Pop Fizz is my go-to spot for paletas, and dont get me started on their ice cream tacos! You can taste the quality of their ingredients and prices are super affordable. Walking in is like entering a rainbow wonderland of yum. I also love seeing their food truck and honestly cant think of a time I didnt get something when I saw it! Local perfection.
I love pop fizz. Great food, great ice cream, and great customer service. It is well run and I am very sad that it is closed. The virus has been a hassle but I can’t wait for them to open again. Great job!
They catered our wedding and did an incredible job. We asked if they could do churros, which is not an item they normally do, along with their ice cream and espresso and they agreed to do it anyway! Carlos, the man running the truck, was super friendly and easy to work with as well.
Cute snack shop in the Hispanic Culture Center has food (sandwiches, frito pies), ice cream, sodas, and beer. Outside area has shaded picnic tables and there are also a few tables inside. It gets crowded inside because of the way the counter is set up, so send one person in to order. My favorite is pistachio paleta.
Just got a vegan cookies & cream paleta from the pop fizz truck at the Rio grande Bosque off alameda... omggg so good 🤤
The google listing of the menu is outdated!! Get current, Google! The staff were friendly, service great, clean and even room to sit inside( 3 tables and stools at a bar). Opens at 11 am, and paletas are delicious- $2.50 each. Chocolate tacos are $6. The quesadilla comes with sour cream and guacamole, adding the grilled steak for $2 made it almost $7. But delicious!! Such flavorful beef.Hope to go again and try one of their many creative flavored popsicles!!
Great ice cream and ice cream bars. The customer service is very helpful. It is very creative as well for example you can cover your ice cream bar in dark chocolate. I highly recommend this place if you ever need ice cream.
Great place for after dinner treat for the whole family. Even has boozy desserts for adults. Great flavor combos and vegan options. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend
I stopped by their cart at the Bachechi Open Space after a 4 hour trail ride for a popsicle today, and the guy running the truck was absolutely delightful...so much so, I couldnt just stop with my Root Beer Float, I added a Watermelon as well (admittedly, I was torn between the 2, but he was so sweet I had to get both). There are not words enough to describe just how delicious and spot-on the flavors were!! It was childhood on a stick! Somehow, these treats didnt immediately melt in the 104° heat, so I could savor both properly. I work and ride near this location and will definitely be looking for this truck again and again all summer!!! You owe this popsicle to your 10 year old self, trust me.
Their ice cream is so good! A great variety of flavors available and they add new flavors often. I love to come here when I feel like having yummy ice cream. On the other hand, their cheesesteak are not very good, I would go somewhere else if you wanna have cake or a pastry.
Dropped in here after viewing the Art at the Hispanic Culture Center. What a great thing to do after seeing inspiration, here you get to taste it. The young lady behind the counter had given Her favorites after we ask but I always go for what My taste Buds would like to try first. I wasnt disappointed with My choice, pecan/cajeta!!! Cant wait to try another flavor soon!
Pop Fizz has warm, fresh, delicious, churros! They are out of this world. The best Ive had and Ive had them in Mexico plenty of times. The paletas are refreshing. Im glad they re opened back up for weekends. Cant wait till they open daily. The drive thru very convenient.
Vegan options, including the churros! No vegan ice cream yet. Fun adult drinks. Small space filled with good fun.
My loved ones and I ate here and the girls (Andrea and Len) were so nice and understanding about our food options! Thank you for being awesome to my daughter and my friend! 💞
Customer service was great! I had the cookies and cream ice cream taco and was not disappointed. Love it!
AMAZING! SOOOOO DELICIOUS! The products are amazing, the people are very friendly and helpful! The owner, I think his name is Lorenzo, is super talented and I cant wait for some of his awesome thoughts and ideas to land on the menu! Put your diet away for a bit and GO to this place! OUTSTANDING!
Love, love, love this place! My family and I have been customers of PopFizz since they first opened at their location on Bridge. The prices are what I would expect from a local company and the quality is more than I can ask for. I personally come for the ice cream tacos 🤤. The pecan to be exact! The customer service is always great; Friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place every chance I get to and hope they eventually expand further.
Great place for desserts and snacks! It have variety of flavors of desserts. I love to come at this place. I cant wait to try their food.
Went to try for first time. Popsicles were very good. They just needed more help. We stood in line for 25 minutes to buy them. Understandably there was a big event going on near them and they were extremely busy. Maybe have one person take popsicle orders and the other person take the other food orders.
