We found this place by chance so we read the name and believe it or not we get carried away by the name. Well we open the door and oh wonder an urn with pastries !! it looks delicius ! Very clean place! so we stayed to have our breakfast The attention and excellent service Thanks to the waitress who served us very good Lora !! lets go to what interests them the most maybe… tasty breakfast all that delicious omelette! Solid diner. Plenty of seating, came here and parking had a decent amount of cars. I thought we would have to wait to get seated, but that was not the case. Coffee was good and the food was also decent. The home fries were tasty, which I can not say for a lot of diners. We didnt have to wait long for the food either. The waitress was also very sweet and kept filling our cups with coffee. Fast service. We didnt even have to ask. My friend ordered an omelette, however, she said it was dry and kind of tasteless. The french toast was on point though!Would definitely come back here for breakfast.

Food was delicious! Service was great. Only issue was I asked for no bacon on my sandwich and it came with bacon. Im a vegetarian so glad I caught it before I chewed it up. But I took it off. Otherwise it was a great experience as usual.

Awesome food and great service. No waiting to be seated and the waitress was to us in a couple minutes and food was out in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended if youre in the area and want some great food this is the place.

A classic hustling and bustling diner - this restaurant aims to please. The staff was not so friendly, though I don’t blame them for how BUSY it is! But the service was fast and food was good! I would recommend if this is the environment you’re going for.

Visited the diner along with a friend who was there before. I was surprised that the menu had so much to offer. How ironic, most everything on the menu cost about $10.00.I personally think they should cut back on the variety & focus on the taste & appearance. I am a big cole slaw person. But the 2 tablespoons served with my roast beef wrap looked like it was sitting around for a while.I love to visit hometown restaurants. It is almost always is a refreshing taste from the big fast food chains. This one, goes to the bottom of my favorites pile. SORRY!

Hidden gem with great food. Love the crab cakes. This is my go to restaurant right now, menu has wide selection, they also have many yummy desserts.

For starters was greeted by a grumpy old man, didnt even acknowledge just grabbed menus and walked to the table. Management should be compassionate about people with special needs. We had requested if our daughter (who is older) would be able to order from the childrens menu as she has a disability and doesnt eat that much. The server right off said no, I had requested she ask the manager. When she returned she stated that the OWNER said no. You would think in this day and age they would be able to accommodate request as it was not that much to ask. There were 4 in our party. As for the food the salad bar was just very basic. The portions were small, not that great and the prices for a diner are on the high end. Place could be updated as well. Definitely will not return here again!

My friend and I went for lunch on Sunday crowded but got seated fast I ordered the Italian panini it was ok usually a panini is on bread toasted but it came on a flatbread or folded pita meat was cold not that impressive.My friend got a roast beef wrap she liked it both had salad bar six dollars extra but wanted to try it not great only iceberg lettuce they have soup today broccoli my friend had some said it was good waitress was very nice pleasant.not a bad place but not great.

The waitress was nice and nice lookin. Only White iceberg lettuce, salad bar didnt really didnt have much, especially for $9.95 all you can eat, not much to eat. Cheap ingredients, gyro was average came with a pickle and 2-3 teaspoons of coleslaw. Definitely not worth $17.95. Wont go back, Ill try Dennys next time when Im in the area.

Do NOT order the Mousse “mouse” cake on display, it has been there for years. I had eaten it thinking it was freshly made weekly because I kept seeing it on display but it tasted like literal mold and when the server came to deliver it she looked like she highly regretted giving it to me. I really hope the pandemic left them no choice but to throw out all their moldy cakes and start new.

Decent experience here, the portions are on the bigger side which is nice, but you definitely pay for it. Their breakfast is even quite pricey!

Excellent liver and onions! Very tasty, tender, melt in your mouth! In town for a funeral and looked for a home style restaurant, reasonable priced. Found it! Jennifer is a great waitress willing to take time to make us feel special. If I lived closer I’d be a regular!

