that are assembled incorrectly and potentially unsafe. Not only is this totally unsafe, but this is a $4,000 machine and a $400 install job! Unacceptable!

Bottom line: Machines are not reliable. Staff is fine.Just purchased one of their top of the line $3000 Matrix Ascent A30 trainers last month. Had it delivered and installed just before Christmas up in Santa Fe. After having it for just one week it stops working, bad resistance servo motor. Even after explaining the exact details of the problem to their service department over the phone they are not allowed to order the parts beforehand. They have to check it out first per their rules. Takes 6 days for the next appointment. Shows up, successfully diagnoses problem. Surprise! Doesnt work. Part is ordered, but from all indication it is likely to be at the very least a week out before it is fixed, maybe even longer. Because of how busy the fitness manufacturers are, including Matrix, they can expect delays. So we wont have a replacement part for a while, at least a week but could be longer. We just have a giant piece of metal sitting in our living room that cant be used. By the time it is fixed, even in the best case scenario, we will have had more days with it broken than working. Further, the crazy thing is they have working units of the same model in stock at their store. Because of some mysterious rules they can not a) take a working part off an existing one or b) give us a new one entirely. I mean, if I had truck I could return it (we are within 15 day window to return for full store credit) and then just buy a new working one.While the working staff wants to take care of you, there are enough bizarre rules that I wonder if the owner really knows what is going on. Instead of sending a service person today they could have just sent up a new unit to replace the defective one since it was defective within the first 15 days. I understand it would be completely different than if we used it for 3 months, or 3 years, and we had to wait to have it serviced. But this is at the start of using the product they should stand behind. They should have a policy that if it breaks within the first 15 days they just replace it with something that works.

Not a fan. Went in to get new weights. The lady ONLY talked to my husband (who knew nothing about what I was looking for) He made a suggestion, she said she would get it. I said no, that’s not what I was looking for…She got them anyway and continued to talk only to him (With the wrong weights!)He doesn’t lift I do. She didn’t listen to a single thing I said. Not the type of business I want to support.

Covid procedures? Met! Fitness needs? Met! Friendly humans? You bet!I really like this place. They have or will try to order whatever you want so you can buy locally. They have great prices and have never tried to talk me into anything I didn’t want.

These people are awesome that work here. I have boughten a row machine and a Landis treadmill among some smaller items for workouts. The gentlemen that have helped me multiple time have been nice and knowledgeable, and they are truly honest with the equipment, not just trying to make their customers buy the most expensive. The delivery/ service reps are also very nice and respectful when coming to the house to set up the equipment.

Great selection of gym supplies! You will find pretty much everything you need in a gym. The employees were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Only gave it 4 stars because its on the pricey side. I was looking for my in-home gym, I would not recommend this place for people like me. If you own a gym, this might just be the place for you!

Trying to support local businesses so I went in on a Saturday to look at weight racks. I confirmed inventory with a salesperson (they said they had two in inventory). Went home to swap out my car for my truck to pickup. Called later in the day to let them know I was going in to purchase. Salespeople said they would hold one. Showed up an hour later and it turned out they did not have any of the racks in stock. I understand that inventory mistakes happen. Salesperson said they would check to see if they could sell me the display model, but it would take a bit of time to determine and they would call me back. Salesperson called me a couple of hours later. During that phone call there was no mention of the earlier conversation about seeing if they could sell me the display, but they informed me they could order it and it would take 4-6 weeks. Not really a solution and not effective customer service.

Even with it being busy, everybody was helpful and friendly. They have top quality equipment and I wouldnt think of going anywhere else to do our home gym.

I purchased two decent face shield here for $7 even. Im glad a local business is selling face shields. I dont want to support Amazon, Target, or Walmart unless I have no other option.

We bought a elliptical from this company and when the delivered it it was broken so they bring me a new one 2 weeks later and drop it destroying my traviten flooring and now there Manger Mike is telling me that Im a inpatient person because I want my floor fixed after a month now Im going to be talking to the GM ABOUT ALL THIS!!! NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH EVER!!! SHOPPERS BEWARE!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I payed for the in home installment and the guys damaged one of our walls. I took a picture and sent it to the company but now they don’t want to pay the bill. The bill was $100 when I purchased an item from them that was 3,400. I’m trying to help out local businesses but I will NEVER buy from this store again.I came back to update this. The company made it right.

Very nice people was hoping could find a used stationery bike they had one but was sold.

Not satisfied with this company at all. Called them up to fix a treadmill that was slipping, they fixed that part. But after i tried to use it, the circuit board fried. They say its not their fault or doing, but theyre the only ones to work on it since Ive had the treadmill. I believe the person who fixed the slipping part intentionally did this to have more business down the road. Cant prove it, but i will no longer support this company

We went in to look at inversion tables. The salesman was very helpful, gave us tips, and helped my husband try it out. Gave us info to read. Also, encouraged us to come back about 4 times to try again so we can make sure this is what we want. Our experience was great. We will be back.

We were looking for a semi recumbent elliptical for my wife and I to use. She has an atypical form of Parkinsons and needed an affordable, comfortable form of cardio exercise. We did a lot of research, sat on a lot of machines and found that The Fitness Superstore could beat the online prices of equipment as well as give us great customer service and followup from Robert. Last week, my partner and I purchased the A50 with xir console from the Fitness Superstore. Ive been using ellipticals for my cardio workout for the past 30 years due to meniscus repairs in both knees from running. Recently, one of my knees has been re-injured requiring a possible knee replacement. I tried the A50 at the store and was impressed by the motion and appreciated the demonstration from the Fitness Superstore staff. After purchasing and completing several workouts, I can truly say this is the best elliptical mechanism Ive ever used. I liken the motion to running in a swimming pool, but with the ability to change elevation and resistance. In my right knee, I have periodic piercing pain while walking downstairs. With this elliptical, I have absolutely no pain. The XIR console is okay....but, I do love the virtual video that allows you to feel like you are running in the mountains, along the coast, Niagara Falls,etc. with the elevation/resistance changing to mimic the scenery. I highly recommend this machine for anyone with chronic knee problems and most definitely recommend giving your business to the Fitness Superstore.