Hands down the best paleta I’ve ever had! You taste the fruit flavor and not sugar. Worth going out of your way.
Very neat place! Small colorful indoor area and nice covered picnic tables outside. The ladies working there were very friendly and helpful in picking out a sweet treat. A great place to cool off on a hot day.
Delicious and a cute place. They have a carne asada burrito with fries, hot Cheetos, and nacho cheese and it is bomb.
We booked the paleta truck for our wedding to have a truly unique dessert experience and Pop Fizz was amazing! They showed up on time, were so professional and fun, and went around to individual tables to serve our guests! They were so cooperative too - we also wanted churros and they helped with an appropriate recommendation for our number of guests and also served them at the wedding. Would definitely go with them again!
Variety! This tiny place on the campus of the National Hispanic Cultural Center has a lot of choices. They have sandwiches, nachos, paletas, ice cream floats and much more. We enjoyed ice cream and Mexican hot chocolate. The only drawback is that the seating area is limited. It was fun.
My veggie burrito was so yummy and spicy I had to chase it down with a delicious Choco Taco! The combo from spicy to yummy cold soothed by taste buds. This place is the best!
Great place to visit. Its right off the bike trail at the Hispanic Cultural Center. They make their ice cream and Popsicles in-house. Cool small place to hang out and get a frozen snack!!
I want popfizz but noo
Pop Fizz is so rad. I love riding my bike down there and getting a paleta. Last time we tried the chile cheese fries, so gooey and delish. The red chile was bomb. My friend got the churros with soft serve and that was amazing. They also have boozy desserts and choco tacos! Check this place out!
People are nice, Food is amazing! Definitely recommend.
My kids love the paletas & ice cream tacos. It is kind of small inside and they do serve alcohol here so we usually dont stay & eat them there. But there is a park pretty close by that we go to
This place was great! The girl at the register was rude when I went back in to ask for a top. I said, Can I please have top? She goes, A what? I said, a top. She rolls her eyes and says, A lid? In my head Im like yeah same thing. The lady who made the ice cream and churros was really nice. Ill be back, but that girl at the counter better not try me haha!
Great place with a surprisingly wide menu. We had fast and polite service and their paletas are delicious. Also its nice to have the location so close to the river! I would definitely come again!
Best place for ice cream and popsicles in town. You cant go wrong with anything here. Been coming to their shop since their beginning.
One of the best places to get your ice cream/paleta fix. Great unique flavors and custom ice cream tacos. They sell some regular food as well that is tasty! Definitely worth a stop
I LOVE this place and recommend it to everyone young and old.. Its a friendly environment, delicious treats and food. Always a great experience when I go.
Delicious and amazing! Love Pop Fizz.💕Nice patio and you can bike there from the trail. Highly recommend!
The ice cream tacos are so large and amazing. You can get sweet or savory food here. Awesome for family or a date.
Our favorite Paleta shop in Albuquerque! Their Carne fries are also a must try!! We like that they have sugar free options, there for making some of their paletas keto friendly! Add this place as a must stop while you are in Albuquerque or if you are just looking for something yummy! The Paletas aren’t ridiculously sweet but just right!
We should all be promoting smaller business, this is a wonderful place with great customer service. Most of all they give back to the community.
Took the kids for some ice cream. We chose this place over Braums or Dairy Queen because reviews were good and it was unique to the area. Kids asked for double scoop and they were the tiniest scoops that didnt even fill up the cone. $15 for 3 cones with barely any ice cream. Super disappointed. Could have spent less and got more at any other chain. Im only reviewing the ice cream here, cant say anything about the other items they sell.
It was an interesting find after our bike ride. Cool and refreshing drinks. Definitely will go again.
Hired the truck for a Realtor event. The service was outstanding and the Ice Cream and pops were awesome. I will hire them again.
I love coming here, but twice we have shown up during normal hours to find out you were closed. Piece of friendly advice... it is super easy to update your shop hours on Google using their My Business app for things like holiday special hours. Instagram and Facebook posts are helpful too. My kids were so disappointed they were in tears.
The frito pie is killer! Big enough for 2! Also highly recommend the lime popsicle in the beer. YUMMY!
Made our cones quick! Brought to us while we enjoyed the outdoors! Would recommend to periodically clean outside tables, but enjoyed our food and atmosphere!
It was delicious! Super nice and helpful staff too. Got a chocolate dipped paleta (free with yelp check in) and an horchata ice cream taco (around $5). Both were so good. Cute shop with great location right next to cultural center.
This little place is tucked away and easy to miss. Im glad I found it because it is one of my favorite places to get a Frito pie.