If you are ever in Bethlehem PA, be sure to stop at the Bethlehem Diner. We had originally stopped at a chain restaurant next to them in the parking lot. Wont mention their name, but theyre famous for grand slams. Walked in, there were two customers waiting at the register, I counted at least three tables that were waiting to order, and only one server. We decided to leave and try the Diner next door. It was packed and fully staffed. Seated immediately, food was awesome, and made fresh to order. Would give 10 stars (out of 5). We ever get back here, you can bet well be hitting them up.

Just landed on Allentown and headed to the Bethlehem Diner for breakfast. Omelette was great. Plenty of good food reasonably priced. Will try dinner here next time Im in Allentown.

This place is by far the worst diner Ive ever been to. Not only is the food mostly made from frozen, but its terribly prepared. The honey dip chicken, was dry and had NO honey. The cheese steak has an incredibly minimal amount of steak and was dry. As well did not come with any fried, they had to be purchased separately. The fountain lemonade was not free refill. Like I paid 60 bucks for craaaaaap. I felt bad for my server she seemed embarrassed by the food and management. Ill NEVER BE BACK EVEN IF IT WERE FREE. I wish I could put NO STARS.

I havent been since I was a little girl but this past visit had me wanting more than just breakfast. I was eyeing all the cakes and goodies they had. I got the Dutch wrap with a bit of a twist to make it personalized. They have apple juice and tomato juice some places dont offer anything but oj. I was also very impressed to find out that the cakes and goodies are made in house so that is a huge plus. Our table was clean when we were seated and our server was very nice she was busy but she made sure to reach out at least every other time she walked by. My mother waited on people for years and she was more than pleased with the service as well. I will be back when I am in the Valley cause they also serve breakfast all day ....

Took half of my family we loved it. The kids all left full and we picked up some dessert to go Priceless!

I ordered eggs Benedict this morning and it came out with chicken gravy instead of hollandaise. I asked the waitress if perhaps someone had made a mistake.. She took it back and then admitted to me that the chef did not feel like making hollandaise yet this morning. When they brought my new order, the chef had literally mixed cold lemon juice into the chicken gravy instead of making hollandaise. Then the waitress told me that most people dont know the difference.

I wish I had taken a picture of the omelet I had ordered. It covered the whole entire plate. The prices were very fair for the food that you had received. Very friendly service. Definitely make it a stop if youre near here

I cant comment on dinners here but the breakfast is fantastic! Weve come here for breakfast a lot over the years. First my father brought me here. Then my late husband and I would come here for breakfast. My daughter asked where she could take me for Mothers day breakfast and of course I said Bethlehem Diner. They have the BEST Eggs Benedict.They were super busy but the staff were seating very quickly. There were 7 of us. We didnt wait long to order and the waitress was extremely attentive and so friendly. Great Mothers Day!!!

The food was good. Upon arrival, the diner was busy and seating was prompt. My server (Laura?) was fabulous. She was engaging, proactive, communicated well, and prompt. Id visit again if in the area.

Food came out very quickly. The food portions were decent and the food tasted pretty good.

Shocked!First, when we asked how many to be seated, the lady took us to our table and threw our menus on the table and left without saying anything.Secondly,when the waitress forgot to bring my husbands bacon, she said take it easy with your damn bacon. We both looked at each other shocked! On top of that the bacon was cold. Lastly, the prices have sky rocketed and the food quality has diminished.We did not leave a tip and we are never coming again.

I will never return. I get slow service. Covid and all, however after waiting 45 minutes for food and never getting it, we decided to get it to go. They stuck tarter sauce in the box with my chicken croquet Instead of the gravy requested. They smashed the croquet s into mashed potatoes. The food was terrible. All in all never is how soon I will return there.

The food is always so good here and the desserts are delicious. Service was a little slow last night, but no fault of our waitress-- she was running around like crazy. Short- staffed like everybody else. People just need patience and understanding.

