If I could rate this location a ZERO I would!!Several months ago I had 2 separate 10x10 units at this location. One for my business and another for personal. My initial rates were fair and competitive with other facilities near by but as time has gone on, rent has randomly gone up here, where the other companies have remained relatively the same.I ended up moving my personal unit to a facility down the street for half the price & better customer service!! But unfortunately with the high demand for storage units recently, I have not had the luck in moving my business unit to the same property as of yet.The day that I moved out of my personal unit, I finished packing up my last load around 7/7:30pm (BEFORE THE GATES LOCK FOR THE NIGHT) and their brand new keypad system was completely shut down. I could not leave the property and continuously called all of the numbers I could possibly find to get some help leaving the property. I had my 2 kids at home waiting for me and ended up stranded behind the gates for almost 3 HOURS before someone showed up to enter the property. And by the grace of god she happened to know someone who worked there and they were able to open the gate.After all of the messages by phone and online that I left, NOT ONE PERSON called me back 1) to apologize for the inconvenience or 2) to acknowledge the fact that I was moving out of my unit.Now several months later, they have sent a bill to collections trying to get me pay over $210 because “I didn’t inform them I was moving out” ….. but they definitely would have been informed had someone returned my emails or phones calls ….. the second I have the opportunity to move my business unit from this property I will and these people will not ever get another dime from me! Customer service goes a long way ….. in either direction! And their lack of interest in their downfalls has completely destroyed their reputation in my book. They don’t even answer the phone when you call about misc things but to not answer or return calls when you have someone locked on the property is completely unacceptable in every way possible!In short …. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY & GO RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Never had any problems here.There good have been more carts for moving things. Also would be more convenient to be open at all hours, but I understand.

Had a great experience at this public storage. Kari, the manager, took extra steps to make sure I was taken care of. Great customer service and will recommend this location in the future. Conveniently located next to Penske truck rental.

Kari, Miya and Maria were very kind and helpful in deciding what size storage I needed for my things. They thoroughly informed me about all of the times, paperwork and things you need to know to access and pay for the storage and I greatly appreciate their help.

My husband and I rented a unit for his fun vehicle, Kari and her staff went above and beyond to be incredibly accommodating to all our needs. They made it effortless when we had to switch to a larger unit the day before arrival and the check in process was quick and efficient!

Ive had my unit 1 year and the rate changed twice with no warning ⚠️. My units light has never worked. In the winter I seen rodent foot prints in the snow, snow that was inside my unit on top of that. I call 15 times in a day before I just give up. Rarely someone actually answers. Is the only way to get a call back to leave a voice mail?? Like why do I have to call and leave a vm to say why Im calling before my call is taken? Does this establishment or employees within screen calls???

I went into this storage facility and spoke to Bill Sule on Thursday 5/20/21. He was very polite and answered all of my questions. I dont know anything about renting storage space, but Bill explained everything to me so I could understand how it worked. I told him I had to talk to my mom about renting the storage space and would get back to him. He is an asset to this company. I felt comfortable with the answers Bill Sule gave me.

We are very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism with the Allen Park Public Storage. We would recommend this location to anyone. Devin and Kari did a wonderful job helping us with our unit. Thank you again for the great service.. 😊

Bill provided Excellent customer service. I was unable to complete closure of my account because no was available. I called the office the next morning and Bill assisted even promising to call me back to verify closure, in which he did.

The storage and the prices is okay I guess. Nothing special. I was late due to pandemic struggles and last few months it was $136 for late fee. I was behind again couple days and recently was charged $164 this time...so the more you struggle the more screwed you get. They are fine though your either the helping customer services business or the stick it in and slowly and gradually make it deeper and deeeeperrr. Its fine though folks. Dont mess w these guys they mean business and youll Pay

Overpriced, OMG. $200 for an outside unit? I pay $140 for inside heated and cooled 10 by 10 in Farmington Hills at Michigan Storage.

Walked into a public storage yesterday and was greeted by Bonnie. I was just looking for some information but she was so helpful I ended up with a storage space at a great price. If you need to store anything stop in and see her . She will hook you up at a great price.

