I like Ace because it is a hardware store. if I go to Ace for home repair materials, tools paint, plumbing or electrical, they have what I need. Staff members knowledgeable to help with your projets

I gave a 3* Google review and was asked to take a survey to provide additional feedback. The link for this survey didnt work and I had to copy and paste the link without the period at the end of the sentence to make it work and that epitomizes why I didnt give a better review. Then I typed this paragraph into the survey and hit submit and the form failed. Fatal error.I wanted to order online and pay and then come in to pick up to avoid an much contact as possible. Your website had 3 of 4 items I needed but said the fourth item would be available a few days later so I called the store to verify the other item was in stock and it was. Apparently there was no good way to order all 4 for pick-up and prepay because the website did not have the correct inventory. So I had to order 3 items online and prepay and still go through the store and pay at the register. So I had extra contact instead of less. The staff was great in the store. Very helpful. Your online game needs help.

Needed a battery for my car key fob, very unique battery. Had my battery and also learned they sell the key fobs as well, Chevy, Dodge and a lot of Ford. Dont know about their cost vs Dealers price. Check them out.

Very helpful... Actually have a person cutting keys! Keys always seem to work better when a person cuts them and it did.

The service was great. The prices were reasonable. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I love that particular Ace Hardware.

They carry stuff the big box mainstream seems to have forgot. I wanted an led UV-C disinfecting lamp for my workplace lunchroom during covid. In stock here, had to order everywhere else.

Good selection of hardware, and home products. Great sales on post holiday goods, and a polite staff! I went about 45 minutes before closing so the availability was less than normal, but you shouldnt really expect otherwise. Overall a good experience and pleasant shopping trip!

I decided to call the Allen Park store after reading the owners letter that encourages us to call the store for curbside. I was greeted rudely on the phone and told no contact curbside is not at all possible. Too busy. False advertising. Will spread the word.

My Go-to hardware pickup spot! Its no fastenall or mc-master car but in almost every pinch this is where I go. I just wish they kept the METRIC hardware stocked better! Everything is METRIC these days. Most times I go in I end up cleaning them out or having to drive to the other Ace.

Manger was a bit grumpy when asked a question but the rest of the employees are more then willing to help and are super friendly. Love this place for the in and out factor. They have what you NEED.(Edit)So I went here again recently to get some paint. I will yet AGAIN say the staff that works here is awesome and very helpful, but the manager seems as if he wished he was somewhere else, not very friendly, or nice when asked a question. Maybe a vacation is in order to unwind and relax? A smile and a friendly hello go along way to keeping people coming to the store. J.s.

Stood at their at the desk in the middle of the store last week to price a keyfob case. There was a lady behind the counter that didnt acknowledge me one single time. I probably stood there a good couple minutes. Another older lady came to the counter and helped me, and was very helpfull. The keyfob was high as hell, but thats not my issue. I didnt even buy one. The other lady couldve at said said something.

Great Lakes Ace was fabulous, I purchased the Command Hooks I had been looking for also got a tip on how to use the suction hooks I already had, thanks.

The lady that was working there was very helpful. I miss that in the big box stores...

A rather well organized hardware store, you will almost always find what you are looking for and it will be for a reasonable price. I would recommend this place for any home project.

Didnt have what I was looking for. When I asked where something was the girl who was just standing w/ another girl by the key dept pointed me in the direction of the item. Lazy. Bad customer service. Felt like I was bothering her. Better experience at a big box store.

I walked in the door today needing a key made. A gentleman was greeting me as I walked in and made it right away. Very professional and quick service thank you, I was in a hurry.

Cannot access store due to blockage on sidewalks leading up to the store entrance. The only way to get to this store when Im walking is to walk in the parking lot where Ive been a part of and witnessed close calls with speeding cars. One of my favorite local stores - They carry a bunch of different items and the prices are in close comparison to the big box stores (one of the businesses I own is an Electrical contractor and am also an Inspector for several cities) - Also, there is always plenty of help working and you never have to mindlessly search for an employee - We just enjoy walking around in there, next thing you know its a hundred dollars later, lol 😊
