Just added Batch to my ice cream tour of metroPhilly and the United States. Delicious ice cream, super creamy texture and strong flavor. Served at the perfect slightly soft temperature that lets the flavor loose. Terrific home made waffle cone too.The spot also offers an uncommon type of milkshake; a boozy milkshake.

Took myself and girlfriend to downtown market on a whim and ended up trying the ice cream flight out. Hands down some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had and we finished the entire thing in minutes. The guy we spoke with (I believe the owner) was absolutely amazing and he told us that a local restaurant was actually selling the ice cream too and it’s closer to us! Regardless, we will definitely come back to this location due to the great first experience that we had!

Batch is by far the best ice cream shop in the Lehigh Valley! They make new and fresh ice cream flavors everyday and you can really taste the real milk and true ingredients! The customer service is outstanding! The best part is, the owners are absolutely incredible and are best friends with bar 1838! It really is amazing to see the two families own businesses and work together!! The ice cream at Batch is some of the best ice cream in the Lehigh Valley! Their ice cream is super smooth and creamy. Its the perfect texture. They have about 16-20 flavors of ice cream, and some of them rotate. You can get a milkshake made from any of their ice cream flavors, and they have alcoholic shakes as well. Their sundaes are the best thing on the menu though! They have signature sundaes with fun flavors, and my favorite is the Campfire Smores (vanilla ice cream, graham crackers, hot fudge, and toasted marshmallow). You can also make your own sundae by selecting an ice cream flavor and toppings. The staff is very kind, and the location is awesome because its inside the Downtown Allentown Market. There are other restaurants located there, so you can get food from one of the other restaurants and then get ice cream from Batch all in one stop. There is seating both inside and outside the market. There is no parking lot, so you can either park on the street or in a nearby garage. The 8th & Walnut parking deck at 777 W Walnut St offers free parking on weekdays 5pm to midnight and on weekends from 8am to midnight.

Ice cream is to die for. The lavender Oreo flavor was fantastic but I ended up getting the chocolate caramel Oreo flavor. Was practically licking the cup. The staff was so nice and was urging us to try out the flavors. If I could rate it 10 stars I would!

Ordered Batchs M&M icecream for dessert at Shelbys the other week. It was meant for my son, but I claimed it because it was phenomenal!  I LOVED it so much I ordered 3 scoops to go, and grudgingly had to share with the family the next day. I also ordered it because it was made here, and ordering it would support two local businesses!

I just had my first experience with Batch, and believe me when I tell you that that was the BEST cookie dough ice cream I’ve had in my life. Perfect texture, plenty of chocolate chips, and the cookie dough tasted like someone’s grandma put her heart and soul into it. Totally delicious! Can’t wait to try more flavors!

Disappointed. Website and reviews make this place appear to be a must stop but trust me it’s not. Was not friendly, didn’t speak much, ice cream was par, small portions, forgot spoon and had to walk back in the rain. Much better quality a few miles away at Udder bar.

Very happy to see another small & local gem join the downtown scene! It was our first time visiting but it definitely won’t be the last. Menu was amazing and my daughter LOVED all the choices for toppings. SO GOOD!!!

Visited Batch at the Trolley Barn today. Friendly and welcoming! Wide variety of flavors. My daughter loved the classic chocolate sugar cone and I enjoyed my milkshake. Both were very yummy!! We will definatley visit again!

Outstanding dessert stop inside the Downtown Allentown Market! Unbelievable ice cream with a very modern & diverse menu that appealed to our whole family. Excited to have a date night soon to enjoy the adult ice cream menu as well. Love having this downtown! Adds so much to the appeal & feel of the new downtown.

It was my first time visiting but will definitely not be my last. Great product, nice location, friendly staff and kind & informative owner all added to an A+ visit. My only regret is that I was too full to try even more flavors. I can’t wait to try a sundae and milkshake!-Ray

Great ice cream. Lots of flavors. Very creamy and smooth. Everything is made in house. The owner was there serving and was very friendly. He shared his story and sounds like he has a really huge passion for what he does. It’s located in this place called The Market in downtown, so great place to get dessert after having lunch or dinner at another stall. I will definitely be back to try more of the flavors and I’m sure there will be more flavors on the way. Highly recommend.

Went to batch to get some dessert after having lunch. The staff was very friendly and engaging. They make all their ice cream on site in small batches, so it was very fresh. I ordered a 20oz chocolate shake and it was amazing. There was nothing simple about this. You could taste the cocoa in the ice cream. The chocolate syrup is also homemade. There were little pieces of chocolate in the shake, but I don’t know if it was from the ice cream or the syrup. We will definitely be back to try other items. They also have adult shakes with alcohol. The ice cream sundae’s also looked great. I will have to try that next time.

Went there today with the Boss Lady and this place is phenomenal. One of the best if not the best ice cream we have had. They use fresh ingredients not like some of the other ice cream parlors that use syrup and what not. You can clearly tell the difference me personally recommend the Coffee and Doughnuts flavor but they are all great. They offer a flight as well so you can try 4 of the flavors which no one else really does. Once you go there I guarantee you that you will go back this place is great. The staff and owner is great as well.

Hard 5. My wife and I got a flight from Batch and spent the whole time gushing about how incredible it was. The staff was awesome. They were welcoming and talkative which elevated the experience. They were also kind enough to give us a sample right out of the machine. We can’t wait to get back to try more flavors.

Soooo good! Sampled a few flavors and had such a hard time deciding. Ended up getting a cookies and cream flavor. Will definitely be back to try some others! Love that they do a rewarding punch card too!

Went to Batch yesterday with my Son and this place was GREAT! Service was great and the ice cream was top notch! I had the Chocolate Mint Chip and he had the Cookies and Cream! Will definitely be back soon!

Before I even touch on the delicious ice cream this establishment has.. I would like to speak about the above and beyond customer service and experience I had at this establishment.. From the time I got in line till the time I was served the crew and owner there kept me engaged in pleasant conversation my overall customer experience was above the charts. I wish I could give them ten stars but five is the limit here.. Now to the icre cream I ordered a party cake milkshake by far the greatest shake I have ever had in Allentown to date... Im from Philadelphia I feel confident in saying Nifty Fifty better be happy.this establishment isnt in philly because all hands down this would be the go to spot... In will continue to be a customer at this establishment and I will refer my family and friends here and if your reading this I think you should give them a try I confident in saying you wouldnt want ice cream from anywhere else... Congrats on a job well done guys.....
