Im not a hobbyist, but decided to check out the store anyway. I have some vases that can benefit from some pretty artificial flowers and the selection here is impressive. My favorite framing store closed and this would be a convenient place to bring pictures that need framing in the future. A nice place to find things you didnt know you needed. Going through the checkout line(s), however, is unnecessarily challenging. Someone needs to figure it out and let people know where to stand.

This place is amazing! It is the best crafting store I have ever seen. I was here two hours and I did not finish looking at everything they have. They also have seasonal discounts. The employees are very helpful and polite. The store is super clean and organized, and if you can think it, they have it!

Want to get Accused of stealing this is the place. Legit I went on a date and they accused me of stealing or walking out the store with unpaid merchandise the manager. Was very verbal and happy to admit not only do her staff not know company policies on return, the site doesnt exist for discounts or coupons. Oh and if you are a white customer you will be def treated with respect not the black people if your return ticket is over 200 why would a person returning crafting items be stealing ... anyway worse experience micheals here I come also lgbt not friendly

I was browsing through the dollhouse section and this Black lady with red hair was so rude! Every item I look at she muffles under her breath saying I just fixed this. I dropped the items I was going to buy and left just going to get it an Amazon

I always find what I’m looking for and more at Hobby Lobby. I went for wicker baskets and found 3 at 50%. With my favorite holiday approaching, Christmas decor is already on display. I was tempted but next time. Cashier was nice and quick.

This place has everything! If you need home decorations, items for craft projects, dried/silk flowers, fasteners, fabric paint, etc. this is you one stop shopping place. Seasonal and holiday decorations, a great assortment. Very spacious and well organized, very friendly and knowledgeable staff too. 😉👍

The store is great, but there is one member of the staff that seems to have a major attitude problem. Twice now, this man LELAND, has rudely spoken to my girlfriend and myself after ringing out. Specifically, an item my girlfriend bought was on sale. When she questioned why it didn’t ring up on sale, LELAND decided to rudely tell her it was “not his fault” the item was not on sale, and proceeded to look extremely annoyed off in the distance after she checked the weekly flyer to confirm the Folk Art paint was indeed on sale. My point is, and I’m not typically this way, that this man either needs to fix himself or Hobby Lobby needs to separate themselves from this guy entirely. Extremely poor attitude. Oh, and last time we were in, I asked this man a question, and instead of answering me, he rudely told me me that the debit machine was “waiting on me”. This trip also included this man, LELAND, blatantly and rudely staring and seemingly stalking my girlfriend and myself around the store.

The store was not crowded at all. This was my first time in a Hobby Lobby, and I Love it! They have the most beautiful flowers and a huge selection of them, and the store is well maintained, and clean. They have a nice selection of clearance items, the cashiers were friendly, and the floor worker was very helpful when I asked him for location of the glue sticks. If you have not been in a Hobby Lobby, you are missing a street! Plus, they were playing the most beautiful Christian Instrumental music! I only shopped in 1/4 of the store because my feet were hurting. They carry household items and fabric as well. You wont be disappointed!

I am in love with this place! The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is always happy to help. They have a huge selection to choose from. I never have a hard time finding what I need. Everything is organized and clean in the store. There are always sales going on. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for supplies for a new project or if you want to spice things up in your home.

This store is new in this area, so I came to check it out this store and I can tell you i never seen 👀 a store like this its so big, they have everything for decorating so clean organized and the people who work there are very nice too👌 lol😆

This is a great, well stocked Hobby Lobby. Great deals per usual. Big parking lot. Friendly staff. Need a few more roaming associates to help customers find hard to find items. A store map would be helpful as well. Getting out the parking lot is about impossible because of location.

Very good, the wife loves that store as it has all the stuff she wants/needs for her hobbies. It is fully stocked and has excellent customer service.

Hobby Lobby is great, but no discounts? Please put a location in Forestville, Largo, or Oxon Hill, or Clinton. We craft too but Laurel is a bit of a drive to be so expensive. Plus, Laurel said Hobby Lobby doesnt print coupons. No rewards. I mean....🤔

First time coming in to this place. Its a big store. I was amazed by the variety of choices of crafts, holiday stuff, ceramic pieces, kids stuff, etc. I got stickers and I loved them. The sticker section has a lot of options (2 sections).

