Love the Scandinavian Gift Shop! Great place to find items from the scandinavian countries. Favorite store to purchase extra special gifts. Yes, some products are a little expensive, but it is imported and expected. My daughter loved the runic pendant we bought her for her confirmation gift!

One of our favorite stores! Love this family owned and operated downtown Alex shop, we always find great gift items as well as quality Scandanavian household items. No trip to downtown Alexandria is complete without a stop at the Scandanavian Gift Shop!

I LOVE this store!! Its a small piece of Norway right here in Minnesota! Run by a wonderful family, I make sure every year to purchase, at the very least, an authentic dated Norwegian pewter Christmas ornament for my tree! (Or one of the other many beautiful ornaments, pieces of jewelry or clothes.) If you are ever in Alexandria, make sure to stop by!! (And it case your wondering, no I do not know the owners! Lol)

We drove 2 hours to get some special Christmas light bulbs which are difficult to find. We bought extras and then spent an additional $125.00. This place is filled with beautiful, high quality item. We will return to shop here and the adjoining clothing store. The lady who assisted us could not have been more friendly or helpful.

I like to come in once in a while to pick up some of the Norwegian candy they sell here. So tasty! They also have a variety of clothing and home decor items, as well as a few tools for the kitchen—picked up a set of rosette irons a couple years ago! Nice store.