Selection of Popsicles is unmatched. I also had an awesome burrito for lunch.
Not only an ice cream parlor but a snack bar with nachos, Frito pie. Ice cream tacos, popsicles, vegan ice cream, fresh in-house made churros, and waffle cones. Local craft beer in cans are a welcome addition.
Cant wait to go back. Wonderful food!
Pop Fizz is right off the Bosque Trail. Its a great place to stop and eat. The food is delicious!
Super fun place with a totally unique atmosphere. I treat myself to the Cookies and Cream milkshake. Under $6! A real treat.
Delicious food, beer, and family friendly. Cozy
Excellent paletas. They have a variety of flavors.
Amazing local shop selling amazing food. The popsicles are amazing and the nachos are to die for. Even if you live in the Northeast Heights, the drive is well worth it.
Fantastic desserts, food and customer service! The best thing? Its all natural. Love Pop Fizz!
Being an ice cream fiend I looked around the interwebs for a local shop. The location is killer; within the UNM campus, surrounded by colorful buildings and monuments around the area. The biggest reason I came was for the ice cream taco. A waffle cone surrounding ice cream and topped with chocolate!I got the horchata flavor and i was DELIGHTED! The price was over 5 bucks but the thing was so big and rich that I was stuffed in the end, after having dinner.Highly recommended!
The place is always excellent when I go! Great variety of handcrafted ice cream and other delicious foods.
Delightful place with great hand made sandwiches and burritos. You can also enjoy an adult beverage or have a famous paleta.
Very good and tasty dessert options, cant wait to try the food.
Love the frito pie!!!! and good service. Overall i would recommend this place if your looking for a new place to eat.
If you have ever had the urge to chase the platero and find put he doesnt have what you wanted. Check this place out. They have flavors you may have never thought of. Great ice cream also.
Website is broken so it took a while to find a pdf menu, but when we realized they also had burritos and sandwiches we tried them out, and damn fine grub! good stuff, been back now 3 times, enjoyed it each
I was super excited to try this place and unfortunately did not have a good experience. When me and my boyfriend walked in we were not greeted and when we ordered it took over 20 minutes to get our ice cream. When I tried to ask the girl if I had ordered the wrong thing because I thought I had gotten something else she seemed super annoyed. The ice cream was great just terrible customer service.
This is a company that provides andamazing tasting high quality and consistent product. From the Avacado to the lime and everything in between there is something delicious for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by and falling in love with a local gem of a shop!!!!
This place is awesome. We were out of town site seeing and decided to stop in. Staff is very courteous and the creams are delicious.
Wow! The paletas are awesome and the selection is the largest that I have ever seen! Try it out; you will not be disappointed!
Great place for awesome desserts and snacks! They make it all there too!
Easily the most fun youll ever have at a restaurant. Desserts everywhere and amazing food, not to mention the sweet and accommodating staff.
This is a cool little Paleteria in ABQ. Its attached to the National Hispanic Cultural Center and has so many cool flavors of Ice cream, drinks, or even fried/baked goods. Its great because its local and has NM roots.
I love this place! The paletas are fantastic; I particularly love any that have the toasted coconut.
A favorite spot of mine. Live to get carne Asada fries and a beer. Also it’s at the Hispanic cultural center and an entrance to bosque trails! Well placed for a walk/bike/roller blade then a rewarding snack! Very excited to try their boozy ice cream related drinks this summer
The Chocolate Ice Cream Taco is insane. Ive had them all, and they are all good, but let me reiterate - the Chocolate Ice Cream Taco is INSANE!
Food is great but the wait was really long.
I like this place great place to get ice cream and I would recommend there carna asada burrito I think they just need to add some sauce for the burrito
The hot dog was really good! Had bacon and avocado! My fiance had the cubano and was pretty good too! Loved the churro and hot chocolate! Need to try the paletta next time!
Paletas in creative and mindblowingly delicious flavors, like cucumber-lime-chile and avocado
Strawberry ice cream bar is delicious!
My grandson loves this place. The mint chocolate taco was delish!
Excellent cold treats, burritos, and more. Great location for those in the valley, or if you want to walk the Bosque trail
I have come to realize that Pop Fizz is amazing for their unique items. Their home made popcicls, amazing ice cream creations. But my only complaint, what stopped me from giving it the full 5 stars, their shakes. Over 15 minutes for an average shake. Not exceptional for the time it took, just average. Second time and same experience. Ill be back but not for their shakes. Ill stick to the popcicls 😉
