Over charged!! Trying to pull a fast one. Wont be coming back!

I have been honest with this place since 1980 but they have drop the ball most people working dont know anything a spend working time on the phone they use to have just about everything now they dont have any thing

Its a locally owned and operated hardware and lumber store, nice sales staff who are very knowledgeable.

Its good but only one complain..my dad got military discount but when we looked at receipt no discount was applied

While the staff is on hand to help, its hard to find someone who actually knows the products and their uses.

Im not one to write negative reviews, But this place is awful. I arrived 30 minutes after they opened on a Wednesday morning and had some questions about locating some very simple pvc plumbing parts. I was asked for help and was told by the ladies at the counter,”I don’t know” and then instead of going and asking someone who did they just turned around and continued gossiping. One of these girls was walking around with her phone in her pocket turned up all the way playing rap music. Once I found everything on my own. I went to register and stood there for 20-30 minutes while the lady running it was completely lost trying to locate items in the computer and not asking for help. Two different times she asked me if a 2’ piece of pvc was a 10’, and then asked if a 10’ piece was a 20’. There were multiple items i put back while she was chasing her own tail because I was so frustrated and didn’t want to risk her getting confused about them. These items would have cost me $250. Oh well there loss. FYI: I remained patient during all of this and was never once loud or pushy in fear that it would just slow down the process tenfold. Not sure if this is direct problem with those specific two girls or a training problem, but I won’t going back for a long time.

Ive found the staff to be friendly and helpful. If they dont have our what you want its possible for them to special order it.

The lady at the front counter was VERY RUDE!!!! we called ahead of time to see if they could cut some rebar and was told $1.50 a cut and when we got there they told us they wouldnt cut anything. And all but called us a liar when we told her we already called and they said they would cut it when we called. We sill proseaded to buy the rebar and they put in the wrong size and blamed us for it. We got our money back and will never step foot back in that place again.
