Great experience at Trek in Allen. As someone who’s newish to the sport, I felt assure that they were being honest in what services I needed for our bikes even though they weren’t Trek branded bikes. Jason took great care my wife’s bike along with getting mine tuned like new. Highly recommend them.

These guys are great. They are extremely helpful and friendly. They didnt seem to look down on me for wanting an entry level mountain bike and try to upsell me like several of my other local bike shops did. I strongly recommend them. They did a great job setting up my bike and even helped me cram it in my tiny trunk for the drive home until I could find a rack that fits my car. (The one they sell unfortunately does not fit mine.) Go see them, you wont regret it.
Great staff and I dont even own a Trek. These guys are always willing to help. they have a great attitude, and a lot of knowledge. Tune ups, flats, new chain. They do everything pretty quickly and with a smile on their face. Thanks guys!

Seth did an outstanding job throughout the sales process but especially the day of delivery. He prepared the bicycle perfectly, with care and knowledge of every part. I noticed he paid special attention to the bicycle’s drivetrain and brakes. He also installed and setup the computer to my liking and taught me how some new features on modern road bikes work (shifters, removing the wheels, etc). I tested the bike the following day on a 20 mile ride and it performed flawlessly. I would definitely recommend anyone to buy their bicycles from Trek Allen.
No other shop can compete with these guys. You can drop your bike off for service and get it back within 24 to 48 hours, as opposed to other local shops that take a week or more for similar service. The staff at Trek in Allen are extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Especially Jason! He is is simply the best service techs I have ever come across. Jason always makes me feel like I was his only customer.
Service is top notch. They are all very knowledgeable and always go above and beyond to help me get what I need/want. Even in these strange times where bike inventory is super limited they were able to get the bike I wanted in 2 weeks when everywhere else was saying 12-18 months. Patrick even remembered me commenting on a sticker that was on a customers bike that I thought was cool, he went out on his own a found the sticker and had it on my bike when I picked it up.
Barney was very helpful locating a replacement cassette over the phone and had the part available for quick pick up when I showed up at the store.He also gave me some good information about current new bikes.Thanks!
We (me and my husband) order our Trek bikes through them, best decision ever. Their post sale costumer service is amazing!! Im clumsy and this is the kind of shop o need in my life to keep my bike from falling apart. Best team of people, always so nice and caring.
In life things happen, let alone in business. There was a mishap that occurred with my order. I was heartbroken because it was a gift for my husband. This mishap was not my fault nor was it something that Trek Bicycle of Allen had any control over. It was a supply chain issue that unfortunately affected my order. It would take several months before I would be able to get my hands on the exact model of the bicycle I wanted for my husband. However, they did everything in their power to restore some joy in my heart.After I told them that I found another store that happen to carry the bike in a different state, they quickly arranged with that shop to make sure I got the bicycle. They went above and beyond for me and I didn’t ask them to. Patrick and his entire team were amazing every step of the process!This entire experience has made me want get into bicycling. They also took time to educate me on various aspects of bicycling. There is also so much camaraderie that I witnessed. People actually caring about you beyond a sell @ the shop.Thank you Trek Bicycle of Allen! You went above and beyond with your customer service.
Excellent service! Highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a bike, maintenence, or accessories.I had an issue with a pump malfunctioning and it was as easy as taking it back and getting another one.Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, just what you want in a local bike shop.Their selection is recovering, cant wait to go back when it gets to full inventory again.
I brought in a new bike(not a Trek) that was having problems. Jason took a look and decided he was going to stick with me and see this issue through! He advised me and helped me work with the manufacturer to make it right. He ended up selling me some disc brake rotors, but didnt make much money on my business.What he did make was a customer for life! Best customer service Ive received in a bike shop EVER!!!! My next bike WILL be a TREK!!!

Great service from everyone at the shop! Always very easy to talk to from the front desk to the service technicians. They quickly diagnosed what was required, recommended a service package that saved me money and had the work done in just a couple of hours. I couldnt be happier! Dale fixed my bike, it turned out to be something simple! They have great service and bikes, super helpful and friendly! I am on my way to Colorados to make piano music videos and really needed my bike, what an awesome relief that they fixed it, on a Sunday even!!