Current rating is 4.3 which is almost as shocking as the circus going on in this place. Lets start with the initial service - very obnoxious waitress that really didnt want to be there and continually forgot we were still sitting waiting. The rest of the staff was even worse as they conversed with each other openly on the dining room floor about their excapades as if the customers could not hear them. The food - well i wont waste time with how terrible that part was but when a diner cant get an omelet right - run! If this wasnt so close to Hwy 22 and visitors from unknowing travelers, it would be shut down.

Seemed pretty busy, service was THE BEST. My friend had a issue with her order & the waitress made sure she got a new plate, freshly cooked without a lot of drama. The food was excellent, quick, efficient and spot-on.Plenty of parking, they were very busy but we didnt have to wait long to get our drink orders, clean, friendly w/o being chatty, in-and-out w/o feeling rushed.Would definitely recommend...

Just ate my third meal here that wasnt breakfast. Everything is delicious. The grilled chicken and pork chops is highly recommended. I hope to sample everything on the menu overtime. The best diner on Earth?

Moved down south 3 years ago the food here is great just not like home. Had to come up north for a family emergency and we stopped here one night. It was wonderful. Gave me that Im home feeling.

I love the diner. They have a large selection of food and everything I have tried was delicious. Their personnel is very friendly and courteous.

When I went I ordered a veggie panini that never specified to have meat in it and found bacon in it. The manager was kind about it and got me another one quickly. You get what you pay for when it comes to the food. The prices werent bad at all, but it wasnt anything special.

I got disrespected by a lady cashier there at the end of my service she was downright rude towards me n extremely disrespectful towards me n charged me more money on my food bill at the end it was horrible wont go back there anymore n Ill be telling everyone about this horrible EXPERIENCE TOO!!! The food has been good most times but its extremely crowded and loud. Ive encountered both friendly and not so friendly employees. Its an ok spot to stop. Not my favorite, but I keep finding myself eating here so take from that what you want 😂

This place was great from the food I ordered (a Monte Cristo) to the staff themselves. The Monte Cristo I ordered was really good and wasnt to dry or too greasy which is something Ive seen in other sandwiches and the staff was really nice even helping us visitors from another state as we decided what to do with our day. This was truly an overall great experience!

Ordered take out steak sandwich, brought it home opened the container and the put coleslaw in the same container with no lid. The sandwich was soaked in coleslaw and looked like slop. Needless to say it went in the garbage. Very disappointed will think before I order takeout from that restaurant. Wasted time and money.

The food here is always delicious. Even on Mothers Day when it was packed we got seated relatively fast. Whenever I want to go to a diner, Bethlehem Diner is my first choice.

Nothing special here, my family and I came here because as a teen my boyfriend loved it, but apparently it’s died down since then. I ordered my son some blueberry pancakes and they came back raw but the kitchen replaced them for us. The service here was terrible, our server was nowhere to be found and was constantly talking to either another server or some guests that weren’t in her area. She also said “I need to take a sh*t” right behind where we were seated- not something you want to think about while you eat.

Place was hopping! Got a pork roll that was good quality, and the staff was super nice! If youre in the area and it isnt too packed, give it a try!

4th of July, we arrived just after noon, we were seated immediately, even though it was crowded, service was great, food came out very quickly, and was very good.

Came for breakfast for dinner (my favorite) - food was just not good. My French toast with blueberries (picture showed ACTUAL blueberries) came with this warm goopy stuff. The French toast was totally uncooked. It was legitimately just bread with crispy edges. Hash browns totally cold. I hate a diner let-down.

This place charged me an extra $5 and when I called to ask them why they hung the phone up in my face!! Say what you want about the food but the place is full of scavengers..

I usually like the Bethlehem diner but tonight I was a little disappointed. The bacon was old and greasy and the corned beef on the Reuben was dried out. I wont stop going there because I do like their food.

It was average as far as eating establishments go. I ordered Chicken parm with spaghetti. Chicken was a bit overdone.