I can not give this place more than 5 stars or I would. The whole staff from the district manager down to the customer representative we dealt with while signing up for a unit were awesome. Being from out of state and needing a unit asap due to the death of my mother-in-law we showed up 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday evening the computer system had a hiccup and the young lady at the counter never got flustered. She contacted someone on the phone quickly and had the issue resolved quickly and professionally. The whole staff we encountered during our signup and unloading were outstanding. Thank you to the staff at Public Storage in Allen Park!!!

I came in to get a unit and Nina was amazing and informative! She showed me ways to protect my goods and how to pack my stuff so that my stuff will be protected. She was very out going and sophisticated! I Will definitely come back to public storage and use them again because of her customer service! If I could give her 10 stars I would! If I could give 0, I would. When I first rented my unit at the end of June, they lady there was very nice and helpful. I had a great experience. However, moving out was a different story. In order to not be charged for September, I had to be moved out by August 31, at 9 PM. Which I did, I left at roughly 8:20 PM with the last of my things. The man working there seemed new and thats ok, I was patient and understanding. I got upset when I was told that after 9 PM, my gate code would no longer work, and that if I was not out of the gates by then I would be locked in for the evening. That seemed absolutely wrong to me. I can understand not being able to get in, but to keep you from leaving??? After all of that, I made sure to be out early. Everything went smoothly, until the next day, September 1, I received an email stating that even though I moved out, I still had to pay September rent. I cannot believe that their customer service is this poor all of the time. I tried to give the man a break because he was new, but he called a manager and got the info directly from her. I seriously hope they work on the policies in the future.

I was having issues with my debit card, and Lameka J. Went above and beyond to accommodate me. Not only was she professional, she was warm and engaging. Without a doubt my best experience with this company thus far, and it was made possible by Lameka. Will definitely recommend this facility to family and friends based off of this interaction. :)

Received great service upon arrival for my unit rental. I found the two ladies that helped me to be very professional, pleasant and very helpful. I wish I wrote their names down to mention them by name. The facility is clean and well laid out and the location is great.This is a great facility.

I talked to Nina when i was there. She was extremely nice and helpful. She made sure she explained everything to me clearly. I felt like i was an important customer at the store. Nina has great customer service. I appreciate her help with everything. She should me my unit and help me decide which unit would best fits my needs. Moving in general is stressful, but salvaging what you have left and moving due to a house fire is so much worse. The property manager Kelli was not only helpful but so understanding during this stressful time. I figured this process would just amplify the stress but Kelli went out of her way to make sure this process was as easy and stress free as possible. I highly recommended storing at this facility for any and all of your storage needs. I would give Kelli 20 stars if I could!

Received a solid deal on a 10x15 unit. Kelli was great and helped me get into my unit even though the power at the facility was down after a storm. So far so good on the experience (just a couple months in on my rental).

We recently moved from North Carolina to Michigan and I had never used a Storage Facility before. After asking around and searching the internet. I found Public Storage. It made my moving experience easier to handle with such an extremely helpful staff. Time was taken to explain the storage process and even when I still made a few errors they worked with me! I am very pleased with the cleanliness of the storage units and the professionalism displayed. Wonderful place!

My experience was fantastic. Nina was the best. I left feeling confident and secure. During a time in my life when I needed things to be simplified Public Storage was the place for me. I move my things this week and now I dont have to worry anymore. Thank you Public Storage.

LaMeka was extremely nice, polite, and helpful when I called and inquired about a storage unit at this location.

I came to get my unit today & received great service from Nina. she answered all my questions, helped me with the size and gave me helpful tips. during my time there a customer came in to get a unit & he was a total piece of work. during my time in the office he kept interrupting the process and asking question and being impatient. Nina handled Joshua I believe his name was with patience and poise that I wouldnt have offered his rudeness.

I like this facility. It has a very private feel because its of where its located. Which is something that I really like. Its clean and the staff is great. Theres also a manager who lives on site so I feel my belongings are in great hands.

I have used Public Storage for years now, and Ive always appreciated their customer service. Today I was a little confused just as to what it was that I was long for, and where it was and just as I was about to just say forget it The manager on site (Courtney Grant) helped me out a great deal. She helped me locate boxes. know that by not knowing exactly what I was looking for it was probably frustrating, but she was VERY patient with me, and actually turned it into a fun experience. I thought it was very thoughtful for the manager herself to come help me. Made my day.