After I found out that Dollar Tree did not have any balloons nor banners for Welcome Home or Welcome Back, I went here. It was calm and peaceful, as it should be, especially for an art store. I was somewhat able to find a banner, but it said Welcome Baby and was priced $2.99. I had to take it though because I was pressed for time, but I noticed that some products (i.e. on the shelves) are not fully stocked. Also, it helps if the employees acknowledge you for help, rather than have you find things yourself, which saves time (i.e. have roaming staff periodically).As far as the checkout process, it is remarkably slow, but the cashier was friendly. It will take a while for me to become accustomed, but I might come here on occasion. Overall, it was ok.3.0 out of 5

Cant go in there to much! Its addictive!

It was very crowded, I felt. There is obviously no cap on the number of patrons in the store at a time. Most of the people would stay 6 feet away but some were not.The selection I went to the store for was disappointing and I was not able to get what I went in for. I was looking for distress ink by Ranger.I was able to use a 40% off coupon and most everything we bought was on half price sale.I will not return here again due to what I was searching for but they have a lot of home decor available and other options. Definitely search the circulars and use the coupons. It felt expensive to me.The lady who checked us out was very nice.

Stock levels leave a lot to be desired. They are getting better. Checkout abysmally slow.

Mrs. Pam in the frame shop was a delight. She was very meticulous and kind and easy to talk to.

We ordered a specific Graeme for my brother in law who passed away. The frame was supposed to be cherry wood….. it was black…. It took them so long to get it done I was given the run around sand didn’t have the photo for his memorial service…. Poor customer service…. and not enough staff on site.

(Storytime) Im from Maryland and I shop in Waldorf. My go-to craft store was A.C Moore which is now closed (😥) so that leaves us with Michaels (😡) and Joanns (😏) which is fine. Well, I was looking for a specific item which none of these stores carried but as I approached this particular store and opened the door...omg! I came upon two escalators and a elevator. Very impressive. I took a nice long ride on the escalator to the craft world and as I reached the top this store just opened up. It was massive. Instant smile came over my face. I recognized the christian song that was playing and immediately joined in with my humming. The staff was so so nice and friendly thank you (Ms. Joyce and Ms. Pam). The new cash register lady was so friendly and the lady that was at the register behind her was there to help her when she had questions. So now I have a new craft store in Va. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Overall good experiences but items on sale can be out of stock quickly . Furniture section is one of the items they seem to run out of quickly. Paint supplies are plenty and their clearance section has a large diversity of items displayed regularly

It was very organized and I loved it but I only got through 1/8 of the store I had to go get something to eat

Its a great place to buy, you can find good deals if you know where to look at. The only bad thing was that an art projector I was looking for was still on display but it was discontinued :(

Not good. Husband was promised to pick up his framed canvas that was ordered two Saturdays ago and was told it would be ready. We went in on Saturday and was told the person would be in at two and she will do it then. And they would call us. NO PHONE CALL. there goes my Mothers Days present. No more from this store.

First time shopping at Hobby Lobby. I have always heard good things about it but never found one nearby. What a delightful place!I was actually shocked at the amount of craft and home decor items they had on the shelves. Some quite unusual and many items I had never seen anywhere else. Prices were great, with many items on sale. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure shopping there. Go visit my new FAVORITE STORE! Who knows what sort of treasures you might find!

Hey!! Some of my favorite stores all in one place. Real stores and still havnt visited all the shops I want to go in yet.

The store is great, however, I really want to recognize Teo in the framing department. This employee was amazing. He helped me after the framing department had closed and did not rush me at all through any of my decisions. He took his time with me and was even able to provide the whole framed piece that same evening. He cut all the materials and framed everything in about 30 minutes. I have never had that type of service at a framing department anywhere. He was amazing and he should be recognized for his amazing customer service. Oh and did I mention it was two days before Christmas? Even more Kudos! Thanks Teo!

Great hobby store. I can walk around this place for hours. We were looking for letters for a letter board and luckily we found them at Hobby Lobby! :) The personnel was very helpful in helping find them and were very friendly. Thanks Hobby Lobby!!!

