Best supermarket no contest.Great selection of quality food, produce, canned, dry, fresh, prepared, drinks everything you need. Even a sit down restaurant and food to go. Good drinks section to. It even has a pharmacy section and nice bathrooms.

Lack of requiring masks remains a concern. The honor system only takes one person. I would think they would want to protect their employees but doesnt seem to be a thing. They didnt have a couple things we came for like vegan marshmallows. Overall an okay option to stop at if you need to but wouldnt be my regular store.

Love the layout of the store. So much too choose from as the variety of foods is amazing. Cafe, fresh baked pizza, restaurant and a large selection of wines add to the ambiance of the experience.

Wegmans sets a high standard for customer service, every staff member is willing and does go out of their way to answer any questions or to direct you to a product you cant find. extremely clean store almost always stocked with what Im looking for .. or at least a comparable product. excellent food to go, pizza, subs, soups and a decent variety of heat and eat meals as well. I have been shopping here for close to 15 years and dont recall ever leaving there disappointed. MY ONLY COMPLAINT is it appears that Wegmans is joining the trend of more self checkout stations, by doing this they are actually providing LESS customer service .... they dont give the opportunity to cut your own steaks, bake your own bread etc, WHY are customers expected to be the cashier and bagger for free if they dont have the time to wait in line ?

I ordered a small cake and 4 dozen cookies from the Wegman’s Bakery for my daughter’s bridal shower for 7/10. My sister, Jackie works there and told me about a beautiful wreath image that we could put on the cake and cookies to match them. They turned out beautifully and looked so professional, I was proud to serve them for the shower. They looked lovely on the table and my guests were very impressed. The cookies were delicious and the cake was very moist, the buttercream icing was not too sweet.I would really like to thank Jackie for ordering them, with Maria’s help to get exactly what I wanted. Janae did an excellent job on the cake and Nancy did the cookies to match the cake perfectly. I was very pleased with the outcome and their customer service was excellent, as they did exactly what I wanted to make the day perfect! I highly recommend the Bakery at Wegman’s for any special occasion or holiday!

Easily said, this is the single greatest supermarket in the entire world. They have everything, keep just about everything in stock and the prices are always somehow still better than everywhere else around. Dont ever leave us, Wegmans!

Behold, The best produce, meat, seafood, sushi and baked goods. Their subs are par excellace as well. The staff is friendly and the selections are diverse. Yes it can be slightly overwhelming but it is a foodie & chef paradise. Beer & wine is also available for purchase in a separate checkout area. Of all the grocery stores this is the best.

The Wegmans in Allentown is a model for the way all grocery stores, large ones, should be. I shopped there tonight to pick up a case of my favorite sparkling bottled water which is made in Upstate New York, and although they didnt have any in the store when I made the initial inquiry, that case was ready for pickup the very next day. I got a call from Ray in grocery and he brought it to the customer service desk where I was told to wait for him to come to me. I thought I had transported to a ritzy town in Connecticut where I was getting the kind of service that is unavailable in this burg. I always get the impression that Wegmans is run by an astute family with a vision, focus and a sense of pride. It is run like the best small grocery stores were run years ago when most things, like schools, companies, restaurants, repair shops and American muscle car factories were run by people who had brains and understood how things work best. Wegmans is not only the best in the area, its downright great. After I buzzed around the store buying other things I didnt know I needed, a cashier with a cheerful personality and good manners handled the checkout and then a Helping Hands staffer even lugged that case of water into my trunk, like a gentleman. Go ahead, I dare you, spend a buck more and treat yourself to shopping at Wegmans rather than slogging through Giant or Walmart where inspiration is totally lacking. A visit to Wegmans in Allentown is like a mini vacation by comparison. Enjoy!

Wow, this is a very nice store. I was pleasantly shocked. Great food, clean and a friendly staff.

Great time at the deli. Came around 6 PM but when asking the deli workers, they state they are open until 8PM most days. They assisted well with any particular meats or cheeses I couldnt see from the glass and sliced them in a timely manner. Even had some friendly banter. Great work as expected from Wegmans.

Great store. Asian section has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings. Also there is plenty of selection in the Asian section to make many meals from scratch. The cheese department is fabulous. So many items to choose from. Plenty of parking and easy to find. I enjoy looking at all the variety of items.

I really enjoy shopping at Wegmans. Their take on international shopping is amazing. I like finding foods from different countries and being able to choose which ones to yry.

Their pre-prepared food section is amazing. You can find all sort of things and they are pretry decent. A great option for when you dont want to cook but also dont want horrible fast food.

I love Wegmans, but I am very upset about one thing they stopped doing. They stopped personal selection of specfic Meals to Go. I care for our elderly mother and it was always nice being able to select the soft vegetables, diabetic and allergy free meals for her. Now we are typically stuck with the harder green beans that she cant eat, if we decide to get a meal. We stopped buying them. What happened to the motto of Robert Wegman of caring for your customers. The all mighty dollar took over with the Wegman children.

Busy store employees are criss crossing all over the place not paying attention. Not an enjoyable shopping experience.

I have been shopping at Wegmans since the 1990s.Wegmans is not your every day supermarket.It is definitely an upper end food store.What makes Wegmans stand out is thatyou can get all the gourmet prepared food items and you can find all the everyday essentials for your household.Yes the prices are a bit more for the prepared items and lobsters and such, however their store brand items are very reasonable as well as high quality.Paper products are a great value and the Wegmans brand coffee is excellent.The store also has a restaurant with a bar where you can purchase lunch or dinner or you can grab a sub or pizza and self serve soda and sit in another more casual area.There is also an espresso bar with wonderful coffee and espresso based hot and cold drinks as well as breakfast sandwiches and cakes.On the negative side, the fruits and vegetables although good looking,are quite expensive.The cheese section has an abundant selection but is also on the higher side.They have a very clean and well stocked deli. where you can buy the Wegmans branded lunch meats which are very good.All things considered, I would highly recommend the Wegmans chain of supermarkets.Great prices on pharmacy items.Get the store brand as they are high quality and reasonably priced.Went here again today and prices continue to get more competitive, especially the pharmacy items.