Friendly staff--help from several different folks walking by as I wrenched on my bike in the shop. I rode my bike there and was invited in to park my bike in an inside rack (in the AC!). Asked tons of questions about accessories and no one got annoyed by my questions, and they were happy to let me carry things over to my bike and trial fit them. Super friendly and helpful--cant wait to go back!
We went to various bike shops in north Dallas area before trying Trek Bicycle store in Allen. They were the only store who gave us a approximate future date. And they kept their word! We got our bikes ready on the day promised. Another great this is they don’t push sale. Every sales person at that location is friendly and understand your needs. This was our first time buying bikes in the USA. Highly recommend.
Billy Bob took great care of me! Not only did he go out of his way to find a Trek Domane in my size, he took the time to patiently get to know how I planned to ride the bike and set me up nicely with a package that fits the purpose perfectly. Ordered bikes for my wife and I last year. We had to wait a bit because of covid. Billy Bob is awesome very helpful and informative. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I am an older person and hadn’t biked in many years and I was intimidated at the thought of trying. Billy Bob let me test a Trek Verve+3 and explained the controls and features. I bought the bike. Store employees were friendly and helpful in choosing accessories, and I purchased several. The total experience exceeded my expectations.
Jakeb was a huge help in assisting me in finding the right bike for my needs. He showed me around the shop pointing out the benefits from each different bike, got me fitted to the appropriate bike, as well as recommended the tools and accessories needed for the bike I purchased. Oh em gee, where do I even begin. Jason Ramirez is the yoda of bike repairs, incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He just GETS IT. I’ve been going to this place for a few months and man, Jason takes customer service to a whole new level. I brought my bike in for shifters problem, he quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended a few repairs. He always thoroughly checks the bike to make sure everything is working fine. Truly puts safety first. I went in and got my tires replaced, his recommendations were on point. He doesn’t try to nickel and dime you, always goes above and beyond in his preventative maintenance checks to detect any mechanical issues before they occur. This dabber of a fella instinctively knows how bikes work and can spot any issues within seconds. Absolutely amazing customer service every damn time. Always great service, quick and reasonable pricing. Keep up the amazing work, Jason.
Love the quality of my bike so far, and the service at Trek Allen is top notch! The staff there is extremely helpful in all aspects even to a novice like me! Many different associates offered to help us, made sure we were taken care of, and also followed up on any questions we had. Patrick assisted us the most. I bought a new Trek Domane. Called ahead to see if they had my size and they did. They pulled the bike aside and set it up with pedals for me to go on a test ride. Friendly and helpful staff and very accommodating. While I was there a couple of teenage boys came in with a tire problem, and they fixed it on the spot no charge. Seemed like a genuinely nice staff helping foster a good biking community

Went into the Trek store in Allen and was quickly turned away and was told I would not find any marlin 5 or marlin 6 bikes anywhere we went to Richardson bike mart and they had several also the customer service at Richardson bike mart was outstanding. The guy at Trek didn’t even try to sell us on anything else or look up online he basically just said they don’t have anything when there was tons of bikes in the store.
My bike rode outstanding this morning after a tune up at Trek Bicycle Allen. I will visit this place again for sure!

The best bike buying experience I have ever had. Billy Bob (that’s his real name) helped me find the bike I was looking for and talked me through the technical stuff on the bike. I’m not an avid rider or in great shape...just a mom trying to keep up with her kids on their bikes. He never made me feel dumb and even helped me get the bike on my rack. He was sincerely just a great guy. Definitely would recommend this place for sure!!!!

Incredible service from Jason. Brought my son’s 12” bike in for a brake tune-up and to verify the freewheel was working properly. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a quick brake adjustment while I was at the counter free of charge since nothing major was wrong. Update to my earlier review: I visited Trek Bicycles of Allen to pickup my new Verve 2 bike. Once again customer service at its best! Patrick who helped setup the new bike with the accessories required is really knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. He patiently listened and answered all the questions I had. Patrick made sure the features of the bike are explained in great detail. You rock Patrick! All-in-all great experience one more time, I will keep coming back for all my bike needs to Trek Bicycles of Allen.Best customer experience in a bike shop ever!!! Great people. Very helpful. From my observations they treat everyone, experienced cyclist and obvious newbie, the same. Thats not the case for most bike shops and is my most important criteria even though Im an experienced cyclist and often receive good service at most shops as soon as they realize it. When I see a shop treat someone like they arent worthy of being in the shop I treat the bike shop like they arent worthy of my business, because they arent. That doesnt happen here. Thank you for that!

Just moved to the area and brought my bike in with a broken brake cable. Jason fixed it same day without an appointment. He also took some time to show me on the computer some local routes and some places to avoid. Went in the next day again to pick up an accessory and he introduced me to Joe who showed me more routes. The team is super personable and very non-judgemental. They take the time to help all cyclists, not just the elite ones. This was truly the first time I have really felt comfortable in a bike shop, I wish they were all like this. If you need help, this is your place, I know I will be back.
This was my third time to have my bike worked on here. All have been great - including them fixing my bike after a crash. Not only fixed everything but, quickly. Today, needed help putting a new seat on - one I didn’t even buy here (a gift from my brother.) They helped while I waited and didn’t even charge me.Great people, great place!
As a TREK fan, I think its a great place to look for a good bicycle. I ordered two Pre-calibers for my children (it was a long wait, but worth it!). Barney was the guy who attended us, and he was kind, and his advising was very helpful.

