This is a hidden spot where I passed by so many times on my way to work and always wanted to swing. I made it a point to check it out since this place is so cute and decorated full of corgis dogs. The drink menu is unique and offered a variety of coffee mixes and also refreshing drinks during the summer. I ordered the Machiato and the summer breeze. Both were total winners in their own right! Swing by and check them out! It will be worth it.
Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first. So here I am at Café D.er – The FIRST dessert shop making Souffle in the LA region. With their tasty drinks and super soft souffle, you could also immerse yourself in an environment full of corgis: corgi mugs, corgi plates, corgi decorations, corgi merchandise and most importantly, real corgis! Café D. er is located n Alhambra off the 10 fwy situated in a small business plaza. I arrived on a late Friday afternoon to taste their soufflé pancakes and drinks. This was my first visit and was expecting similar to Motto café. I was ebulliently greeted by a young female staff. It’s hard not to notice the cute corgi dog decor upon entering the shop. Interior design and layout was cute with plenty of natural light albeit lack space. However, they have out door patio with limited tables.I perused their pancakes and drinks and they’re all very interesting and delicious looking items. I ordered the creme brûlée soufflé pancake and lychee mojito. The creme brûlée pancakes was very jiggly, soft, puffy, sweet and tasty. It’s definitely much softer than other soufflé pancakes that I have tasted in SGV. The lychee mojito was bubbly. Service was mildly fast for the drink (5 mins) and pancakes (20 mins avg time). Staff werecordial, amiable, assiduous and followed health protocol. Price for the soufflé pancakes were very competitive and slightly below other establishments. Parking lot is small. Free Wifi. Corgi merch can be purchased from within. In this captivating review, it’s time to make a conclusion. Overall, I enjoyed the service and their delicious jiggly soufflé pancakes more than the drink. Therefore, I highly recommend this dessert shop.
Loved visiting this Cafe. Especially on their Corgi event date. Cute spot with great drinks and phenomenal pancakes, with lots of fabulous merchandise.
I love corgis so of course I had to come check out this corgi-themed cafe! They have a corgi menu, which lists their drink and food items that come with corgi decorations. I ended up ordering the combo NAYOS FAVORITE, which includes one drink, one pancake, and one corgi mystery box.I got the following:-- Smoothies Summer Kiss: This was a refreshing strawberry and mango smoothie. It comes with a corgi marshmallow decoration that is separately packaged (since were still in a pandemic). It seemed like it was strawberry milk on top of a mango smoothie and I had to mix them together. It was really good!-- Chocolate Lava Souffle Pancake: This was like chocolate pudding on top of two fluffy souffle pancakes. Also good but a little heavy and rich. This came with two printed corgi decorations and some freshly cut strawberries.-- Corgi Mystery Box: I got a cute little corgi sticking one leg out! Basically just a small decoration for your desk. There wasnt any outdoor seating when we arrived but when we asked them about it they set up a table with chairs outside for us to use so that was really nice. No indoor dining at the moment. Theyre located in a plaza off of Garfield so parking was not an issue for us.
We dont understand why theyre obstructing public access.
Cant wait to dine-in at this cute cafe! Corgi-themed decor awaits. Nonetheless the souffle pancakes were delicious and definitely reminded me of Japan. Had the tiramisu and creme brulee and looking forward to trying the rest! It did take 40 minutes to get the food but honestly, it was worth the wait.
A corgi-themed dessert and Boba shop. Delicious souffle pancakes. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Came here during a corgi event and it was so cute! They have corgi-themed stickers/backpacks/etc. Im not really ever happy with the drinks. Theyre super cute and Instagram worthy but the taste is never quite right. Some of the milk teas just taste like milk and other types have a super strong jasmine base I cant get through. The real treat here is the soufflé pancakes. Creme Brulee is the best flavor hands down. It takes some time to cook, but thats expected for the soufflé pancakes. Theyre super light and fluffy, but also really rich in flavor. If anyone isnt familiar with this kind of pancake, its a little softer than scrambled eggs but still has a sweet flavor.
It was a very cute place to take your dogs to for a photoshoot. We ordered the tiramisu souflle pancakes and it was so soft, literally cut like butter with a fork. One thing to be aware of is that dogs are unfortunately not allowed inside. Other than that, it was a nice cafe to go to for brunch and coffee.
Might be a little biased because I have a corgi of my own, but regardless, the theme here is totally fun and the owners sometimes host events where you get to meet a whole lot of corgis! The boba is good and I highly recommend the crème brûlée soufflé pancakes.
Was in the mood for soufflé pancake and saw this through yelp. Came on a Sunday late afternoon and all the seats were full. They were out of the mystery box combo when I went. I got the jasmine green milk tea with boba. The boba was semi hard, tea was average. Also got the original soufflé, which I ordered soft and it came out kind of firm, similar to uncle tetsu’s cheesecake. Disappointed 😟. But the customer service was really nice and helpful. Might give it another shot and come back to try the chocolate soufflé.
Awesome freaking awesome brought my daughter to enjoy corgi Awesomeness and that is what she got. Creme Brule was perfect
They like to occupy public passages and obstruct public traffic.
