I love this store.

The framing that I got done of pencil art was done beautifully. Glenn called me as he promised, helped me choose the best matting and frame, and helped me do it within my budget. Custom framing is expensive, but Michaels did it correctly so that the art will be preserved for generations and is insurable. Glenn was so very helpful and nice which made the experience so much better!

Excellent service and value with quality people

Very nice and clean store. Very friendly service. It is small so some of the things you find in a larger Michaels may not be here but it definitely has the most common crafting essentials.

Wont be going back to this particular store anytime soon. Two young female store associates followed me around while I shopped acting like I was going to steal something. Im an on call nurse who sees people in their homes on the weekends. I was stopping by to shop and decompress in between patients and was treated like a thief. Their inventory is also lacking in my opinion; but I did get a couple things I needed and the prices arent bad. Guy at the register was very nice, but I cant get over being followed. Ill just go to the one in Turkey Creek in the future.

I had the wrong coupon on my phone so it wouldnt scan. The manager had the cashier refund my purchase and then let me find a current coupon code then re-rang my purchase. I will definitely shop here again! What great customer service!!

Unfortunately for me Hobby Lobby better meets my needs. I was looking for outdoor Halloween stuff and they just didnt have any.

My kids love it. The cashier entertained their conversations which can be quite lengthy. My son bought a Who Was... about Dr.. Martin Luther King Jr book. She recommended a new series to him based on their conversation. My youngest daughter told her about her big sisters favorite female athlete Wilma Rudolph. She responded and told her that Jackie Joyner Kersee was her all time favorite to which I replied, My daughter likes her as well.Short Story made long, we shop at both Hobby Lobby and Michaels and Appreciation and admire them both because of the excellence in service we receive.Im sure we will be back again so or at least accord to my bank statement both companies can expect my wife and kids real soon.Thanks again!

Always find exactly what I need

It is so neat and organized! I love how many kinds of markers they offer there.

This store was actually fun to stroll around with my 6 year old. Lots of arts and crafts, games and toys, we found nice picture frames at a great price and fun things for my daughter.

Michaels is my go to craft store right now. Everyone working there masks up as do the majority of customers, unlike Hobby Lobby. My only wish is that they would get a bigger selection of cross stitch/embroidery fabrics. The size of the store makes it easy to pop in and out quickly to get what I need.

Weve liked this place for a while, always clean, has good sales, and I like that they are all wearing masks! Customers and employees alike, all masked and still pleasant.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased. There were so many thing to do and look at that I forgot what I was there for. Plenty of staff taking precautionary measures with fave masks. Will definitely be going back for more hobby project materials. Like a craft flea market in a building.

As always a great store to go to to get creative. The staff was very helpful and when I asked a question rather than the good old pointing in a direction to get what I wanted, they stopped what they were doing, and took me over to the correct area and even made a few suggestions.

Awesome store you can find things you cant anywhere else

Overwhelmed by all of the stock. Anything & everything for any & every craft idea. The only reason for not giving 5 st*rs is that most items are WAAAY overpriced!!! Some to the point of ridiculousness. The costs are very disappointing, un-necessary & totally deflated my excitement & incentive to purchase an item!

Lots of fall and Halloween things out. I went in for needlepoint AMD they had NONE. Only the threads. While look I g around at bead and charms to make a bracelet...the girl followed me around in every aisle. I guess next time...if I go...ill dress up more.

One of the smallest Michaels Ive ever seen, but also one of the nicest. Think of it as express shopping for your craft needs.

Michaels is a pretty good store. They have good selection, though they are kind of expensive. Its not as big as other craft stores, but it still has the needed materials. I would maybe come back here, if I couldnt go anywhere else. The store its self is nice and the customer service is good.

Used to be 5 stars- now, low inventory and I dont buy as much because the 40% off one item is no longer offered.

Michaels is a great craft store. This particular store sells Hot Wheels, I am a collector and found some I had not found elsewhere. Craft selection is always good and shelves are always plentiful for any craft supplies. Staff at this location was very helpful. Was a good experience overall.

Not much yarn to choose from

A very kind man named Glenn helped me with finding just the right product to preserve dried leaves and flowers. He was busy but took the time. Nice store for all things arts and crafty. I like this store much better than...you know.

Grab bags are a waste of money. Everything I got in 2 bags were all for schools. My stuff ended up in the trash cause I rarely go out and no school kids in my life. Was hoping for something useful or fun....stuff shouldve been donated not sold. Huge dissappointment. Dont see me going back for more of anything from there. Walmart process same stuff and lots cheaper too. ☹️

Not a whole lot of choice

I love their seasonal decor and crafts for kids. The clearance section has some good deals also. Being open on Sundays is another plus for weekend activities with the kids.

