Just arrived in ABQ this morning, wife and I thought wed skip evening dinner for some ice cream. Interesting place. Its a bit hard to find. Its off the beaten path a little bit and its inside a collection of multi colored shipping containers stacked on top of each other and around a main square where you can sit and eat by a gas fire pit. The brewery there has a lot of that square for its patrons over 21 yrs old. There are about 10-12 other businesses there and you have to walk into the square and its on the right. My wife had the peppermint chocolate in a waffle bowl and I had the almond amaretto in a waffle bowl. We both really liked our ice cream. It was certainly smoother than any old scoop ice cream shop. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is the selection was somewhat limited. At least what the menu on the wall shows. But sure, give it a try!
Interesting menu- definitely items that got my sweet tooths attention! Seemed like a good portion for the price. I didnt actually get anything this time around. Ill be back to get the full on experience of all that there is to take in and try here and at Tin Can Alley..
Just OMG this is great. We had the Special Dark Chocolate with the red Chile and the Himalayan salted caramel. The red chile adds depth of flavor and not heat. The chocolate is incredible. The Salted Caramel starts with their vanilla and then is mixed with caramel and dusted with Himalayan salt. Words are not enough to describe how happy their ice cream will make you.
One of my favorite ice cream spots in the city. They had a great selection of unique flavors like Chimayo mango, peppermint chocolate, and lemongrass and lime coconut. Their ice cream is made with Nitrogen so its extra creamy. My favorite was their green tea pistachio. It was delicious!! The ice cream itself want too sweet and it comes with a waffle cookie slice on top! Its always fun to watch them mix the ice cream using the nitrogen. This is a great place to cap off a meal and a beer while at Green Jeans and theyre open until 10 pm on the weekends.
This was great I loved it I had the root beer expresso or whatever it is it was amazing definitely a must
I was at green jeans getting a burger and a beer on September 9 for dinner and was standing in the common area by all the restaurants waiting for my order. I look over at the creamery and their female employee had a metal bucket of ice cream that she tasted twice with the same spoon and put the bucket back in the freezer! I don’t know if that gets served to customers or not but ew either way. I was so grossed out!
The taller guy working was super chill, he made a suggestion that I was skeptical about at first but it turned out really good.
Perfect ice cream for a perfect sunday 😋i just loved the taste of the vanilla flavored ice cream .. fresh cut pineapple 🍍 in this mix was just blended & Strawberry diced in the vanilla flavored ice cream is awesome. Its worth a place to must visiy. Will surely visit often here after to try all the kinds.Ambience in this food corner is quite good.. have all varieties of other food corners around.
Love this ice cream. Tried both the blueberry cheesecake and Himalayan salted caramel flavor. Both were perfectly balanced in flavor and sweetness. The blueberry cheesecake flavor has real blueberries in it and was only mildly sweet, which was perfect. The salted caramel flavor had chunks of salt sprinkled on top of drizzled caramel. It was also only mildly sweet, which made it so much better than the traditionally over-sweet flavors at other ice cream shops.
Really good. But tastes like all ice cream with a higher price.
Best ice cream in Albuquerque. I love how they use organic ingredients and exotic flavors :)
I ordered a chocolate shake, all it was, was essentially chocolate milk. Definitely not worth the SEVEN DOLLARS. I should have said sould have questioned it and said something but I didnt. I should have gone to baskin robbins. Definitely from my experience NOT worth it.
Amazing experience! I wanted some ice cream after I’d had And couple of beers. The owner had recommended I try a non-dairy ice cream that had blueberries in it; it was absolutely delicious. The waffle cone that came with it was super flaky and the ice cream was extra creamy
Glorious. Eat here. Do it now. Dont think. Go go go!
If I am being honest, this place is just okay. The venue is really cool and the service is very fast as well. Unfortunately, and as far as the product, $16 for two people to grab a scoop of ice-cream is a little ridiculous even if the ingredients are organic. On top of this, the menu is extremely limited and hard to determine what you are actually ordering unless you’ve been here before.I had ordered a peppermint-chocolate scoop in a waffle cone (the waffle cone is great) and was not expecting vanilla ice-cream with chunks of peppermint chocolate and a dash of cocoa powder on top. I guess I was expecting chocolate ice-cream with peppermints. The ice-cream had zero flavor; I left the venue full but pretty unsatisfied. My husband had the salted caramel, which wasn’t bad, but the caramel topping was better than the regular vanilla ice-cream underneath. Kind of weird that a place charging so much for ice-cream would only seemingly offer vanilla.I’m sure most people will love this place because of the organic ingredients and that’s totally cool, but there are plenty of other nitrogen ice-cream shops with a menu featuring wide variety.
This place is amazing everyone Ive engaged with here has been so happy and more than willing to make my mango sorbet (Dairy Free) with chocolate and tajin sprinkled all over. I wish I would have taken a picture of it to show you how crafty some of these employees are but truly Julian (I think) Thank you!
Ordered a root beer float and they gave it to me warm.
I didnt stop for this store but it looks super cool and was busy when I was at Green Jeans.
The salted caramel is pretty dang good, but I would of liked it thicker, a bit runny for a milkshake.
Tasty and great customer service. It will be a five once the construction is completed.
