I dont know how they do it. They seem to have hidden gems all over the place. I go there every payday and I gladly hand over my money. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. I really like the new additions because they really are new. Always something to find. I have a few select and obscure bands, artists that I search for. This is my place to do that.

Not many of these around anymore. New vinyl, old, 45s, CDs. No frills but, you can search through and sometimes find a nugget. Great for the audiophile as well as retro fun for those whove never been.

Double Decker is a great shop. They have tons of records and prices are reasonable. Since the vinyl comeback and hipsters driving up prices I dont buy many records anymore, but I got some good vinyl finds there recently. I usually buy CDs instead. DD has a small selection of CDs but I always manage to find something interesting. They have a ton of CDs in their $1 room so if you have an hour or two and youre willing to look through a bazillion CDs that never should have been produced in the first place you might find a few gems. Like Lemmy said, the chase is better than the catch.

Great place. Used and new vinyl. Prices vary. I have been buying a lot lately and find them competitive, especially on 180 gram. Love the two turntables with headphones so customers can inspect their music before purchase. And kudos to anyone who has lots of Zappa including bootlegs!

A collection of vinyl like youve ever seen. Will blow your mind with their inventory and prices are good and reasonable. The staff is always friendly and never rushed customers out of the store even if they are closing. They offer fair prices if you sell them any of your vinyls as well.

This place is easily the best record store on the east coast. Ive been collecting records since about 1993 and have still yet to find a place that rivals this store.Two things you can always count on here: fresh stock and nice people.However far away the store might be, its worth the drive. They are honest about the used DJ gear and low priced too. Always felt safe not worried about getting rippedOff. These humans are honest. Cool rare oldschool Techno records too. But I went digital.

What an absolutely incredible experience! This was my first time coming here and the staff made me feel right at home. They have a killer selection and are always getting in new stuff.

What a fantastic find for some out-of-towners to stumble upon! With me, my young sons, and my mom, we were sorely out of place in this definitely hip place, but everyone was super friendly and helpful. We ended up spending WAY more than we intended, but we found so many great records to add to our collections! I wish we had a place like this near us!

Came in an hour or two before closing time, and managed to look through everything I wanted and then some! Staff was helpful and courteous, not to mention well informed. Prices for everything is very fair and actually cheaper than other places Ive visited. Just coming in and browsing got me convinced to come in again and see their new stuff. Worthy of 5 stars.

I have come to the point where I try to get here every time I get paid. It is a bit out of the way for me, yet its worth it. Some of my favorite records have come from this store. Nowadays most of my records any more has been from here. The prices are great, and the selection is even better. Most stuff you think you wont find that you consider ordering on discogs, check here I can guarantee you will find it. I am on the younger end of most serious collectors (Second Year in College) and I have been seriously collecting for maybe 4-5 years now. I love this store so much. I am waiting for the day when I save money and be like okay nothing for me here today and say maybe next week. That is never the case. You will ALWAYS find something you want.

Double Decker is such a great store. The staff really knows their stuff and are super friendly. The selection is amazing and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Awesome selection of Jazz, Rock, Alternative, R&B, Indie and Punk. One can get lost in the 50 cent room for at least a day or two. (obviously, everything in the room is 50 cents). This is a must stop for any Vinyl collector. One can spend the entire day there browsing and buying, all day long.

Favorite place to look for records

I never leave here empty handed. The owner and staff are easy to be around. The prices and inventory keep you coming back. There is a medley of product for everybody. Common to uncommon in varying grades at varying prices. The new arrivals sections are as large as some stores entire stock. There are also occasionally interesting novelties to buy. Rare more pricey items are displayed on the walls where you can get to them and inspect for yourself. If I had one complaint it would be the choice of music playing when Im there otherwise this store is the real deal.

I discovered this fantastic record store six years ago and have been a regular ever since. The selection and prices cant be beat. No matter what your budget, DD has something for you!

Okay so this place is the best record shop I think Ive ever been in. Everywhere you look you will see something new that you want. Its not like other record stores where you might find one or two gems floating around in this place you need to bring with a couple thousand dollars because you will see a gem everywhere you look. The owner Jamie knows exactly what record collectors want and does a great job of keeping the shelves stocked filled with great records. If you like rare hard-to-find Jazzpunk psychedelic krautrock all the things that are not easy to find other places you will find something you like here. It is worth the drive no matter where you are coming from. This may be the best shop in Pennsylvania and dare I say possibly the entire United States. Im sure other reviewers will say the same.

While particularly famous for his selection of rare punk and hardcore music, serious collectors come from far and wide, even traveling overseas, to obtain original or autographed copies of jazz, rock, pop, alternative, indie, and hip-hop records as well. Jamie also seems to be a magnet for serious collectors looking to sell their collections, often worth thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars, hence why his inventory of rare and collectible items is unsurpassed. The 50 cent room is also great for customers looking to pick up pre-owned copies of common or less popular albums in above-average condition, but DD always has a plethora of current new releases as well. DD also sell used CDs, cassettes, and electronics, including turntables, amps, speakers, and cassette decks. However, the shop caters primarily to vinyl enthusiasts. I have found quite a few gems sifting through the used records here. The $1 - $3 record shelves are also a great place to find some classics to add to your collection. Most of everything I have taken home from the used bins has been in very good to excellent condition. They keep a nice stock of newer records too. Only drawback is that they dont stock up with RSD releases for record store day, but I still give them 5 stars because I never leave empty handed or disappointed. I have lost countless hours here (and thats a good thing), its all about the hunt (~);}

Ive been around music all my life and I can honestly say that Double Decker is the coolest place to go buy good quality vinyl and expand your musical experience through exploring new genres and bands. Even if you dont have much money in your pocket, the 50 cent room always has those perfect gems that you can bring home for lifetime listening enjoyment. My buddy and I go here a lot and we are looking to follow in the footsteps of Double Decker and open our own shop somewhere outside of PA where we can give our customers the best we can give....much like Double Decker itself. Been going to Double Decker since 1997. Best selection, variety and prices in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Dont want to pay full price for a mint condition record? Well they probably also have a slightly used version that plays just as well and for half the price. And the fairest shop around when selling your vinyl. Most places Ive been to are one sided when purchasing. Double Decker gave me cash and quite a bit of it for my crates of popular, not rare vinyl. In my opinion, best shop in the East.