I always enjoy visiting Wegmans when I’m in the Allentown area and this trip was extra special to pick up food trays for my son and DIL’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Timing was not convenient for Wegman’s but the employees could not have been more understanding and helpful. The fruit was fresh and colorful, veggies were crispy and fresh, and cheese selections were a big hit. Thank you for saving the day for a mother living 3 hours away from her son’s wedding! So convenient.

This store is dangerous in a good way, its massive and has new and exciting fare verses a normal supermarket.I prefer this location over other local competition.

Prices went up for there Cafe stuff went up but otherwise I cant complain. They have a really awesome import section with tons of hard to find ingredients and condiments.

Deli lines beyond belief. Sunday afternoon, they are serving #27 I pull #40!! 25+ minute wait just for cheese is unacceptable. Figure something out here people. The other two deli workers have to find ways to help when they get that far behind.

Love the store, but on today’s visit they had a cashier at the registers for the beer and wine that was sitting in a chair at the register and refused to let me know I could come to her register…just was looking at me odd and I stead of letting me know to come to her register like every other cashier at the store. Then as I’m putting my stuff up she makes a grabbing motion at the bottles that are out of her reach because she is sitting and makes a grunting noise. God forbid she use words or manners. Then does the same thing for my id. She never greeted me nor said anything like have a nice day when the transaction was complete. Instead she was listening to her coworkers and said something to them. Oh yes, she apparently can speak!!! I hope she finds a new job because customer service is not for her.

Great assortment of fresh products, but some prices were obviously inflated due to it being Valentines weekend. $30 scallops and $32 swordfish and I still need to cook it??? No thanks. On the positive side everyone was wearing masks correctly and the produce looked great. Wouldnt recommend going on a Saturday morning because it was packed. Weekday mornings are a much better option

They have an in-house beer and wine selection that is definitely a place to go visit if you need a single bottle or a six pack. I went there looking for a variety of German beers and was surprised that they have some excellent choices. Picked up my favorite dark beer and will definitely go back for more in the future.

Love Wegmans. Always go here for my groceries. They are very competitive on prices for most things often cheaper then their competitors. For example ground beef 80/20 is between $5.20 to $6.00 a pound at wegmans. Thats the best price on the area for such a quality beef. I dont not have ever worked for them. Just a fan.

Well you cant beat Wegmans really. Although I do love whole foods, Wegmans prices are often better for the same products. However when it comes to organic produce it seems that whole foods has a bit more variety on some standard fare.whenever a new competitor comes in the area Wegmans always steps up their game. I do avoid shopping there on the weekends as it is perfectly nuts with the distracted caffeinated westenders staring blankly at a shelf while their cart blocks the entire aisle, as well as other seemingly obvious discourtesies throughout the shopping experience. I never ate in the cafe but I do like that I can mix up a six pack of my own varieties of IPAs... One thing that does annoy me about Wegmans though. They have a certain brand of something say Harvard beets for instance. youll be hard pressed to find any other brand of Harvard beats on the shelf besides wegmans. Kind of a bully tactic if you ask me. All in all Wegmans pretty much rocks.

Clean and this store has a lot of products to choose from. The deli section and their meats are reasonably priced. The soups are delicious as well as their pizza and desserts.

My favorite place to shop for all my grocery needs. I can find everything I need here for prices that are competitive. They have the best produce of all the grocery stores in the Lehigh Valley.You can find a huge assortment of organic items, gluten-free, and other specialty needs.The Wegmans brand of items is simply the best. I have found many items can be purchased in bulk here as well- frozen veggies and fruit, paper products, and other frozen foods.

Great store. Great selection. It can be the cheapest place to shop (buy wegmans brand food) or the most expensive (buy prepared food). Its got every thing form a subshop to a sit down pub. Its good for lunch as well - hoagies, salad, chinese, pizza or a chef prepared meal. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

People rave about Wegmans.Insane decision not to have their Café open in some capacity.The store would be better if they improved the house baked goods which have really gone downhill. We used to frequent this location over five years ago. Notable decline in many areas.They push their own brand too much.Added: We brought home their gluten-free corn muffin mix (to the South) because my wife liked that it was so good. I used to be (probably a few years now) all corn meal and flour. She made the mix and the muffins fall apart and have no substance. The finished muffins are a loosely held together slurry of ingredients without structure. WHY? Wegmans changed the recipe and CHEAPED OUT!. There is very finely ground flours including now rice flour and there is no substance to hold the muffins together.This is emblematic of Wegmans and their third-rate house brand.We have Publix in the south, GL are we lucky.

I love everything about this store except the snooty people who work here. I have only had one pleasurable experience with the staff. Not that any were bad persay they just werent engaging and seem rather cold. I thought perhaps it was just me but after a while I saw that, No its not. The nice interaction I did have was with a girl who works in the floral department. She was kind, informative and polite.This store has the best floral dept. produce section, Deli prepared food and Bakery of any other grocery store that I. Have encountered here bar none. So I dont let the not so friendly staff deter me.

Very good supermarket. But overcrowded and overrated. They have the same problems as everyone else...low on stock sometimes, for example. Produce here is no better than Giant. But unlike Giant, their scanning app works perfectly here. And it makes it much easier to check out. Worth the trip just for that.