Really different and tasty ice cream concocted in front of your eyes. I got one made with their cold brew coffee, it was just what the doctor ordered. 😋✌
While the product tasted good, it is far too overpriced for what you get. Also, my salted carmel medium size tasted more like custard (containing egg yolks) than ice cream, which raises even more questions (fears) as to what the ice cream contains - organic or not. Everyone was friendly, and service was fast. The rewards program is also a nice touch. Hey, if you are a hipster with too much money, then this is the place for you. If you are a foodie, there are better options. If youre on vacation and arent on a budget, then try it out. If youre on a date and she wants to go here, shes a good digger and you need to dump her. Just saying...
Unique concept for ice cream. Flavors tasted great, but I dont think that the liquid nitrogen made it taste much different from regular ice cream.
Delicious ice cream! We enjoyed the 4 flavors we shared very much. The 2 larges with 2 flavors each where perfect the 4 of us to share, and we all had plenty of ice cream! It is a great place to take kids they have a big chalk board and legos for them to play with while my husband and I enjoyed talking and watching them play! 2 thumbs up from the whole family!
Servings seem small, but the cream is so rich it feels like a larger portion. I dont think decadent would be a bad description. Very good, I would definitely recommend if youre looking for a cold treat.
Such delicious ice cream, especially the almond one. They even have a good amount of dairy free sorbets. Its also so fun to see them make it like some magic potion!
Really good icecream and very cool to watch when they use the nitro. The salted caramel and the mint chocolate chip are really good.
A bit pricey, but definitely the best Ice cream Ive ever had! Very flavorful and smooth, with less selection than other chains, but still a good variance of flavors. Located in a very hipster atmosphere, with ample outdoor or indoor seating.
Fast service, delicious icecream, and treats look high quality. They have many flavors that taste and look great. One down side is they are pricey, but understandable for the organic ingredients. Also the portions are good size.
Great stuff, fresh ingredients, would liked to have seen a few more options to choose from! Will be back for more...
I got the almond Ive cream and my friend got the strawberry ice cream, both were excellent but the almond flavor was particularly impressive. The staff was friendly and the location was interesting and well kept.
Sooo smooth. Choose your flavors carefully; some are too avant gard to be delicious.
Super pricy for a small cup. Taste wasn’t comparable to other options around town that you can get for much cheaper. Server was kind of rude and short
Really cool watching them make the ice cream to right in front of you.
Great concept for ice cream. Fun way to end a date night.
Fantastic local treat shop amidst various other local eateries in the Green Jeans Farmery. Awesome organic options, and kids had a blast watching them use the nitrogen to freeze the treats through the windows. Totally recommend!
Great ice cream not too heavy with flavors just simple great tasting!
Tried the Himalayas salted caramel, super good, will for sure come back 😊
Tasted good but $5 for a small is too much. No nuts or chocolate even.
Was a little disappointed because I choose a flavor I wasn’t happy with. Then I found out you can sample the flavor before you choose. They should tell you at the beginning, specially if you told them it was your first time there.
Pricy but worth every penny. Yum.
This ice cream got me sick instantly. I had the salted caramel, which barely tasted good for the price. On top of that, service was not friendly. Very disappointed all the way around.
Absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere and the best ice cream ever.
Talk about downhill. One employee is out getting a drink at another shop while the guy on the job is sitting in the back with a “be back soon” sign on the counter. Ice cream is not great anymore or fresh. Frozen now. 👎🏿
I had the java chip ice cream. Nothing special about it and barely could taste the coffee flavor.
Its a fun place and good ice cream!
Great ice cream- cool spot inside of Green Jeans- staff is great- I had the Matcha Pistachio(amazing)- go checkem out- you wont be disappointed
Ice cream was great. It was fun watching it being made but pretty pricey even for organic ingredients.
They have great specialty ice creams!! I would recommend them anytime!!!
Good but very expensive. Fun to watch them make their ice cream.
The nitro fog float was so good! Highly recommend.
Original flavors and great tasting ice cream
Creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had!
Great Product, Good Vibes, little pricey but worth it👌
Awesome little ice cream shop with delicious choices.
Awesome place. Kids had a lot of watching them make the ice cream with the nitrogen.
Great ice cream!
Some of the best yogurt I’ve ever had
Best ice cream in ABQ!
Not bad ice cream but over priced. Nice location
Great ingredients make great ice cream!
Comparing to its prices, the taste of most options is normal
The best ice cream ever.
Amazing ice cream!!! Super creamy!! 😊
The ice cream is very tasty. But its extremely expensive.
The product is amazing but the customer service is horrible we ordered specific items were given something different then told we could pay the extra to get what we wanted.
The ice cream was incredible!
Ice cream came in minimal flavors, which weren’t too good.
Overly priced salted caramel no flavor.
Way too sweet for my taste.
Love the ice cream
The salted caramel is a must!
Alright for too much work
Good unique flavors, only a small selection
Delicious! Best ice cream in town!
Vegan icecream is like unicorns
Wow. Go there.
Way too expensive.10 bucks for two small scoops of ice cream? They dont post the price either.Wont be returning.
Super creamy and delicious
Amazingly good
Best ice cream !!
Awesome.
Darn good!