Fast service, bike was ready in about 24hours for tune-up, bar tape, and chain. They offered advice on other service items and accepted that I didnt want to do all of them on this visit.
I walked in because it is a small local business - I bought because of their sale person. I was worried at first that the sales kid was just that... too young to really understand what I needed - BUT after spending 4 minutes talking to him I realized he knew exactly what I needed. Seth didnt try to over sell me, in fact I ended up with a totally different bike than I thought I wanted....and LOVE it! It is perfect for my needs. It came in a month early, and Seth took the time to help me pick out the right shoe, saddle and tweaked the bike to make it fit me just perfectly. Great service, especially from Jason. Brought my bike in to get flat fixed and had free adjustment done on brakes since I bought bike here. Got home and rear brake seemed off. Had to bring it back but Jason took care of it and made sure I was happy. These guys seem super busy during the pandemic but seem to take care of everyone in a timely manner. Highly recommended.
Purchased my first bike last weekend from Amy. I walked in very intimidated, its been decades since I have rode a bike. Amy made me feel comfortable right away. She helped me find the bike that fit my needs and she explained every little detail. She was fast and efficient but I never felt rushed. Patrick and the shop was EXCELLENT! He took my grandsons bike in for a blown flat tire (I had over inflated it!) when you were closed (I did not realize it) and he was eating lunch! He was very kind to advise potential cost or repair and assured me he would take care of it! He called the next day with the bike repaired and ready to go. He advised of additional tune-up needs which I approved. He also took extra time to adjust brakes and add epoxy to reinforce the handle bar connection! When I picked up the bike he advised me that the tubes were on sale so I bought another for another bike I was working on! Thank you again Patrick! Gene Scott

I went here to purchase cycling shoes for my gym group class. We were greeted at the door and I had my bike shoes fitted very patiently, since In new to the cycling lingo, I figured the clerk would lose his patience with me but that was not the case. I was shown different colors to pick from. The cleats were not only available, but they had the courtesy to install them for me nice and secure. Will definitely return and recommend.
Joe Taylor did an amazing job on my Klein frame build. I could not get to the build on my own and heard great things about Bicycles Plus after my former Go-To bike shop was struggling on multiple fronts. Anyway, Bicycles Plus has been super busy but Joe took the time with me and did a wonderful job on my build. Additionally, his follow up and genuine interest in my bike is noteworthy.

I am brand new to cycling. The last time I had a bicycle was when I was 16. This was my first stop to find a bike and I am glad this was the first place I came to because I didn’t need to go anywhere else! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with all the COVID stuff going on, they had an excellent system in place to assist customers. Amy took the time to help me one on one and explain the differences between the models I was interested in and was very patient. She got me fitted and took the time to look up arrival dates for the specific colors of the models I wanted. 10/10 would recommend this shop.
Patrick was great with repairs and finished earlier than expected. I would highly recommend this place for bike repairs.I am changing my rating from five to three stars because of the manager Billy Bob. Were it not for the repair service, I would have given it a one star.In one of my subsequent visits, I decided to buy a bike and Billy Bob immediately started to help me out with the process after I entered the store. After spending a few minutes, he told me that he had to help out someone else and handed me over to a rookie employee with whom I had to start the process all over again. He was not at all as knowledgeable as Billy Bob and I felt very frustrated with the whole experience. This is because I came before the other customer and Billy Bob did not give me any reason for leaving me in the middle of the process to help someone else.I saw him helping white customers after handing me over to the rookie employee. This made me wonder if he had some preference of treating his customers based on the color of their skin (I am a non-white person). Whatever it was, I felt deeply hurt because of his non-professional attitude. Being a manager, he should know it better than anyone else about treating his customers.
I took them a dirty bike with all kinds of work needed to be done and I got it back quickly looking beautiful and working perfectly, it wasn’t cheap but I love my bike I feel it was a fair price. I will definitely go back to bicycles plus. The customer service was outstanding, specifically BillyBob!!
Barney!!! He is the man!! In addition to being a jazz afficionado hes a great salesperson. He listened intently to my off-handed comment on the effect Shimanos had on my feet while spinning and made an excellent choice for me and for my husband (whos going to be a newby). He clearly is proud of the work he does and works at putting the customer at ease..novice to experienced. Awesome individual and Id definitely come back.
