Really is a nice shop and atmosphere to be. They have healers physics, and other metaphysical practitioners come and are available to the public. They have a vast library and their crystals are reasonable price, that have nice greeting cards, candles, incense, jewelry, and herbs. It’s basically a one stop shop for almost ALL of your metaphysical needs. Definitely will visit again and is worth the visit if in the area.

This was my second visit to this store. I come all the way from Baltimore Maryland and it is worth the trip. Only one person was friendly my first time visiting here. The next 2 times she wasnt there and the staff was rude. One lady even suggested I look at the tumble stones when I was gazing at a nice looking crystal and said the tumble stones would probably fit my budget even though we hadnt talked and she had no idea what my budget was. Ive spent hundreds on crystals and have never been talked to in that rude manner before. The prices are too high. The small tumble stones cost more than bigger ones Ive found in better stores with higher quality. The herbs are pricey too. I would suggest to find somewhere with better prices and better service.

The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the shop itself is pretty great. However, I went on Saturday for a tarot/psychic reading and it is probably the worst I have ever had! I spent $100 for the woman to tell me that I need to be patient, relax and that good things are coming my way. Im not even kidding when I say that she repeated that over and over and over again. All of her answers were very generic and she even got some things wrong about my life. Definitely would recommend going elsewhere for any readings, especially for the price!!

I went into the store 1/25/19 seeing that three people worked in the store. I was not greeted, nor helped my entire 20 minutes I was in the store looking around, everyone looked my way be did not even ask if I needed help. I drove 45 minutes just to come to this store to get some gem stones that were locked away hoping to find some healing from my sister passing away on this date One year ago. And after speaking to the owner of the store and telling him my experience in a respectful way all they could say is that they were sorry.

Me and my son love this store. The staff is always helpful and courteous. We spend nearly an hour each visit and they are so patient and kind. I have also brought friends to the store and they have all enjoyed the diversity and charm. Its also the best stocked store within a reasonable distance that I know of in the D.C. VA area.

Its easy to get carried away and lose yourself in this store in the best way possible. The aromas alone are enough to relax you, not to mention the cozy fireplace set in the middle of the shop. There is an assortment of books, guides, and reference material ranging from chakras to shamanism and then some. They offer classes monthly as well as specialized guides and mediums to help you with whatever you need (typically by appointment). Everything was reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning soon!

I went here today for the first time . The store was quite small and interesting. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped me find what I needed pretty fast. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and anyone else and i will certainly be coming back again.

For the record my rating is based on a comparison to the shop I regularly went to in Memphis before I moved here. That being said the shop lacks the variety Im used to especially in incense and oils. The incense they did have are a bit higher than Im used to spending but it seems the oils they have may be lower or about the same. The store is neat and tidy. Good for those who like free flowing energies and open spaces. But what I loved most about the shop I used to go to was its clustered space of options. It was a smaller store with much more to choose from and always had exactly what u wanted. I had to compromise and get cone incense when I wanted and prefer stick ones because they didnt have what I wanted in sticks.As for the other complaints I see here? The man working the counter did answer my questions and help me best he could. Those who think customer service demand a personal greeting and offer of help I consider to be egotistical to think that they should be the center of attention from the moment they walk in. As far as those fussing about the time they wasted waiting on help to be offered need to realize many people like me go into stores like this and love to just look around and feel the energies coming from stones and candles and everything. The staff dont read minds. If u need help finding something ask for it. Its that simple. And one comment here is against the tarot reading...... Yeah the best advise is to stay away from any that charge more than $20. Frankly the most honest ones ull get are those that dont specifically charge but ask for a donation in the amount of ur choosing instead.

I visited the store for a reading with Alice Jones. I was so disappointed with the reading. I’ve had readings with multiple psychic mediums in the past and can tell when the reader is authentically channeling information. Alice is not an authentic medium or reiki healer. I could tell she was making up all sorts of stuff. I kept asking her to to tell me what information she was picking up from the other side. She would either say “I don’t know” or press ME for more information and then give me some superficial advice based on nothing. She also took the time to promote and gloat about her book during the reading! And then there was the “Reiki” session in the last half hour - more hogwash. I sent an email to the owner over a month ago letting him know about my experience. He never bothered to reply and continues to promote her work and group sessions. Just putting this out there so others don’t waste their money.

I brought a lot of items from here and is very pleased with the outcome of my purchase. Everyone is very professional and the atmosphere when you walk in is so calm and relaxing. I will forever be a consistent customer. Namaste

Large bookstore section! Very warm, welcoming shop with beautiful interior, and convenient location on King St.

Was just there yesterday. Just moved into the area and due to the spouses job weve moved a lot! Ive been fortunate to see many a store like this and was hoping for something new and interesting. I wasnt impressed at all. Nothing there that I havent seen before and could use some much needed updating on their inventory. Sadly I walked out empty handed which for me is a rarity.

Wonderful shop with all kind of items such as incense, books, jewerly and healing stones. They have a psychic fair every 8 weeks and it a great event.

This store has a pleasant atmosphere, a few large shelves of books, and some nice jewelry and other items. Even not being a follower of one of the religions they cater to, I stop in occasionally and buy books on myths or fairies, Ive picked up the occasional necklace or other piece of jewelry for myself or others, and chatted pleasantly with the staff.

