I absolutely love the windmill. The mini-golf is never maintained if youre looking for a fun game of mini golf. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise the ice cream and service is quick and delicious. The soft serve ice cream flavors are amazing. My favorite is the black raspberry soft serve. If you have yet to try this place, it is a must stop for a quick try.

We came and expected scarers and there were none ! it was 12 dollars per person and the lights weren’t even on for half of our game, also leaves were everywhere on playing field . water in all of the holes . just was mainly expecting scarers and there were none, def think it shouldn’t be 12 if they aren’t gonna have everything they advertise !

A fun little place for adults and kids to enjoy ice-cream, other treats, a quick bite, and to share a fun outdoor game of mini golf... Hopefully with things returning to normal, this awesome little establishment will come to have the necessary funds to fix up the place. It is a bit run down but it is wonderful to have such a place in the community. The ice-cream is okay, I wont criticize ice-cream in general but the windmills is not my -- favorite. I will visit again though because I really want to try the funnel cake. I have been wanting to try it ever since I learned about this place. But today was an absolute day for ice-cream.

Nice ice cream place with a fun mini-golf area behind it. The mini-golf appears to be under some renovation, but is still quite fun. The holes are a perfect blend of tricky and easy and perfect for young children. The ice cream is creamy and delicious. I recommend the turtle bar - its fantastic.

Cant go wrong with a swirl cone from the Windmill. Very friendly staff. The young lady at the window taking orders was very nice. I believe her name is Hannah.

The Halloween theme that was still in process of being completed but was artistically done, we enjoyed the paintings. The mini golf greens need some TLC though, there is alot of bricks loose & the greens bunched up in places but still a challenging mini golf session nonetheless. The staff inside could have been a little friendlier but we had a great time!

Soft serve here is wonderful!!! Peanut butter chocolate twist is so good and peanut buttery:) my son got a huge chip wich was great. However the3star review is for the mini golf. I grew up going to the windmill and it is sad to see the state of total disrepair that the course has been left in. It is basically unplayable with huge rips, holes and sides of the holes literally falling apart. Some of the holes are basically unplayable. I understand that 2020 has been hard on everyone but they should put a sign up at least letting customers know the course is “under construction” or something before we pay $8 each for un playable mini golf. I hope they are able to restore it someday to its former glory….

The place itself hasnt really changed since I was a kid but the area itself has grown where there use to be a driving range is now a housing plan of expensive houses so it makes the place look so small. I fear progress will eventually push out this local icon. The service was great, really nice people. My ice cream was good but I thought it had too many mint chips in it. Took away from the ice cream.

We heard about the haunted mini golf and had to check it out....it was a lot of fun! The artwork was amazing and the course bigger than we expected. And the chocolate peanut butter milkshake afterwards was so yummy!

Its awful. This review is for the haunted mini golf. The decorations are kind of okay(not really), but the courses themselves are mostly unplayable and uneven. Leaves everywhere from the trees, left over drink cups and trash on the courses. Rotting, smashed pumpkins. The worst part was the amount of bugs. There were so many flying gnats that we had to skip several holes. Then on the way home we kept finding dead and alive flies all over our clothes and in the car! Super gross. Complete waste of money.

Best place for ice cream around.

I grew up eating and playing mini golf here. I stopped going as a teenager due to the upkeep of the course.I recently visited for some ice cream and my childhood favorite, popcorn chicken(unfortunately they no longer sell the chicken). I was surprised to see that they’ve completely revamped the look and style of this place.I went around Halloween time. They had nice mini golf specials. I noticed a date night mini golf admission bogo. In addition to the specials they also had very nice decorations for Halloween.Loved this place as a kid and now love it as an adult.

Excellent ice cream and service

I have not had their ice cream so can only review the mini golf course. It is $11 per adult and $8 for a child. The price is ridiculous for what you get. It is an okay course. It is not maintained. There were leaves and sticks all over the green. The green on a few courses was coming up and one course was just a straight shot. There were a few props on the course but nothing extravagant or that caught your attention. Many of the props and boards to mark score were made out of metal so I suggest not going when its sunny because it reflects the sun. We will stick to Frontier Falls.

The ice cream is good here at Windmill, but definitely varies based on what person is handling your order that day. My husband and I enjoy the M&M snow storm, and Ive tried some sundaes that have all been good too. Ive never tried any of the food, but Im sure its good as well. The main reason for the docked star is due to the service being hit or miss (as previously mentioned). They also have mini golf which we did back when we were dating and was fun at the time, but I cant comment on how it is now.Overall Id recommend coming here if you like soft serve (they have Hersheys hard ice cream as well).

Long waits, the mini golf course is a mess, half the holes had torn up greens and a lot of the obstacles didnt work, parking is a mess, the staff isnt very efficient, hard to know where youre going on the course cause nothing is marked

Nice little place. The mini-golf course is fun, lots of shade with a few places to sit along the way. Our kiddos and us had a great time, then enjoyed some ice cream afterward. Good place to spend a family day. Well be back!

Summer is back in Beaver County!The Windmill is a good old fashioned ice cream stand with tasy burgers and chicken. My German Chocolate shake was amazing.They are taking precautions for Covid 19, so you can eat or play mini golf at ease.

The flavored soft serve did not have much flavor. The Snowstorm was very runny. The facilities are a little run down and could have been cleaned up a little more. Other local ice cream places are a better value.

We played at the haunted mini golf. Our little family had a lot of fun. The only thing disappointing is that this course is by no means at all stroller or disability friendly. It was also quite a wait for us because we ended up behind a larger family but otherwise it was a lot of fun and a nice place.We didnt have a chance to try the food our last visit but what we saw people with definitely looked yummy and we will be trying it the next visit for sure! The staff was very friendly and entertaining.

Nice place to hang out with the family. The Snow Storm was good with the vanilla soft serve. I wished that they asked me what flavor of soft serve I wanted; but, oh, well. Had fun with the mini golf. Wished it was more up to date but my kid had a blast.

Delicious and affordable

A classic thats been around longer than me! I went here as a teen and am now taking my 10&13-year-old kids! Theres been a few updates to the place but it is good! However, there are some greens that are showing their age. Some landscaping that is just starting to get in the way. Nothing that made our day any less enjoyable. Something that if not taken care of shortly will make it go downhill quick. Would have been $7 each but we got a Groupon that made it half price. We did not stay for treats this time but my memory says it is tasty!

Super creamy, no icey bits, totally delish. I had strawberry soft serve, it had a nice mild flavor and didnt taste artificial. Plus you can order inside where its air-conditioned, which is nice when its a thousand degrees outside.

Used to be much better. Prices went up and you dont get as much for you dollar now. Pretty slow sometimes but overall everything is delicious. Never golfed there but it doesnt look very good anyway.

The girls that work there are very friendly. We went when it was really hot which may have influenced a lower rating, but it is a cute course. It is not a difficult course, but has great decor.

Love this place! Great back patio to enjoy your food. If I were to make one suggestiin it would be to invest some bucks into the inside table area. That could look like a million bucks for about $400.00.
