Ive been bounced back and forth with the solar package that cost me nearly $4,000 as far as customer service/sales/tech support. Turns out one of my batteries is not taking a charge and guess what? The two year warranty does not cover the two deep cycle marine batteries that cost $250-$400 EACH on ebay. I expected to have a fully functional gate system for this kind of money (~$4,000) but instead I am stuck with a gate that we must manually open and close twice per day times two vehicles. Amazingly lame gates should be the name of this company. Id expect this kind of debauchery on ebay for a $30 item. I was forced to purchase a transformer to run the system on my own household power which was gladly sold to me by amazingly lame gates...Responses by the company have been absolutely non-supportive to the exact nature of my questions over and over. Sales tells me to contact tech support and tech support tells me to contact sales. Deep-cycle disappointment.

They made our gates and fence, put together the whole package with the motor and everything and shipped across the country. The gates are beautiful and amazing quality. Neighbors always ask where we got the gates from.

We tried calling multiple times and then we went into the store (a hour and a half drive for us). The manager greeted us and took our information for the sales person. The sales person called that Saturday and said they would have a quote out to us on the next Monday. So here we are 10 days later and no word from them. Can you imagine what it would be like if we had actually given our money to them?

Beautiful GATE & wonderful customer service! My husband rarely completes the projects that he starts, but amazingly, with the help of the Amazing Gates customer staff & their excellent products : swing gate, polaris gate opener, solar kit & gate sensors, he got the job done & it looks REALLY, REALLY good: they really live up to their name: AMAZING GATES. I have had my gate system for almost six years and cannot say enough good things about this company and their products.I have a Polaris system, which is discontinued now. Every time I have called technical services, someone answers immediately or calls back right away. That Someone is Gene Johnson and he is a gem. That man has so much patience and knowledge....definitely an asset to his company. When my Polaris systems kicks the bucket, you can believe I will call Amazing Gates.

I dont typically write reviews but I have to say my experience with Amazing Gates was an amazing experience from start to finish. I purchased two 10ft bi-fold gates and all hardware for installation. I was a little concerned doing business not knowing much other than their website. I actually found Amazing gates on google. But a check showed how long they had been in business. I live in Texas and the shipment was great. Amazing Gates were there for me with technical expertise and all along the way answered all of my questions. I installed over the Christmas holidays and it took about 3-4 8 hour days to get everything installed including the gate openers. I have had many compliments from neighbors and family. I definitely will do business with Amazing Gates again. Thank you Amazing Gates for saving me money and for a great customer experience.

I purchased a polaris gate system in 2012 that was supposed to be solor powered. The system worked great for about six months. Then when the winter came it would only work after the temperature increased to approximately above 50 to 60 degrees. Being that we are in central Alabama, the winters are not that harsh. We kept complaining and we were told we probably didnt have the solar panel positioned right. Well I disagreed but eventually we installed electricity to the system. Well that didnt work either. It did work great throughout the summer but not when the temperature was below 50 degrees. This went on until 2019 when the system wouldnt work anymore and we decided to purchase a new different system. We bought the Gatemaster 900 and it worked great all winter until mid April. Well we figured out the circuit board has gone bad which also happened once with the Polaris system. The representative for amazing gates has offered to replace it for free of charge. It is now going on the middle of June and we still have no circuit board and the rep is not keeping us up to date on why or what the status is. Communication goes a long way even if its only to say your product is on backorder or something to let the customer know he or she hasnt been forgotten.

You won’t go wrong doing business here. Quick, easy customer service and they want you to be happy with their gate.Will do business with Amazing Gates again.Thanks for a great product!

Incredible quality and service. Getting ornamental fences and gates out of steel should always be done with a hot-dipped galvanized product with a great powder coat, but sadly most often it is not. If you want a top quality product, great professional service and very competitive prices this is the BEST value in the fence industry for ornamental steel/iron fencing and estate gates. Usually there is an adage, Price, Quality, Service - pick any two. But with the team at Amazing Gates you can actually get all three.

Amazing customer support. My first order arrived with one of the gate panels warped. I contacted Amazing Gates, explained the issue, they apologized and promptly shipped me a replacement. Look forward to purchasing from them in the future.

We started this project of getting new gates over a year ago and have had mutiple meetings about issues since. It’s 12:05am and luckily someone notified us that our gate was open. Just finished driving from home to our office to close our “Amazing Gates”Update 6/25/2018:We are now reaching out to other vendors to fix our issues after repeated phone calls to both Amazing Gates and the contractor that handles installs for them.

Our beautiful gate survived a storm-felled tree that smashed into the top of our gate, lopping off some dozen finials. The gate suffered no structural damage. A slight hinge adjustment set the gate aright and replacement finials for the broken ones restored it to beauty. What a wonderful and reliable gate!

I bought a gate from Amazinggates 20 years ago. It was easy to install. When the operator finally stopped working, I called Amazinggates to order a new one. They recommended the Gatemaster.Something they designed themselves. First, the instructions are so poorly written they are hard to make sense of. When I talked with the tech person, his instructions were better. This gate has no limit switches and depends entirely on a mechanical hinge to limit the opening and closing of the gate. My driveway will only permit an 80 degree opening, not 110 degrees as the manual represents as ideal.I went back and forth with emails and photos with the technician and with the general manager trying every suggestion to get the gate functional. He claims the hinge bolts could be set to accommodate my driveway. But every suggestion I tried didnt work. The gate would not open without banging against an obstruction, nor would it close at the catch post. I explained this over and over to the general manager but he kept asking me to try yet another thing. After a week of back and forth, trying to get him to return calls in a timely fashion so I could tell him what is going on, I am done. I am trying to return this operator and he is the only one that can make that happen. He is not returning my calls.

Be aware that they do not include the cost of shipping in their total price. It’s a small footnote note listed in the itemized price column of their quote/invoice. It’s a bit deceptive because it doesn’t help you the customer understand your all in cost purchasing from them. Shipping and packages fees totaled ~20% of the product cost in my case.

Went to pick up on Wednesday said they could get it to me on Friday and then Monday Could not get a callback then it was Thursday and no call again once they got my money they really didn’t care anymore 10 days later and a wasted week of work and Electricians Standing around not impressed

Second time to use this company but this time everything went wrong. They were quick to blame us on everything that went wrong. Last time the first time the freight was included, the second time they hit us with a huge freight cost. They’re reply was”why didn’t you see in small print the freight charge at button of your estimate”. The freight company they charged us for, would not remove gates from there truck at our residence. We had to get a forklift and they would only give us 10 minutes to do it in. Our problem. Even with a fork lift it was very difficult to get off freight truck. Now it’s on ground with no way to move except with seven or more men to lift it.We started checking boxes and noticed the motor we paid them for was sent to wrong address a week ago. Amazing gates reply, I told you your motor was coming by another way. No she didn’t. Our fault again because we didn’t correct the wrong address they had from first order 3 years ago and that’s exactly what they had to say. It’s our problem. I wish I never spent 4400.00 with this company. I’d advise anyone else to go someplace else!!!

Service was really bad. Ordered gates in June didnt get the gates until second week of October. Then the gate didnt have the mesh backing for privacy for backyard. The took two weeks to get the mesh to me and then it was not cut properly to fit the gate properly.