This was my second and last visit to this establishment. The staff was not engaging. The individual that rang up my $84 purchase didnt even look at me or ask if I found everything ok. On my way back to my office, I noticed some wetness on my jeans. I look in my bag to notice the Florida water I purchased was open. Ok, so I call the store to advise them of that, and that I would like to get a new bottle just to be told they couldnt verify if I did something to the bottle, or if the inept staff did something. Whoa, I just spent almost $100 in your store; shouldnt your staff ensure all tops are closed on items prior to putting them in a bag, which the clerk asked if I wanted one? Ugh, I would say take yourself to Lanham to Crystal Fox.

My favorite store in Oldtown, hands down, a true gem. I’d also like to say to the skeptics I see.... yes, be patient!! I’ve had readings to find they saw things happening anywhere from the next day to years to come. When you get a reading, you need to do so with an open heart and mind. They don’t tell you to take a left or right down the hallway. It’s guidance and this time on earth is much different than time of other things. It may not be at the pace you want, so just release, and listen to your inner voice(THE POSITIVE ONE) and you’ll find that your not in need of exact directions but more of a positioning of perspective. So far, even what I thought was the most intangible reading has infact BEEN TRUE👀!!No psychic will tell you bad things but how to rearrange your perspective and TO BE PATIENT bc all that is, is and all that will be, does. What we manifest from that is our decision, and hopefully manifested into good things eventually if not manifested initially that way. The staff didnt seem friendly (my friend and I were never acknowledged upon entering the shop). I purchased a few thing only because the shop a few blocks away was closed for renovations. I will not return to the shop.

I honestly, was not tooimpressed. I just went in for some stones to wirewrap, and the store did not open at 11 as stated, they opened the doors about 10 minutes after that. I thought it would be no problem, but it took forever for someone to help me. I couldnt tell who was there as a customer and who worked there. After me trying to figure that out aimlessly for quite a few minutes, I was finally offered help. I still bought some stones because i was there and I love to support businesses. But i paid almost $40 for 5 little stones. It is quite pricey, Ive bought bigger Crystals and stones for less and better quality. But I also decided to get out of there after I kinda overheard a reading in the back, firstly. It seemed like she was guessing on this persons life. I dont do that anyway, and shouldve read more reviews. That that happens there, but guessing though? I recommend looking for a better store, or even etsy. I hate leaving bad reviews. But this is an honest experience. And I will not be returning.

I had a reading with Alice on Wednesday (09/05/2018). I was very disappointed. She seemed to be making things up. I also asked her if my husband was my twin flame, she said the guides were telling her yes and no. Its a clear question as the twin flame is the other half to your soul. She also kept calling me Laura. She lied and said she kept calling me that, because she met me in a past life and that was my name. She called me Laura, because her brain was thinking of Laura Bush which is similar to my name. I also asked very specific questions and she gave very generalized information based on what I had told her. I paid $75 (30 minutes) for nothing. As I had been a frequent customer, I requested my money back via email. She responded she was “sorry I didn’t hear what I wanted to”. She did not answer about the refund. This shady behavior and her obvious lies made me really reflect on and start looking into these angels and guides. These people doing these readings are deceptive and evil. Some of them don’t even realize it. They say they’re channeling angels and your higher self. They speak specifically of Metatron who is allegedly mentioned in the book of Enoch and is Enoch post becoming an angel. The Book of Enoch is a forbidden book and was left out of the Bible for a reason. This book is full of information and disinformation about fallen angels, demons, nephilm, etc. These healers and psychics say they’re connecting with archangels and your angels, etc. they call them guides. They are really “Watchers”. The Watchers are fallen angels. Very deceptive and misleading. These people are connecting with fallen angels, demonic entities and spirits, etc. it is literally exactly as we were warned of in regards to end times. Additionally, the New Age Religion and Spiritual movement is well dressed, redesigned Satanism. It has been redesigned and put into a more attractive package. The satanic bible speaks on all these “new age” methods- meditation, yoga, crystals, chakras, etc. The Third Eye (Pineal Gland) is the forbidden fruit, as are the chakras. This is what was referenced in Genesis - “you’ll be like God”. They are now teaching that YOU are God which is exactly what the downfall of Lucifer/Satan was. You cannot be like God. Yes, God is in you and you’re made in his image, but you are NOT God. These people preach that opening the third eye and aligning your chakras help you create your own reality and it does, however, it’s going against God’s design. Opening the third eye (decalcifying the Pineal Gland) is glorified as that’s the highest one can get spiritually, however if you research “how to close third eye”, you will see that most people who have opened it regret it dearly. You see the very things God has prevented you from seeing - these terrifying and beastly entities. Most of these places tell you the terrifying entities you see is your shadow self. This is false. You have opened the door and opened yourself up to interacting with negative and EVIL entities. It’s is exactly as Revelations described - end times are near. You all reading this need to get all these occult items out of your house and far away from you. With these items, these entities are given permission and have legal ground. Crystals, Chakra Books, All Seeing eyes, Hamsas, incense, tarot cards, astrology - all of it. In the name of Jesus, I revoke any permissions given to these people. You all need to do the same.

I was about to leave a good review. But after reading the owners responses I am taking my money elsewhere. I normally come here alot and always tell others to shop here. As an owner you should be able to accept negative and positive reviews. It is difficult trying to feel the energy of a crystal that speaks to you when a person is picking it out and showing you thru a window. So I agree with the other person. For you to tell them to take their business elsewhere is very unprofessional.