I was closing out my account today and interrupted Jasmine while she was cleaning. She was very polite, friendly, and she was helpful. She dropped what she was doing to make sure that I had done everything right to close out my account. She is definitely the reason that I would be coming back to this location if I ever need you guys again!

Rented a space from Kelli this morning. I’m very happy with my decision to rent here. Property is well kept and customer service is great!

Went to public storage on Enterprise Drive in Allen Park. Talked with Bonnie. She was very nice and was able to answer all my questions. Nice talking with her and plan on getting a unit there.

First they give you a great price but then they lie about you needing insurance. You dont. In fact it is actually against the law for them to insist that you do. Only after you insist, 3 times, that you wont do they let you sign an insurance waiver. Then they insist that you have to use their lock. Again, you dont, and only after you refuse to buy their lock, 3 times again, do they let you use yours. And finally, after youve been in there for 3 or 4 months they slowly raise the rate. It seems to be corporate policy because Ive heard the same story from many people storing stuff at other Public Storage facilities. There are other places run way better and much more honest.

Nina was very helpful. She was very nice. I had my two children with me being a handful and she was just wonderful with understanding the situation. She told me how to protect my stuff from any type of damages.

Horrible experience. When I tried to walk into the office I was surprised to find it locked, even though their office hours clearly said they were open at that time. I was even more surprised when I looked into the office and saw a woman inside texting on her phone. When I knocked on the door the woman looked up, and shooed me away. Annoyed, I went to go sit in my car to wait for her to open the door. I was expecting for her to open it in max maybe 15 minutes, but she waited a full hour before opening the door. When I got into the office the woman, whose name I found out was Jasmine, was very rude. She said Dont you know not to bother people when they are chilling, sometimes I just close up this office because of irritating people like you! After she said that I immediately walked out and decided to take my business elsewhere. I went to Stop N Lock Self Storage which was not far. The people are friendly and the storage units are great. Dont waste your time here, theres too many other options in the area.

Nothing makes moving easier than helpful, knowlegeable, and personable staff!! Kelli was super nice and helped us find the right unit at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend her to all who are looking for storage space.

Great place to store your things. After searching for a unit big enough to store almost a whole house, I came across Public Storage. Their units were bigger and they had the best price. First month $1, you cant beat that.

The office manager Nina was informative and so nice! Thankfully after talking to her during the tour she helped me realize the unit I thought would be big enough, wasnt. Im so glad she recommended the bigger one! Most importantly, she was SO nice to my children! Ill definitely be renting another unit from her in the fall when I store my spring/summer seasonal items!

Great place to buy boxes. i ship internationally and they helped me with some boxes and tape and bubble pops to ship. very strong boxes and prices are good for high end stuff. Girl is very nice and helpful in office.

They said they would Reserve me a drive up Locker they called me every day for the two days before my appointment day want to know what time anytime I try to call them back they didnt answer the phone Ive left messages then we finally got ahold of them told him what time wed be there and then we get there theyre not there had to wait and then they didnt even give us a the drive-up unit we had ask for it seems like a nice place but we didnt want to have to carry our stuff that far back to get it into a room we wanted something simple and easy

Has indoor and outdoor storage either one you prefer. If you dont want your things getting ruined you can always go to indoor the worker Wendy was an excellent help with us and getting us to s storage that we needed.

I came in today to get a storage unit and I had the best time with Kim. She is awesome and she was also able to help me with some extra items I needed for my upcoming move. Her moving tips are great and she has wonderful customer service.

I thought the service was excellent. I was really happy with the sales representative, I believe her name was Kristine. Very prompt service, clean vicinity, and all around great place to have my belongings stored. I will recommend this facility to all my friends.

Nina and Kim have better customer service skills than some of the other storage facilities. Nina was on point with all the answers to my questions.. I received a great deal.

This was our first experience with finding a storage unit, and Kim has been wonderful! My sister and I were showed everything we need to know, and she answered all our questions. She gave us good advice, and she has made us very comfortable with our decision to use Public Storage!

Good place with good hours...as long as you pay the bill on time. Otherwise beware of the late fees, on top of late fees, on top of late fees. If you are already using storage in a bad financial place - DO NOT STORE - your belongings will be held for randsom.