Having formerly received 2 employee of month, and multiple customer service awards and acknowledgements as a Michaels employee in another state, I am well acquainted with, and a big fan of the company policies and expectations when it comes to service. As such, I was very disappointed by the treatment received by, Erin, the current store manager at the Alcoa location.A family member of mine purchased a birthday gift online for store pickup. An hour later he dialed the location to see if the order had been filled, or would soon be, before he made the 30m trip there.The cashier who answered took down the order confirmation number and kindly asked him to hold. The call was then picked up by the store manager, Erin, who without acknowledging the order number had already been given, instructed that there were 70 other online orders for the day they were trying to fill. Our response to Erin was to request whether or not our order, placed an hour prior, for a single item marked in-stock when ordered/purchased for that location, was or could/would be filled before making the trip into town within the next hour to get it (for a birthday on the same day).Erin responded there were so many orders ahead, she was not certain ours had been filled because so many people had ordered online. She asked how long ago it had been ordered, we reiterated that it had been ordered an hour prior.In an effort to again get our question answered, we asked what information she needed to check our order. Erin said she just needed the name. We gave the order name, she took a moment to look it up, and again said she was unsure if our order could be confirmed because of her influx of orders, where our purchased item may rank in her cue, since how she had looked it up was not allowing her to know.So here we are, customers requesting a reasonable definitive answer either way, and are again, unanswered.Having been an employee, I know each store is equiped with multiple portable inventory devices that all managers and most employees wear which are accurate in instantly verifying what product and count is physically on the premises when an employee is not at a scanner or register.Instead of providing a solution, or bothering to easily check if that one item could be location confirmed or filled, or could not be, so we could devise an alternate gift option, Erin again expressed her overwhelm of orders coming into the store.As a compassionate and empathetic person having been in similar situations, I know it is store policy to not lecture customers on issues that are not the customers problem, especially if the customer has honored process and isnt asking for anything out of the ordinary. Michaels employees are empowered to provide solutions.After listening to her explanations that did not answer our simple question, we again requested if Erin could please check the single item and verify before the trip to the store was made. She asked how long ago we placed the purchase, and we again said it had been an hour prior. Without checking the item to confirm, Erin stated if it hadnt been 2 hours since the purchase was made, it may not have processed. Again, not our question.If myself, or my prior store managers had received the same call, we wouldve typed in the stock number on the device, then radioed a floor employee or pulled it ourselves, and/or confirmed to the customer if it was out of stock at our location and could be transferred from another, or not. It wouldve taken the same amount of time to do so, even when several lines were ringing and registers were 30 customers in. Ive done it. Since our 3 attempts to answer the same simple question were diverted, I asked for Erins name and title. She gave it, then rudely and intentionally hung up.Shout out to the kind/helpful employees at this location and others out there who create solutions/treat customers with the respect they hope to receive, even on tough days, I salute you.

I had a great shopping experience at Michaels. I am making a couple of props for my kids for Halloween. I had a list of items and had no idea where some of what i needed would be. I found an associate in an isle and asked her if she could please help me. She was so sweet and patient. She took me right to the items i was looking for and made suggestions about materials that may work or not for what i was doing. I wish i had remembered her name. I will look for her next time so i can tell her boss what a great job she did. The only down side was when i got to the register. One of the items i picked up was twice as much as it said on the shelf. Luckliy i had a 50% off coupon for one item to use for that. Next time i will take a pic of the shelf with the price so i can show it to the cashier.

Black Friday deals were not that great and she rang us up for two sparkly red felts when we had bought one sparkly red and one regular red... So we ended up paying .80 more... That made me quite unhappy but customer service was overall excellent and we found all of the items we needed for my sisters project.

Ive never had a problem finding whatever random craft thing I need, and theres plenty of other goodies if you actually look around. This bracelet was made with cording I got from here. Daughter loves it. Good quality stuff and wasnt extremely pricey.

Always well-stocked with a good variety of craft items

I stopped in today after a family member called to tell me that many of the kids craft items were 90% off. I asked an employee about it, but they didnt know anything about this. However, if you go to the back left of the store where the clearance is, you can take items just a few aisles back to a scanner and floral to check the prices. I got an entire shopping cart full of gifts that were all 90% off.

Michaels has a good supply of all types of crafting including paper crafting, jewelry making, cake/baking supplies, sewing, knitting/crochet, wedding supplies, floral arranging supplies, art supplies, calligraphy, etc. They also have seasonal items all year long. Great coupons and reward system.

This store is a treasure trove of crafting. The prices are great, the store is clean and the employees are knowledgeable. My only complaint would be that I go in for 1 item and leave with 10.