Honestly the best customer service that Ive had in a longtime and pancakes came out quickly! The pancakes were cooked perfectly. Other places I have tried had a tendency to leave the center raw and almost liquidy while these were fluffy all the way through 👌 i highly recommend the creme brulee pancakes.
Such a cute cafe I loved it
The souffle cake is better than the drinks
Delicious drinks and pancakes
Got the souffles and was told 20 mins, it took 30 mins and when I we were about to eat them we saw that they were raw. Just batter of not fully cooked meringue. We stuck our finger into it and it was just uncooked batter. Could not eat and was afraid to get sick of salmonella. Do not recommend. We were the only customers as well so its not like they were busy make other orders.
Good and cozy place to hang out! Orders takes time but always remember good food really takes time to get done. Delicious food and drinks here! 5 stars for that!
Lovely place for coffee and drinks. The main attraction is the souffle pancakes. Subtlety sweet and super fluffy. Of course the theme here is corgis and any fan and lover of corgis should pay a visit to this place. They also sell accessories and gifts related to corgi.
We went to check out this super cute cafe while on our trip to LA with out corgis and loved it! We both ordered coffee drinks and sat at an outside table in the shade with our pups. Someone brought out water bowls with ice and we got plenty of cute photos of the decor and drinks! We also left with two super cute and yummy iced drinks and some marshmallow corgi heads and butts! It’s a must go place if you’re a corgi lover in LA! Would love to try the soufflé pancakes if we are ever back in the area later in the day as they are not served until after 1 pm. Thanks for the great service and yummy drinks!
WRONG BUSINESS HOURS!!!!!Arrived before 9:30 which is the closing time shown BOTH on google maps and their official websites, and was told that their kitchen closed at 8:30????? Such a disappointment.
It was amazing! I personally am a Corgi lover. I thought nobody would love Corgis more than me until I found this Corgi Cafe. The food was amazing and so were the drinks.
Great pour over. Souffle pancakes were so soft and tasty. :)
This place says they are open but they are not. Came all the way from San Diego and they are closed. Sucks!!!! Such a disappointment. They need to update their opening hours.
Friendly staff, gives recommendations when asked. Helpful and informative, the pour over are nice. Plus the Corgi themes 👍
Absolutely adorable Corgi cups and marshmallow toppers, but next time Ill know to ask for less sweet.
Love the Cream Brulee Pancakes!! Friendly staff great service.
This year I went to Korea and I had a delicious souffle pancake so when I got back I was craving a good pancake so I looked on Yelp and I found this place. I decided to order ahead of time on the phone and they told me that it would take 15 mins so I said great because we were exactly 15 mins away and I said I wanted to eat in. When we got there there were no seats so we paid and we just waited awkwardly. the cashier asked us if we wanted to eat it there.... And we said yes and she said there were no tables available right now... And then just handed us our order... I felt like that was very poorly handled and they didnt even try to accommodate or tell us that it would just be a short while... They just handed us our pancake and basically looked at us waiting for us to leave. So I was like whatever well just leave so we took it home. As for the pancake I got the original souffle pancake and it was not as fluffy as I liked it also it was way too eggy. I think they whole experience was off starting from when we entered the cafe. I will definitely not be trying this place again.
Delicious souffles, and great teas as well. Get the white grape grapefruit oolong tea, or the passion fruit tea.
They only serve the pancakes in the afternoon, I was there yesterday morning and was disappointed. Music is too loud, and are depressing Chinese breakup songs. Interior design is cute but lacks shading from direct sunlight.
Nice eggy pastry. Great Drip ☕
Just dont use the restroom when you dine-in. They will throw your food into trash right away even you only eat a little bit of your food and your stuff are still there... I guess because theyre too busy and want to turnover the tables as soon as possible? NVM, not going to come again.
Expensive, creative treats. No pancakes available on our visit. No corgis either. I dont believe well be back.
Great food
Came here for a yelp event.
Cute drink & dessert shop with corgis as theme! Before you enter you can see the cute wall art and full of corgis everywhere inside. They also put lovely photos of owners & their pets on the wall. This is a one day only Yelp Experience so pretty much everyone in the store is Elite. Lots of people during 5ish-6pm and it took around 20min for the soufflé pancake to be ready. The taste of drink & dessert definitely needs some improvement. Just a cute soufflé pancake without taste is not going to attract me to come the second time.A cute drink and dessert shop with Corgi as the theme. You can see the illustrations on the wall before you get started, and the store is full of Corgi goods and furnishings after you get started. There are many photos of the owners and pets on the wall! This time the experience is only one day, so almost everyone in the store is Elite. When I came here, it was 5 o’clock or 6 o’clock. The crowd was very crowded. I waited about 20 minutes for the muffins. It may be because of the new store, drinks and desserts. The seasoning is not well grasped, and the taste is very weak. Although the muffins are lovely on the plate, if the taste does not improve, they should not come again.
The cakes made by my brother are very delicate, and the octopus balls are also very delicious
Alhambra has opened a new Koki-themed sweet drink shop with pure tea, milk tea, coffee and yoghurt, and the soft and soft Shufulei looks quite attractive. The store sells a variety of Keji image around, the fluffy Keji ass who doesnt want to take home!