Though Hobby Lobby is well stocked with items I need for my business, the check out process is very questionable. Not sure to call it ancient or shady. No barcodes to scan, no detail of items on receipt...everything has to be put in manually with general Dept numbers. Holds customers up in long, long lines and makes it confusing on what you’re being charged for. Very busy today and only 3 cashiers including manager. Manager was on register but cold as ice. Charged me full price on items till I had to speak up. Got home suspicious of my High amount $ I paid (too high for what I purchased) looked at receipt - was overcharged still for items on sale AND there are 6 items from art Dept which I never even had in my basket! Now I got to go back to straighten out $ get my money back? This experience today has changed me to where I do not enjoy or want to shop at Hobby Lobby anymore.

Love the selection of items to decorate in this store, I think its one of my new fav places.

Joans place I prefer but hobby lobby does have more of a selection for cut out clothing patterns(they come in a package with instructions). Joans has more fabric, buttons, yarn selections, and string. But Hobby lobby has more home decor, candles and decorations.

I LOVE HOBBY LOBBY!! BUT...... AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT. Fairlakes employees ARE RUDE . Plain and simple. Theyre rude and I wont go back. I love the hobby lobby on the other end of northern va in Alexandria that store is a little smaller but the employees seem cheerful which makes it a much happier place to shop at.

Hobby Lobby had the perfect wedding gift in their his/hers section, and always has a coupon I can use to save $$$!

Who doesnt like Hobby Lobby! They have everything you are looking for and things that you arent. You can find those hard to find items that you just cant get at those other craft stores .

Wife loves this store. I am glad there is one in Alexandria now so that we do not have to go to woodbridge.

Great store. Watch for sales. There is a rotation of certain items being on sale every other week. Always able to find something nice to decorate your house with. Great seasonal items as well. Very clean store. Friendly and helpful workers. Its either you hate them or love them for their political stances but if you can get past that, its a great store.

This place has an amazing selection of products. H-Amazing! However, I do I think the prices are marked up to a point that exceeds the actual value of a thing. I buy items here and there but I dont rack up like I would love to. But Ill keep Hobby Lobby at the top of my retail therapy list!

This store has a great selection and employees are for the most part nice, however the manager has a horrible attitude problem. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but after repeated visits that wasnt the case. She flat out will run you over while doing things on the floor and has an incredibley rude attitude on top of it.

I love this store! First of all, it was so neat and clean. I was so impressed. I really want to work here. I love arts and crafts. I would have so much fun and enjoy being an employee here. We shall see. Also the greeter who greets you when you arrive up the steps named Lindsay, he was great! Very welcoming and friendly.

Took a long time to get help and then it ended up they did not have the frame i needed.

Found everything I was looking for. Was unfamiliar with the layout. Areas were labeled, but low down and in small lettering. I had to walk around a bit to find the right places to look.

My husbands 1st time in this store and he loves it!!!

This place is so amazing. The things in there were so magical and brought out some feelings of sheer joy. We also saw Christmas trees there that we thought about replacing our old one so when our grandkids come to visit, they would not want to leave. Love Hobby Lobby.

I will probably not visit this location again. The Manager Sue is a real winner. I will be sending a complaint to the corporate soon.

Convenient location and a great selection of items! I would buy all the home decor if I could afford it and had a big enough house. The whole shopping center looks like it received a facelift. The Giant next door to it is the nicest Giant Ive ever visited. Parking can be an issue depending on the time of day you visit.

Hobby Lobby is a crafters paradise. This is the place for yarn, second only to an independent, local yarn shop. Very good yarn, and natural yarn selections too, for decent prices. They have a nice fabric department as well as paper and home goods.

Outstanding customer service ! As an artist. I stroll the experience looking for the diamond in the rough for an art piece In planning stage. I always find what I need at Hobby Lobby.

I was so surprised to see this new Hobby Lobby. I found some really cute fabrics,a very nice stone and leather to make jewelry. I am so happy to see this great place, really miss the African Art pieces. I especially like the African masks. I hope they will carry them and other African art pieces.

Lots to check out. Come with lots of time and return often to check the always changing seasonal merchandise. Closed on Sundays.

Great selection but limited number of staff on hand. Good luck getting someone to cut your fabric. But if you know what you want and can serve yourself, this is the place for you.

Typical Hobby Lobby. They pretty much have the same setup and layout as every other Hobby Lobby out there, with the exception that this one is above the Giant. The staff was polite.

The store has tons of fun stuff. However the line to check out is far too long time wise.
