Homer Hearing is excellent. Dr John is very concerned for her patients. Crystal is always ready to help you when you call in or go in to have your hearing aids cleaned. Highly recommend!

Great place for hearing aid and audiology service include hearing test, hearing aid upgrading, aid repair, replace parts, etc, and other accessories. Friendly staffs and good environment. But to be honest, the cons is payment is out of my pocket due to they dont accept my medicaid insurance after my TWC with vocational rehabilitation case closed.Another thing is sometimes my hearing got up and down with sound issue. I had been to that place to get hearing aid repair like 3 times with warranty covered but still few months later my hearing keep up and down with sound problem again and again. Even I change the battery and still the same problem. I do not understand why. That is why I would like to have replacement instead repairing. Because repairing never work to keep permanently. I have to get an appointment again that for hearing aid check up or something else. Since they dont accept my insurance that I have to pay out of pocket for whatever service they do for me. Waste the time for not getting my aids to be working permanently. It is not same as my precious hearing clinic in the past. I might quit going to this clinic and look for another one.Thanks for your service, anyway.

Dr. Angela John is a terrific audiologist. Professional, caring, best Ive ever experienced. Always has the patients interest foremost in mind. Ive referred both my wife and daughter, so she now works with other members of the family.

Ive had a severe hearing loss for decades. Ive tried several very expensive hearing aids, from CICs to those bulky over the hear aids, all of which have been less than satisfactory, but my visit with Dr. John today at the Allen location gave me more hope than Ive had in a long time. She KNOWS her hearing aids!! I was so excited about the prospects with the new aids I ordered that I cried. I actually cried. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ finding out all she had to say was Theres no place like home. So, I guess for me I could say, Theres no place like Gomer Hearing Center. Thank you, Dr. John.Update: I just had my 3-month checkup with Dr. John, and she is so very knowlegeable and friendly. I am still incredibly pleased with my hearing aids. I love them so much, I hate to take them off at night.

Dr. John is wonderful to work with. She is very patience and listens to your concerns genuinely.

This is a small but nice facility but it is very clean and customer friendly. The testing booth may not be the most fancy one in town but the Dr. was very proficient in its use and it was large and comfortable. My visit was to retest for changes in my hearing and to start the process of getting one hearing aid fixed. All in the same visit, I was tested and discussed with about changes that were discovered, had a new hearing aid program installed, and my broken hearing aid was fixed. All in one trip and at the office!I was very pleased and think that you will likely be happy too.

Dr. Gomer was able to fine tune the Resound hearing aids supplied to me by the Veterans Administration. She was able to increase the upper register so that I can now better interpret the nuances of speech inflections. She was also able to instruct me in the applications that work with my iPhone to limit the annoying tinnitus which I experienced after brain surgery last November. This was my first visit to Dr. Gomer and I am well pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Gomer was very knowledgeable and professional. She was concerned about my specific hearing issues and history. She made suggestions about how to determine what was going on with my issues, not just suggestions about which hearing aid purchase.

Dr. Gomer made me feel comfortable immediately and explained the hearing exam process thoroughly. She then discussed the results with me and answered my questions. And, yes, we discussed hearing aids. She even put some on for me to try. I highly recommend Dr. Gomer, who recently bought the Allen Hearing Clinic in order to service Allen and Fairview residents, as well as Richardson patients in her Richardson office.
