Always clean and well organized. But it is hard to find help. Have had to walk halfway across the store for help before. Now i will just go to another hardware store if i cant find what i need or any help.

After walking across the store 3 times it took 3 sales people before I finally was able to find a furnace humidifier filter. The last gentleman finally found them with the thermostats. I was in the store looking for 45 minutes & it should have taken 10 minutes to get in & out.

DONT ORDER CARPET THEIR INSTALL SUBCONTRACTORS ARE INCOMPETENT. Ordered carpet beginning of June. Received install date of August 23. Received several reminders that they were coming. Tore apart my master bedroom, moved a king sized bed, big TV, dresser, and closet to another room. Carpet installers - Anderson - never showed up. Then they tried to reschedule me 10 days out. Forget it.Home Depot - dump Anderson. They were indifferent, unreliable, and incompetent.

This used to be my go to store especially living an hour away. Built a retail business and cabins from the supplies Ive boughten here. Ran in purchased wood and then knew I needed to go to the garden center so I could buy around $300 worth of plants. As I was looking around the attendant starting closing gates to the flowers. Mind you they didnt close for another hour or more. I asked what time they closed and was told in an hour but that they were doing a soft close and I couldnt get to the plants any longer! So left my cart and went and spent $400 at a better quality store and a store that wanted my business unlike home depot.

An excellent store. Anything you need is there. Good prices and a friendly staff.

If you go here dont expect much help. Go here knowing what you want and plan ahead. Im a regular at this store. And have had to wait for some time for workers to help. I do have a business account with Home Depot so I use the chain across the US for work. I do like most of the products so I will continue to use them for there quick and easy chains and awesome app.

Cant beat Home Deport for miles of home improvement stuff. Wear your comfy shoes, or put squishy insoles in your work boots.

Most of the time when I go into this store I have a poor experience. The shelves are typically poorly stocked when the app says they have a case. The staff tends to be difficult to find and in a poor mood. I had the same experience twice when interacting with the store manager because he happened to be there. I wasnt complianing just looking for help, and he acted as though I was a huge inconvenience and he didnt want my business. The cashiers can be friendly but its a toss up even with the same person between visits. I wish I could say this experience was only true during the pandemic because they are in a stressful situation but its not. Its only got worse because of it.Most of the positive interactions Ive had are with customer service. I once returned something and they were super helpful in returning and replacing the item that broke. Ive also dealt with them regularly for pickup orders and theyve been really stellar. They always get the items quickly and are friendly and professional in their interactions.Ill continue to shop there because the prices are better and Ive always dealt with big box stores. Its an easier one stop solution for a lot of needs, and as Ive mentioned pickup is great. If I had another solution with comparable pricing Id go there, but I dont so Ill keep putting up with the poor treatment.

I would not recommend ordering anything from home depot that uses a 3rd party for delivery. I have had so many problems with their 3rd party services that it would be easier to have it dilivered to the store and picked up.

Store was well stocked. No one to help look for products, no one asked if I needed help they just passed you without looking at you.

Worst experience ever I do not recommend doing any big jobs with home depot especially carpet they lost my carpet than the day came to install and they canceled its been a big run around and when you call and ask to speak with someone about it they brush it off and are no help at all. Never again will I do business with alpena home depot.

I came in to order blinds during the Labor Day sale. Thankfully, the one gal that does most of the help with ordering was there. She was very good making suggestions and helping with making sure the order was accurate. She also looked for promotional codes during the checkout. There were 2 other people waiting and she acknowledged them and was very courteous. My Bali blinds were delivered within the expected time frame! I havent put them up yet but Im sure I will love them.

I dont ordinarily shop at home depot because there isnt a location near Saugatuck, mi. I visited this location with an eclectic list of tools and materials we needed to complete our work. The five star rating is due to the help I was able to find quickly that got me in and out of the store. For someone that doesnt shop there often that was a priceless service. They have a great selection of high quality commercial tools as well.

Feelt like I was walking around in a post apocalyptic world.... people are walking around afraid of covid 19 and fail to realize a mask wont save you when your filling up your gas tank and touch the pumps or walking in a store grabbing stuff that hundreds or even thousands of people touch then you scratch your face because the mask you have on is irritating.... you cannot escape the inevitable, God will take you when its your time.

The selection was good, but one employee seemed a little surly and irritated. The woman at the paint counter was especially unpleasant, throwing a box on the floor and completely ignored me when I thanked her. She might blame it on the hearing aid she told everyone she wore, and thusly couldnt understand due to mouths being covered, but having a disabled child myself, I made sure to pull my mask down to smile and thank her. She turned her back on me. Other than that, the cashier and the gentleman who helped us load a door was also pleasant.

While most of my experiences with this home depot are positive, I have had a recurring issue with getting help loading heavy objects into my vehicle. This is now the third time. Today, I bought two bags of concrete mix. They weigh 80 lbs a piece and that is much heavier than I can lift on my own. A nice man helped me load the bags onto my cart. At check out the cashier phoned for an employee to help load them into my car. I waited about 10 min and no one came. Eventually another customer asked if he could help me. Another time we bought a large amount of railroad ties and waited a ridiculous amount of time for someone to help load them. This is not good customer service. Are the employees lazy?? Or just truly not care?
