Gorgeous location with amazing selection! Located in the Fairlane Shopping area and tons of nearby shops and restaurants. Newer store with huge aisles and friendly staff. Great parking and employees are very helpful. They have so much stuff Hobby Lobby did not in Taylor. Highly recommend this place!

I just want to give a special thank you to Syd. She has helped me with multiple custom frames and she is always very patient, helpful and kind. This last time I came in to have something framed Syd was actually clocked out and walking out of the door, she saw me with what she must’ve guessed was a picture I was going to frame and asked me if I was heading to the frame counter to which I replied “yes”. She actually turned around and clocked back in without any prompting just to help me. This sort of customer service should be acknowledged and commended and Michael’s is better for keeping her around.

Love this place! Great selection, excellent variety of Decor for every season. Helpful staff, clean and neat isles, handicap accessible, low prices. Shop inside or Curbside pick up during COVID. Very accommodating. I’m looking forward to in house crafts again once safely permitted. 5 Stars.

Very aesthetic store with a decent variety of all craft needs. The Halloween selection just recently came out and there are some spooktacular items. A decent selection of fake flowers we made bouquets from, sand and crystals and succulents to make decorations. Plenty of acrylic paint, though I wasnt able to get white tempura. They have several good items for wedding decor as well, but not very extensive.

Store in Allen Park, MI is usually very orderly and neat, esp considering how many people frequently go through the items. I had looked for an item online and was happy to find amount and location so much easier than other crafting sites. I hadnt been in the store (as most of the population is just really getting about easily,) and was happily surprised to find a decent amount of fabric available. Had to search for someone to cut it, but the helpful and kind younger woman led me back to the cutting area, quickly and then I found she had went straight to registers from floor when lines got longer. She cashed my order out, and wished I had gotten her name to give her credit!

Its been a minute since I came to Michaels. It is still organized, have new products and had some good sales. I stopped coming before because they coupon policy sucks but I had a gift card.

I do not mind paying full price for an item. However, if Im giving a coupon and told I can use it on ANY REGULAR priced item, I bring you a regular priced item and you tell me I cannot use it then I have a slight problem. There should big a huge sign somewhere that states what items can never be used with a coupon. I had a $20 off coupon that I was trying to use on a $200 item. It was not on sale and it was not clearance. She told me that there are some brands in the store (Cricut being one) that you cannot use a coupon on.

Tea candles are the best buy for me, as well as many sale items you will only find at Micheals.

Waited for a package that was dropped off there. It took 15 minutes of standing there before anyone even acknowledged us. Another waiting customer had to say something before someone said theyd be right there. It still took another 15-20 before anyone came to help. A transaction that shouldnt taken 5 min or less took almost 45 min.

This place seriously have all the craft supplies you will ever need to make anything, they also have a variety of flowers, plants and other items to decorate any room in your home. The store is always clean and neat. You dont find too many staff members walking around the store to assist the customers at all. The staff is always nice and friendly and never had a bad experience here. If you never been I recommend checking it out

I came to write this review for one reason, and that is because I came across the most kind and helping employee SID!!! she was clearly busy with her work in the fabric department, but I asked her if she could possibly get me another employee to help with a gift for my father for my recently deceased mother. she went out of her way to direct me to many isles across the store to show me exactly what to use for my project and exactly how to do it. without her, I would’ve literally been lost and probably have not even had the confidence to continue my project for my father. she was so sympathetic and kind throughout our whole interaction, I am so grateful for her. she definitely deserves a round of applause and a huge hug if it weren’t for Covid!

Not only did the male worker discriminate me he wouldnt let see markers they had in back due to a cabinet that was broken for paint markers. They are available to purchase online in store but cant see them ? Way to go michaels.

Love this place. They sent me a $60 voucher to shop. I spent 1.37. It gets no better than that. Got everything I needed and more. Dissapoited about them not selling thr beads I was looking for, but still pleased. 😁

Its has good regular crafts . low prices and sales are the time. trust me. i have 3 kids. i tried to save on crafts by buying from the dollar store but its not worth it. go to micheals, buy the good stuff and make your self or kid happy. they are practicing covid safety protocols

I went to purchase some items that were on a discount table. The sign clearly said $1 or less. So I scanned the product the regular price appeared which was $9.97. Cashier said I can let you get for $5.97. I request to see a mgr. 20 mins later no manager, so I left. I was very upset at the cashier.

They had one I was shopping for. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The shopping trend now is no one is working the floor to assist or answer questions. I wanted to know the price of acrylic paint. I asked an associate to scan it for me. He wasnt that friendly. I think he was a manager..but anyway I got what I wanted.

Today I had the best customer experience I have ever had at a Michaels store. Sid helped my girlfriend and I find the supplies we needed, helped us check out and even call another store to get information for us. I will be going to the Dearborn Michaels from now on.

I was looking for lanyards and they were out saying they were restocking. Michaels is a teacher hot spot and most shelves were empty.They still have quite a bit of Halloween decorations at 40% off.

Poor customer service. I dont know how people put they have good helpful cashier. I went to pick up an online order, went to curbside and called. The person who answered the phone asked me to come inside for get helped. Then I went inside and pressed the help button, waited. nobody showed up for more than 15 mins, cashiers saw me standing there for help. Once they did checkout other customers they moved away. After 20 mins standing at help tower, I went to cashier and asked whether that help button works. She replied it should while carrying her minor work. Didnt bother to ask do I need help. And then I told her I came to online pickup. And took another good 5 minutes to find it, and with other cashiers help. They didnt bother to say sorry for the long wait. And this is not the first time. This is the 3rd time. Last time they not only didnt appear to help. I couldnt wait and waste my time so I left and came another day and called to pick my order up. I would not recommend, specially if your skin color is not white. I wish not to come this place ever. !!!

I love shopping at this place because everything thats I need to work on a project is right there. And there is no need for me to look at other stores.

Its October and they had MAYBE 20 items for Halloween and a whole 4 isles dedicated to Christmas already. How is it that smaller stores carry more options? If youre looking buy seasonal decor, other than Christmas, I suggest NOT going to this location.

I was on hold for FIFTY minutes waiting to get help to see if they had an item in stock. I called off a different number and said hey making sure you didn’t forget about me and was told oh we just closed you’ll have to call back tomorrow. Upon which she hung up the phone immediately then picked up the line on which I was on hold for fifty minutes and hung up. Absolutely HORRIBLE service!! Clearly poorly managed with workers that don’t care.
